Thanks so much for checking in and for sharing your struggles. I am learning quickly how hard this journey truly is and I so appreciate when I hear there are others out there who don't portray it is all roses and rainbows. Love you girl!

Hey girly. Congrats on 6 months!!! You've done amazing!!! You have lost so steadily, I really think the surge of hormones has been cray cray for you, and I really think it is contributing to how you feel. It's almost the same as when a woman has a baby then coming down from the release cause post baby depression. They will level out when your weight loss slows, but until then maybe you need something to counteract it. Also, I think now that you are feeling better and more confident I think it's really normal to explore who you really are and whether or not this job is really what you want to do. Bear in mind though, you're not just an employee. You're a wife, a daughter, a mother, a niece, a friend and so many other things. Work helps us get "things", but the rest is what life is really about!!! It will get better!!! I promise! 💗😘💗😘💗

The mental game is endless. Even if we did not have this weight loss we still have to deal with life and out happiness in it. I just think with the major changes we feel on the outside make us reflect on what's going on in the inside. I have no doubt you will work through it and come out a stronger women! Thanks for the update!

you look fab! Hopefully your feelings are just normal for a person with job anxiety and not weight related. I wish you all the best. Your videos inspire me so please continue them. And if your down feelings continue please get whatever kind of help you need. You really deserve happiness.

The 6 month mark must be where a lot of people start having issues. Whether it's mood, stress, poor habits, you name it...I've got it. I've done things the last two weeks that I would not have done before. I can't stop myself from snacking at night. I feel grumpy all the time. WTH?? I need to snap out of it!! Enough about me, hope you start to find your way again soon. Hoping for a positive update next week❤️!

Oh the mental game of WLS. We all experience it. It ebbs and flows. Damn hormones. I think it's why they say make no changes the first year. I'm with you - I've had to apply the brakes in my life to certain things which is hard because I'm so gung-ho to make these changes because my weight held me back for so many years. I keep thinking, January 2017...you can do it. Year 2 I'll start making changes, but for now, I need to live with the uncomfortable emotions without food as my coping mechanism. Analyzing where I am in my life. Planning what I want to change and HOW I'm going to make it happen. Big hug to you xx

(((Aubrey))) in sorry that you're having such a blue streak right now. Keep processing all of those emotions... It will lead you to where you are meant to be. 💖❤️

I completely understand. Maybe you could find a counselor to help you sort it out? You're doing great! And I really appreciate you sharing your feelings!

In my classes we learned that adipose tissue stores estrogen, when u lose all this weight it's released and ur hormones go crazy. One person at support group said she cried all the time until about 6 months post op. Hang in there, pray and smile. I'm 8 days postoperative RNY and have loved following ur journey.

I don't think it would be unusual to be a little in mourning for the lost Aubrey. You've lost the bigger girl you were and even though you didn't want to live in that body....you did and she was you. Now she's gone. Now when faced with stress and decisions she can't be blamed for your unhappiness. Big life changes, whether good or bad, are usually accompanied with some feelings of loss. But it does get better. Just hang in there and reach out to those that know and understand. Particularly the lord to help you through. He knows you better than you know yourself.

I can completely relate. Just know that the feeling is only temporary and try to take advantage of the new found Aubrey. What is the deep issue causing the "anger"? I found that it was me being angry at the fact that I had become such a hermit that I didn't know who I was at my new healthy weight which I continue to struggle with. Find things that make you happy and do it. I found that I hate sitting at home watching TV. Lol

I think you have had so much change in a short time frame that your brain hasn't mentally caught up to who the new you is physically. With a new thinner you, comes new hopes and dreams that you didn't even think was possible when obese. It can be overwhelming. I think with some more time you will find a new more mentally comfortable place. I wish you luck, and I hope you can keep your spirits up as best you can. God Bless

I know this video is older, and I haven't watched your later ones, but perhaps you are feeling a little Seasonal Affective Disorder. As the days get shorter and we get less sun, we can become depressed. Also, check vitamin D levels as this is all related. Can't wait to watch more!

I think that when you have an eating disorder it takes over your whole life. Once the disorder is under control other issues can come forward. It can be very scary. This may be a good time to look into seeing a therapist that specializes in eating disorders. Just a thought, I hope you don't think this is presumptuous of me to suggest.
