That teal entrelac pillow is gonna be fabulous! I want to make one now, but I’m afraid of entrelac😅 Also I’m of the camp that the olive green almost chartreuse variegated looks great with your hair/eye color. You’ve made a lot and I totally understand the grief of frogging UFO’s but it’s always a relief to reclaim the yarn and open the door for new possibilities. This was a fun watch, I love a show and tell!

I'm just not feeling the olive green top and I think it's a combination of boredom with the pattern and feeling meh about the color. Like I don't hate it, but I'm not in love with it and it's a LOT of work to not enjoy it very much.
I remember my mom doing colour me beautiful years ago and looking at you on camera - I know cameras can play tricks but I wouldn’t put your skin in the cool toned category , I would place you in the neutral category (and your skin tone looks to be very similar to hers ) also I’m a qualified beauty therapist and if you look at your wrist and see your veins are not a definite blue but almost a blue/bluey green oftentime that would indicate neutral because you would then have more yellow undertones rather than pink in your skin. I think with colour me beautiful they didn’t really take into account people can really be between in their “seasons” thing to be honest (just my opinion) because you can have someone with cool skin and dark eyes and warm skin with light eyes
Corals , pastels , rose golds , plum purples would look fabulous on you but I’m all up for whatever colour makes u happy and you feel good in it , it will beautiful because it’s the smile that makes it best in the end ❤
It's funny because I never understood the vein color but you nailed it. If I'm ever not sure I just stick to neutral makeup. I do have a plum top I love but I've been fighting to get a grease stain out of it. I also noticed if there's a change to my hair or we tone it a bit different that also changes things. It's a lot.

Frogging party sounds fun......if i was you i would set a goal of finishing like 8 of the keep pile so u dont feel too over whelmed and u can make something else that u want to make cuz if ur like me i have lots of things i want to make and things come up like a friend getting pregnant or something goodluck
I have tons of things to make. I got hit with a baby shower and frankly, she's getting diapers. She is also surrounded by people who knit and crochet, including herself so I do not feel bad.
I haven't tried this, not being a fan of sticky yarns, but I heard that putting it in the freezer for a bit will make it easier to frog.
I literally just saw that somewhere for mohair so I'll give it a try!
I can't help it. I have to ask. You said your grandmother was very left-handed so much so that she crocheted backwards. Do you mean she did left-handed crochet? Right-handed crocheters work right ro left and counter clockwise. Left-handed crocheters work left to right and clockwise. I teach knitting and crochet and and I am very right-handed. But I have taught myself to do both left-handed so that I can teach my students the way that works best for them. I was just curious. I am a Barbie girl or Barbie woman. I am 50. I love the book that you have. That just makes my heart happy. I had a bunch of crocheted and knitted Barbie clothes for my Barbies back in the day.
I haven't studied left handed crochet and I struggled very badly and gave up on learning when I was out of commission. I believe left-to-right counter clockwise but I'll have to sit down and study the stitches. I have a few other of the Barbie leaflets but this was the only kit I came across.

Oh no, not rude at all! I genuinely hadn't thought about it, I just remember being able to mirror her when I was learning. It'll be a fun adventure to figure it out. I really do also want to figure out how to crochet lefty. It's strange because I'm a natural lefty but my mom forced myself and my younger brother to learn to write righty. Transferring writing and yarn crafts to lefty when I was in a cast were literally the worst. Everything else was easy. I don't get it lol...
