Worst bike i own and from the same company that brought you the electric snowboard. Motor failed after 100 miles, the mid suspension locked a dozen miles after that. I’ve had to straighten the wheels too. Because I bought it off another reviewer they wouldn’t honour the warranty.
The motors don't usually fail, also this is a bafang which Is considered a higher quality motor, so I bet it's ur controller that failed. This bike uses the same motor that the Ariel rider grizzly uses in the rear, it's a high performance motor g063 1000 model

If you followed me on Facebook you would have seen my post where I repaired the hall sensors that came apart for it to fail again. So I replaced the motor. About two weeks later the mid suspension locked out, did this all of its own accord. I replaced that. 250 miles in I had to re tension the spokes on both wheels. The tires are crap … one puncture in it turned out even after asking this shower what make they were they couldn’t tell me. I’ve replaced the tyres out, added Tannus Armour and added a 25ah 52v rear battery giving me a 42ah, 52v trekker. Listen, if I really wanted to do a hatchet job on this bunch of lying charlatans I’d have brought up the fact that they removed me from their Facebook groups very quickly after a battery fire that burned down have a chaps garage had a thread locked then later removed. Sadly for them I screen grabbed everything. So, yes, in less than 200 miles the motor failed.
Oh i so agree, id be happy to get rid of my throttle if it made my bike legal,i just wish the law was stay at the rules of the road speed wise. We kinda are stuck with ebikes that push bikers can over take. There will be no amendment to this shit any time soon
There was a review by the last government finished in April they were looking at upping the motor to 500w and allowing throttles but limited still to 15.5mph. Any news about this is due in September l believe, if it doesnt happen ( the then government wanted it to happen as they could promote cleaner city transport use and probably because there are so many in use modded up and rising in popularity it would be harder to enforce the current laws , Labours always promoting cleaner travel and commute so they should get behind it even more.. But..) then l will register my Fiido C11 City Bike as, an electric moped and get insurance, if any firms are capable of it yet as surely a registration plate will be required ?

UK was part of EU where cycling is very common even inside the Arctic circle (Sweden clears its foot paths and cycle paths of snow first as a sprained wrist costs far more than a bumper). The Dutch tried allowing faster ebikes for a while but crashes went up (30 years ago I could comfortably do over 20mph and crashed fairly frequently. I believe some of them were due to other road users not expecting a cyclist to go so fast). Here in Wales the maximum speed in towns has been reduced to 20mph. With no cycle network worth the name, 20mph, 500W ebikes may be safer as they could ride in the middle of the lane without car drivers being able to overtake legitimately.

I would love to get an ebike, but i'm not wasting upwards of £2k just to have it stolen. I use a bike for shopping and many high streets have NO secure racks. Halfords sell bikes yet have no racks outside....what a joke.

@@keyboardpatriot I think what happens is a lot of companies send out blanket emails to loads of reviewers. Then if enough bigger reviewers reply they don't get back to the smaller ones. That's down to whoever is in charge of their social media team though. I guess we finally got big enough.
