All the heroics by this player or that player wouldn't mean anything without our field goal kicker who put up 12 of our 30 points. Game ball goes to Aiden Birr.

“NC State did what they wanted offensively” yet GT got 3 INTs and held them to 7 points going into the 4th quarter. The offense wasn’t do anything. It was 40 degrees outside. The D wasn’t gonna hold forever. You should have said “NC State did whatever they wanted to IN THE 4TH QUARTER”…this guys a nut job

Good stuff as always, Bryce. I agree with much of what you said but there were also a couple of head scratchers most notably that NCSU did what they wanted on offense and that they had a good game plan. For three quarters they didn’t do what they wanted which indicated that the original plan might not have been so good but, being good coaches, they adjusted (and you even pointed out some of what they changed). They owned our defense in the 4th quarter for sure.
I agree that their lines pushed ours around quite a bit but one thing I thought I saw that wasn’t mentioned was that it appeared to me that their backend and linebackers were able to fill gaps in the DL which is something they had not been doing particularly well most of the season. They did what Miami should have and did it successfully and instead of them giving up big running plays when backs got past their DL much of the year they were able to stuff us. Good on them. Good plan and good execution. Did you see that as well?
As for depth we definitely are not as deep as we need to be. I think Brent and company are getting there which I believe you also mentioned but we definitely are still a work in progress on that.

That game was definitely sloppier than the previous one. I think having a true freshman qb out there for most of the snaps made it trickier. Given that Haynes King didn’t play much today, I’m hoping they’re trying to keep him healthy for next week’s game. Obviously he isn’t going to be completely healthy, but I’m happy we managed to pick up a win without King getting banged up a lot. That puts him in a better position to put it all on the line in next week’s COFH game.

It was a sloppy game but a win is a win. Need to continue building depth. As well, Philo looked amazing but let’s not overreact.

NC State would have won this game by not scoring their final TD, if they went down on the 1 they could have exhausted the entire clock and kicked the chip shot FG. Instead he got a TD and gave GT the chance to take the lead. You play to win the game...

I honestly think Haynes is playing possum and Brett key will play him at the last minute against Georgia, cause honestly I think a healthy Haynes and a strong defense can beat Georgia this year and pull out the upset of the year!! That’s how they threw off Miami

He is definitely not playing opossum. He is gonna probably need shoulder surgery. He hasn't thrown a ball in practice for weeks. You'd know that if you stop listening to this clown who has no inside info
