So happy with the progress this season Key is closing the gap this rivalry will be competitive again in the near future This off-season we need to go get edge rushers, linebackers, replace jaylon king, keep Rutherford, singleton and figure out what is going on with punt and kickoff coverage because it kept Syracuse in the game and allowed Georgia to control that game in the second half. Go jackets and win the bowl game!!!
As a lifelong tech fan, I am a bit disappointed we lost, but remember, they only lost by one possession..ONE! This has proven that tech is starting to get better. Not perfect, but remember guys, Uga at the time was the no 1 team in the nation, and uga is tough to play against. For the first time in a long time, this team gave me some hope and light! It’s refreshing. Go Jackets! 💛🐝
This year has been challenging, yet fun. You can tell that the players gotten better under Key. Under Collins, not so much. I agree with you on that we have to win the Bowl game for Recruiting and Transfer Portal purposes. Hopefully, we can get a DC to make our defense better

Not enough depth of talent to beat UGA right now unfortunately no matter how tough you are Coach Key.. THWG but they just keep reloading. There is a huge difference between a team with 4 and 5-star recruits compared to a team of 3-star recruits with no depth that keep transferring when the portal opens every year. Some teams are loaded with talent and unfortunately Tech is not there yet. 1990 was 32 years ago.. a lot of these younger Tech students/fans don't even realize how competitive this rivalry used to be but I'm old enough to remember so I have a right to bitch about it.. It has become embarrassing as a lifelong Jackets fan.
The difference is Georgia treats this game like playing a Vandy, or UT Martin. They have trouble getting up for the game. They honestly just want the quick win and to get to the SEC Championship game and they want to prevent injuries. Bowers and McConkey could have played. Kirby didn't need them. Georgia went up 31-13 and just mailed it in. GT on the other hand treated this game like their National Championship. Georgia treated the game like a nuisance to even be playing in.
A bad coach cant see the growth of their team. And for Ga. If I was Kirby I would have ripped the door off the locker room and gave my players hell. If Ga plays Alabama like they played us they will 100% loose and you can't blame the refs for your bad players

A few mistakes but tech played good , no moral victories however the victory is in the progress
