They also use cash back style shops to get second hand pieces. Just because someone has something with a label on, doesn’t mean they aren’t struggling, even they can sometimes afford £2-5 a month pay back schemes & most see it as a way of making their kids feel ‘normal’ on birthdays or christmases because the rest of the year they struggle & likely at time’s go hungry, or without - while their mates get new trainers & clothes. sparkysteve lol you don’t know many people who are hard up then do you?! I grew up around people either working class or on the breadline - some single mums / dads / family’s on benefits, & their house was more kitted out than most. That isn’t the case in all households of course, but most of their stuff is got on (what they refer to) as ‘tick’ - through catalogues, pay monthly schemes, even Argos has a pay monthly scheme now.
That’s a really crap way to judge people.
@@LauraBidingCitizen unfortunately I do know loads of people who are hard up,i have also been hard up myself when i was younger to the point where i sold material possessions to cover Bill's and put food on the table,I'm fortunet to not be in that position now but that is through nothing but hard work and drive to succeed, this girl is far from hard up.
My thoughts exactly. I studied photojournalism. Those lenses are near enough a grand. Let alone the laptop!
I couldn’t afford any of that. I had to rent from the uni stores
