    Can you please explain how to “make one”? I just started teaching myself to knit yesterday. I am making a simple scarf for my young daughter and I wanted to make a couple of these to sew onto it when I’m done.

    Hello do you have the written instructions for this pattern? I would love to make these for my coworkers

  • @JanetTuckerBennett60
    @JanetTuckerBennett60 8 лет назад +1

    As far as the pattern goes, it was easy to do. However, you didn't tell us/me what to do with the loop of yarn I have between the humps. I guess I cut it and weave it in? Sure hope it doesn't come undone.
    I have downloaded the written pattern. It has LOTS more detail than the video. I didn't know we were supposed to break the yarn before beginning the second hump. Since I'm a beginner, these little details are VERY important to me. Thx for the tutorial and the link for the pattern.

    Omg I loved this video soooooooo much I've been knitting for so long and I love it . One time I didn't have knitting needles so I used skewers . It was hard but now I got some and I can't wait to make these . I love this video soooooooo much and others say it's to fast but to be honest that doesn't bother me . Thank u so much for making this video cause now I have something to make that will be easy so I don't have to make scarfs anymore . Thank u ❤😁

      Thanks for subscribing, Quinevere! Hmmm... This pattern will work great with bigger needles and yarn to make a larger heart. I haven't tried knitting it larger. Probably starting w 3 sts and knitting more increase rows... Let me know how it goes!!!

      heya. it didnt go so well :/ i think i was doing something wrong because the yarn kept on getting tighteri stayed up till 6am trying to do it but i just left it lol but im still learning as ive only been knitting for 3 weeks :) ive knitted a scarf for my one year old and some flowers that i put on it and its just making me want to knit more! great videos!! x

    hey so i have an idea but i'm not sure it'll work. i want to do a coffee table runner and i was thinking about putting a heart in the middle. I see you have those small ones how many stitches will i need for a a heart that is six inches? i'm guessing 32. 18 per hump. Am I wrong? or will that work?

    I'm feverishly knitting these up for my son's Valentine's Day classroom party and I've apparently made an error - the "humps" are coming apart upon lightly tugging and adjusting them. I can't give ten year old children broken hearts, please haaaaalp. Thanks in advance.

    • @studioknit
      @studioknit  11 лет назад

      Hi, Monika Arreola - Hmmm... not sure how they're falling apart! I'm excited to hear you're making them up for your son's party! Let me see if I can help with these instructions:
      Hump 1: Cast on 3
      Knit 3
      K1M1, K1M1, K
      Knit 5
      K1, K1M1, K1, K1M1, K1
      Knit 7
      Cut yarn
      Make Hump 2
      Then, when you have all 14 stitches on needle, knit them together.
      Does that help?
