The biggest problem is the tyres. A simple puncture leaves you stranded, and you can't simply push it home. Fortunately, when it happened to me, I wasn't miles from home on a trail. At the very minimum, the bike needs tyres equivalent to the Schwabe Marathon Plus, and preferably, something closer to a motorbike tyre. The second niggle is the chain ring. It's a bit too big to get the bike moving without throttle assist.
