Unbelievable how a 60 minute game takes 3 hours on CBS even with thr commercials taken off. Sure it went into one overtime, but that just shows how many times CBS goes to commercial, constantly stopping the game every other snap.

2008-2010 were great for LSU and Alabama, including watching Julio Jones against Patrick Peterson.

Who would’ve thought in 2008 that by 2021 Oklahoma announced to join SEC and Texas A&M already been in it for 9 years (10 seasons). Back when all 4 big 12 teams where were they belonged. If it wasn’t for them and we added 9-10 SEC games we could play everyone in like 2/3 years everyone home and home every 4/5 instead of the 10+ now and that’s even without Texas and Oklahoma coming in.

Its always amazing watching these refs punish a kid for celebrating a big play. The ref literally tries to push him, seems like Bama is always playing the other team and the refs. Always nice hearing Gary Danielson get his panties in a bunch when Bama wins.
They were calling that for others as well. The un sportsman like penalty for celebrating is the most anal and fussy rule in college football.

Enjoyed the game very much, because I turned the sound off. Lord yankees hate it when Alabama wins. Both teams were tough as nails. Alabama QB sucked. The Alabama defense won the game.

He was 4-1 with LSU over Alabama and he is 11-4 with Alabama over LSU so he was great for both of our programs and they actin like he left them for us he left(2000-2004) them for Miami Dolphins NFL 2005 and 2006 the. Went back to SEC West with Alabama 2007. I wonder if it’s just LSU still salty or if Michigan State salty he left them and Telodo. Heck I wonder if Michael Stage still hates Saban and LSU cause he left them for LSU he coached the Spartans 1995-1999 then left straight for LSU 2000-2004 he didn’t even coach there bowl game that year. I bet if Michigan State and LSU played it would be so hostile for Michigan State after he left them 9-2 and ditched for LSU. They should do home and home with Michigan State LSU if Michigan still holds the hostility like LSU does then it should be a hell of a game!!!

As much as this was a BIG WIN for Alabama in their Football History I have to admit, I'm glad LSU had QB issues that year. Had LSU had a reliable QB like they did the previous season when Matt Flynn was their QB, then Alabama would not had won this Game the way they played. Offensively we lost 6 points (really 7 if you include the XP) with a fumble near the front line of the endzone, JPW had that silly penalty unsportsmanlike which gave LSU great field position on their next drive, Bama fumbled a Kickoff in which gave LSU again great Field Position and they scored a TD off of, an Interception, a Missed FG and a Blocked FG. I know its hard to Play a Mistake-free game vs. a Rival that will give a great effort, but that was waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many Mistakes for Bama to give up. LSU responded by throwing 4 picks! 2 of them Bama scored a TD off of ('Shad Johnson Pick 6 one of them) and the other happening in OT which prevented LSU scoring and eased the pressure of Bama O having to score on their possession. I love winning by any means, but Wins like that is why Saban don't want the fans or media to exalt his team because that is sending his players the wrong message on what it means to be Great.
