Maverick is one of my favorites at Cedar Point. Hearing that Maverick is more intense than Steel Vengeance and Millie actually makes me feel so much better about riding them. I’m so afraid of heights but it seems like the first hills on both SV and Millie are over as soon as they start 😭
Personally, I've never been to Cedar Point, but it's definitely on my bucket list. I'm in cali, so all I got is SFMM, and the overrated woody coaster at Knotts haha!! Nice video. Really detailed and informative.
What you described has literally been me my entire life until this summer! 😅😅 Cali is great, but making the trip out to Cedar Point was definitely super worth it! Also thank you! 😄
you have the second best coaster lineup in the world with a top tier rmc, only 4d coaster, best flying coaster in america, great woodie, wcr is great as well, full throttle with the insane hangtime, best stand up, best pendulum ride, hidden gem aka viper (super intense now, best batman clone out there, underatted floorless, soon to be wonder wommen as well
I don't understand the love Blue Streak gets. Everyone says Hurler at Carowinds is rough, but Blue Streak is the roughest ride I've ever ridden, and yet Hurler, not to mention with really comfortable seats so the ride doesn't even hurt, gets all of the hate. Blue streaks seats are literally made of concrete and you feel like your getting smashed against a brick wall over and over again by a EF5 tornado
I agree but I also think that Blue Streak’s historical value is something that no other coaster has. It’s really cool that a piece of Cedar Point history is still alive :)
I've always struggled with the stomach dropping feeling on big rollercoasters. Ive been trying to work myself up the ranks ever since I was a kid, little by little. Of course, my naive little 13 year old self took one look at maverick and said "oh, that can't be too bad." Yeaaaahhhh. Thankfully I managed to enjoy it (even went on it 2 more times before the end of the season) but maaaaan was it terrifying. By the 3rd time I rode it, I started to get used to the wacky first drop, but that one airtime hill in the first half of the ride still made me feel like my insides were being pulled out through my belly every single time (I thought that amount of intensity was normal too until I started watching coaster videos). It's been over 5 years since I've ridden it, and I've been able to conquer other coasters since. But I will admit I'm kinda scared to ride this one again despite how much I enjoyed it lmao EDIT: Finally conquered it again after the half decade hiatus!!! It wasn't nearly as scary as I remember it being, but it was still very intense and SUUUUPER fun. The only 3 rides at the park I have left to conquer are Millie, Steve and Valravn. If all of them are below Maverick in intensity, I'm sure I'll be able to get on them by the end of the summer :)
I 100% agree with your #1... we just visited for the last three days and man that ride is my favorite out of any park I've been to.... take a night ride and it makes it even more insane
I might have a different definition of intense, but I definitely think that Top Thrill Dragster is the most intense ride at Cedar Point, just by how unbearably intense that launch is compared to any other element at Cedar Point
5:28 & 11:08 I love it!!! I had to pause the video to stop laughing. Even beyond that, so many times, you said what I've been feeling for years that so many disagree with: Gatekeeper is awesome, it's Immelman is very forceful, Valravn is awesome, it's Immelman is forceful, vest restraints are great--no more headbanging--thoosies are so annoying in their hate of vests, (in your overall rankings) Gatekeeper > Millennium Force, Raptor is not a top tier invert, Rougarou is very good. I think I have a new favorite channel.
5:20 Finally! Someone who doesn't drool all over Great Bear! I honestly never understood the love for Great Bear. Yes, it does have a unique layout. Whoopee. But the ride just dies after that zero g-roll. All that intensity is in the beginning and essentially there's none of it left at the end, save for the corkscrew.
I’m making it a must to visit other parks in the six flags chain and the cedar fair chain because all I have is SFMM and Knotts and I need to reach 50 coasters almost to 20

Sorry for the loud and fuzzy audio quality; my gain knob on my microphone was accidentally turned up way too much my bad :(

i personally found Valravn pretty underwhelming. it wasn’t bad, just aside from the first pullout, it was pretty forceless,
Valravn is just too short of a ride for me to be an elite coaster.
Rode every single one of them today. Was very nervous for the millennium but it honestly wasn’t bad. Would ride over and over again

Wow. I just finished my first day at cedar point and magnum is the first coaster ive ever rode, and it was so fun. My family left...
magnum xl tried to literally kill me so for me it'd rank higher lol
I love the way you make fun of coaster enthusiasts in this video lmao
I haven't been to Cedar Point, but I'm going soon. I love this video, and you channel.
Thank you so much! Enjoy your visit there! :D

yes, most underrated night ride at the park!
Congratulations on BECOMING A MOD BESTIEEEE

Maverick is the coaster that pushed me to get on other coasters. Great video!
Thank you!
Most underrated channel ever! keep it up

Enthusiast hate Valvn. Thankfully the majority of people love it. I enjoy it. Unpopular opinion it’s the 4th best ride in park.

I thought it was fun, but definitely nothing special or extremely cool to talk about lol
The scariest part for me is always the drop
They replaced wicked twister for a wild mouse 😭
I mean at least it’s a nice kitty ride 🤷
I went on the blue streak as my first ever roller coaster and I was in it with my friend in the front row and gosh was i freaking out
Can’t wait to eventually go to this park, def gonna plan it in college or sum
Yeah it's an amazing park!!! I'm sure you'll love it!
loved this.
Thank you!
I can't imagine steel vengeances airtime after I've been on west coast racers. At magic mountain.
you have no idea how much i love you.
Awww thanks 😅
I finally found a man that says:"B&M vest restraints are GREAT". I'm with you man, vests are great✌👍

Does cedar point have more coasters than magic mountain or cedar point does I lowkey wanna know.
