I think what I’d do is just pick something else I can make for the yardage you have , maybe you have enough for a beautiful shawl for example , you might be able to pair it with a yarn to do something that looks completely different to your other projects, and I’d just put the idea of the ranunculus to the side for now, the ranunculus will be there when you do get through those other projects more than likely ❤ unless you reeeaaallly want to do the ranunculus right now x then id send it back start from scratch and re order the stuff the ranunculus. I always weave in my ends as I go because one or two as you go is enjoyable but having loads to do (in my head anyway 😂 makes it a chore ) well done on the fushia sweater and hexi cardi they look fantastic! ❤
Oh the Ranunculus is not at all a priority this year. I am considering keeping the extra and making something else with it as well though. Thank you 💜 I'm very happy with the fuchsia sweater. The cardigan is super cozy but I do need to make a bit of an adjustment but that's a February problem lol!
@ you should see my first hexi cardi 😂 I mean it turned out lovely BUT I was like right , I’m going to do this thing in colours I never reach for because I will take myself out of my comfort zone and rock it . WELL - you know like you were saying with the fushia top that you looked at the colour so long that you’re just like - omg i think i fushia’d myself out , the more I look at it I keep saying to myself - I think you went a bit too much ambitious there … and am now contemplating ripping back the whole completed cardi and maybe making a 6day Betty mc knit blanket out of it and making another in different colours … I don’t know its bubblegum pink and sort of an aqua colour … it really is so bright and lovely but 👀 I would definitely hold onto the yarn if you like it - throw the yardage into the raverly filter and see what pops up because (especially if you have to pay postage a new lovely pattern might cost less and be less effort - am I lazy about these things , probably 🤷♀️ )
Hahaha, I get it. I did already start putting the fuchsia sweater into rotation and I like it a lot so...phew! I did consider the return shipping too because it didn't exactly come out and say how that's handled when you request to do a return. Plus, it was on sale for a really good price. And it's the sort of teal I truly wouldn't mind having two garments in my closet made from.
