Aubrey, thank you for sharing your heart with us. We hurt along with you for the loss of your mother and celebrate with you on hitting that 100 pound weight loss! She would be so proud of how far you've come. I'm lucky in that my mother (who is 85) is still alive although in terrible physical shape with the same problems of heart, diabetes... I chose to do the surgery because although I love her dearly, I didn't want to end up in the same place but was headed there. We made a great choice for our health...for us and our own children

Oh Aubrey, I so relate to wishing my Mom could see me now. They would be so happy for us, living the life we had dreamed about that held us back due to our weight struggle xx I like to think my Mom was part of the process, making sure everything went well for me during the process and it brings me comfort. I get the increased hunger. I went through that phase too, probably right around were you are now. It subsides. Listen to the body - feed it when it needs it and other days you'll feel that restriction back and think, "Yesssss....still got it!"

Oh Aubrey, I do understand the emotional side of this journey. I lost my mom 2.5 years ago, rather unexpectedly, and so many times I have wanted to call her and get her advice and encouragement since I have decided on this weight loss surgery. She knew me better than anyone and would probably be my #1 support. I miss her so much. I was so happy to see a vlog from you today. You probably didn't know this, but yours was the first channel I watched when I started coming here to find the encouragement and support I was lacking.

      Hi Aubrey,
I continue to enjoy your videos before I go to sleep, your voice always brings a lot of calm to me.
I hate my C-PAP, although it is a co- morbidity factor I just hate it. I am looking forward to getting rid of it.
Hearing you talk about your mother makes me sad for you. It made me think of what a great message YOU are passing on to your children regarding health and wellbeing. It's an incredible gift to give them.

Congrats on losing 100 lbs! It's such a milestone! I so understand the mixed emotions you are experiencing as you say good-bye to those items that mark events and times in your life. I so relate to your sharing about your mom. My mom also passed from heart failure. She was never morbidly obese, but did have diabetes. I just made it to goal for the first time in my life...and she passed before i could share that.

Hi Aubrey. So I really enjoyed your video today. So many things you said touched me. Cpap, I know I'm in the process of monthly owning too, but mine is $7000! They really are ridiculous. But what do you do, right? So you're looking great, hang in there, you are making your mom proud of you, believe it!🙂 you have a great week as well!

if you think those CPAPs are expensive to buy, they charge about that much each night each time we have a patient on one at the hospital. I always tell the family to bring theirs from home. It is obscene what medical care costs.

100 pounds is amazing ;) Dinner at Costco? LOL Costco just opened near us, I'll have to check that out. Hugs to you for the loss of your mom and the memories of her that came back as you looked through the clothing.

I'm so sorry about your mom. I lost my mother almost 2 years ago, diabetes, congenital heart failure, COPD. I find myself all the time, thinking, "I should call Mom and tell her I lost 2 more pounds!" On a brighter note, can you tell me where you're selling your clothes?
