See if you can stay in AZ maybe at the family driveway. Live in the rv a couple of days, so you can get an idea about what you need and be close to be able to get the necessary items.

We just bought a 21’ camper van. Taking on a month trip with the wife and dog. It’s a luxury style not a generic build out.
Oh that’s awesome I’ve seen some awesome set ups like that. Have so much fun. I’d love to do a month or two long trip around the country and just see so many places

You might want to think about a charging station for all your phones, tablets, etc with kids. Plugs can be limited in an RV. We use a USB tower for our charging station.

Instapot would have taken care of the steamer/rice cooker. Heavy duty rubber gloves for the gray and black tank dumping. Outside grill, trash bags, etc. What kind of RV are you getting determines some items needed. Watch some RV RUclips's before you leave. Most items you will get when you get there. I would have sent on line purchased to Ariz in stead of hauling down. 🤔
I agree. I kept thinking you have family there, why are you having everything shipped to AK if you’re just turning around and bringing them to AZ? Most of what you’re bringing could have been purchased there.
@@MisterEMystery My wife and I lived in a 5th Wheel for 3 Yrs 10 mo & 10 days. RV is not like a house - limited storage space.
@HebronGrandpa I’m sure it is. I was surprised to read you saying “outside grill” as something Brooke should get with that limited space you’re referring to. You and your wife are 2 people, they’re going to have 2 adults and 3 children, even less space will be available regardless of the size. My family drove a good sized Winnebago from Minnesota to Seattle round trip and again Minnesota to Mexico border. There wasn’t a lot of room either of those times, it was my parents, my brother and me; one less than this group will be.

Also I’m not sure how long you have been here but the Vadallia onion season the Shriners brings up truck loads and sells by the bag for a great price I usually grab three bags and can them!! They would be great freeze dried. On the cheap

Are those microcloth towels absorbent? I haven’t found microfiber to be absorbent.
Because of the waffle weave texture they are much more absorbent than your typical microfiber cloth. I haven’t had a chance to actually use the bath towel yet but I’ll update a review when we test them out! But the hand towels are very absorbent and soft
Are cacti in AZ blue? My bro keeps sending pics and I haven’t seen a blue cactus yet🤔😂.
One of the things you should look at in AZ, at say Walmart (I know where things are in these stores, can only guess at other shops) in Automotive for RV toilet paper. While you may try stopping at rest areas along the way, or restaurants/stores, there will come a time when someone’s going to need to use the bathroom and a tree or bush outside isn’t good enough. Regular toilet paper can clog your camper’s system, RV paper dissolves better…though you’ll come to hate it when dealing with wet situations, it’s better for the motor home’s lifespan.
Stop buying things you can pick up in AZ or along the way back. Like HebronGrandpa said, have Amazon or whatever online purchases ship to AZ (ship some candy or whatever they like, to them as a thank you for allowing you to ship to them items you need).
