The Ordinary is my favorite brand in the world. I have used and reviewed a few of their products too. I don’t think there is another brand that can make a complete skincare routine for less than $30 over 2 months. It is to the point that I do not even look at other brands and I’m actually suspicious of brands that don’t tell you the molecules or percentages contained in their serums/cream. I’m not spending $50 on mystery cream. Great video btw!

Thank you so much for explaining the process of all of these products! I've heard all of the hype about these products and I'm so eager to try them- but i find it so confusing how many products they have, and which ones are worth my morning, and night skincare routine. I appreciate you! You've earned a subscriber! :)

Retinoids are actually a class of compounds derived from vitamin A so retinol, retinal, or retinoic acid(tretinoin)are all retinoids. Retinol and retinal are more gentler Retinoids compared to a strong Retinoid like tretinoin. Which is why you need to get it prescribed from a dermatologist. Retinoids can be confusing tho so I don’t blame you😂 The video was really cool btw👌
🚨 🚨 🚨 I haven’t watched this video but I’ve seen other videos where ppl talk about their favs and the azelaic acid wasn’t in there... I just wanna say I have had a literal patch on the left side of my face of black heads that I could not get to come out no matter how hard i tried! I don’t put the acid all over, I just started putting it on the area I had blackheads (also the left side of my forehead/temple) and about a week ago (~3 weeks after use) I look in the mirror and the blackheads except maybe 1 or 2 are completely gone! Anyone with a similar issue may wanna give it a shot.

For anyone using The ordinarys vitamin c and their nicinamide + zinc, the company has said that the way that they formulate those particular products doesn’t mix well for the skin! A lot of people have used both and not known, and their skin has become irritated! Just proceed with caution!
I had used those two together for a while and over time it broke down my skins barrier. I ended up with a huge problem of red painful rashy swollen skin that I had to ice for a week. I’m 99% sure this is the combo that did it. It’s taken around a year to get my skin barrier back up it was red and had eczema-like patches for months. My skin would peel off every few hours. I used makeup to cover the redness and every couple hours new patches would lift at the corners and I’d have to remove all the flakes with tweezers and reconceal. Even the gentlest products would make my skin absolutely burn I had to resort to only using cera ve (even that burned at first) and pat it in- even the slightest rubbing motion would feel like fire!! Beware of extreme irritation over time with these you may not notice at first it took 3 or more months before my skin freaked out. Just a psa because it was an absolute nightmare
Yeah, for anyone who sees this do not use niacinamide and vitamin c together. Use one at night and the other in the morning or alternate nights. A bunch of these products are not meant to be used together, please google interaction rules (or read their website) before just slobbing things on your face. And wear your sun screen everyday, even indoors.

Their hyaluronic acid serum changed my life! I put it on damp skin & think anyone who doesn’t like it is prob putting it on dry skin. I had flaky dry skin before. The first week I could feel my face being plumper & smoother when i wash it. And oils can be used before moisturizing. I always heard that & now they’re saying it doesn’t matter. These oils looks so much better under moisturizer. The squalane oil is awesome.

Be careful! Its ALOT of acid if you are thinking of using all these products into your routine. Personally I wouldn't recommend that! Less is more! You may try to find a skincare routine that works for your skin. And dont forget to use sunscreen, it's a must when using these kind of products. Good luck ;)

Hey, i need help. I also random active breakouts, acne scars, and bad texture. I have done lots of research but idk what exactly i should use, what works together and in what order to use. Can you please help?
This is so much later than your comment but I have spent a lot of time on my skin & I’m not a professional but I always help my friends/family with their routines I would need a little bit more info to get a precise routine down like your skin type for example but here’s a simple one if your still searching If you are breaking out normally, you might want to try just a simple skincare routine bc sometimes too many products or too strong of products worsen it so here’s this & this addresses constant breaking out, acne prone skin, scarring, texture Also just a side note, your diet and of course hormones play a role in acne significantly so do try to make adjustments to what your eating bc you never know how much that can help! (: (maybe barely it will have an affect but who knows, it’s worth making small changes anyways for overall health) Morning & night: Simple micellar gel wash Pat face dry Niacinamide the ordinary Moisturize (choose the one below that’s best for your skin type) Twice a week, spaced out: AHA/BHA the ordinary Wear SPF for scars if living in sunny climate To remove makeup if you wear it: micellar water Now for moisturizer, here are the options for whatever skin type you are: Dry skin- CERAVE moisturizing CREAM Combo/normal skin- CERAVE moisturizing LOTION Oily skin- versed dew point gel cream Now after you use this skincare routine for a MONTH, try bringing in the renewing salicylic acid cerave cleanser ^this could irritate your skin at FIRST or not at all (again depends on your skin type really) so introduce it slowly into your routine But is very good @ preventing breakouts See how your skin reacts and if it fine and even helps after a MONTH of trying then you can use it as you wish either every night, every day or twice a day, everyday whatever your skin likes the best!! Hope this helps !!
My in depth skincare routine (night) So first think I do is put the Neutrogena oil cleanser on a cotton round to remove my makeup. Next I go in with the CereVe foaming facial cleanser. After that (once every week) I go in with the ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% peeling solution and I wait 10 minutes then I take it off. After that I go in with a which hazel (not the brand which hazel another thing) toner on a cotton round. Then I use the lactic acid 10% + HA from the ordinary. Then the Niacinamide 10% and zinc 1%. After that I go in with the CereVe Dailey moisturizer. Then I put on the Aveeno eye cream. And lastly I put on the clean and clear drying lotion as a spot treatment. Ok so I know some of these are not Hyram approved but honestly all of these things helped my skin so much. Also wanted to add that every few days I go in with either the CereVe SA cleanser or the PanyOxyl cream cleanser. 😁
I've seen lots of reviews of the ordinary, and this is by far the best! You're so calming and informative I love your videos! I do wonder though, what is your natural skin type? I feel like that's important in trying to figure out how these products will work for me :)

Hi i use mostly drunk elephant nyte serum, virg facial oil , lelo & hydra b .. so what product would u recommend with pigmentations , i have dry skin & how would i use the ordinary with my skincare regime?? Tnx

I have T zones very oily, acne-prone skin, stains left by old facial cleansing, and having comedones. I would like to know in what order should I apply above mentioned ordinary products and what would be an example of a regimen for AM and PM Routine with these products?
Thanks for your help and recommendation in advance
Can I use the Granactive retinoid 2% emulsion with the buffet? I've read that is better to use them night, as you said too, but I also have purchased L'Oréal retinol 24 night hydrating cream. Should I use them all three at the same time for night routine?
Hi! I have combination skin, more on the oily side, and my skin is kind of sensitive. I have pimples, and blemishes from acne. I also use Trenton cream 2 times a week so I’m not sure which product I can use with that? Which one do you think I should get?
Ditch dairy. Niacinamide works best for me. Glycolic Acid once a week. Avoid sun exposure next day or wait till the fall, otherwise you'll hurt your skin. Remember, everything first starts on the inside. Keep your face clean and don't touch it. Wear sunscreen daily.

legit bought every product! this was a super helpful review! thank you!
Be careful! Its ALOT of acid if you are thinking of using all these products into your routine. Personally I wouldn't recommend that! Less is more! You may try to find a skincare routine that works for your skin. And dont forget to use sunscreen, it's a must when using these kind of products. Good luck ;)
@@zirpa1 which product should I use to get rid of a bunch of these tiny little pimples on my forehead that never go away?
@@cameronsowell862 Try this routine and use Ordinary products. 1. Moisturizer (morning and night) 2.Cleanser (morning and night) 3. Toner (at night time before going to bed and finnish up with a moisturizer) 4. Blood mask once a week. 5. Use sunscreen daily. Also drink water regularly, exercise aswell.Try this for six months and I'm sure you will see a HUGE difference
@@zirpa1 do I use the toner everyday? And I use the moisturizer before the cleanser?
@@cameronsowell862 Ordinarys toner you can use every day at night time before going to bed. In the morning you use the cleanser first and then moisturizer and then a sunscreen. At night time you use the cleanser and then the moisturizer. No need for sunscreen when you are going to bed at night. 😊
Do I use the Niacinamide before my moisturizer and then sunscreen? What’s the order to apply it?
So far the best layering suggestion... thanks for that..
dermatologist says there's no proven test that you should layer from thinnest to thickest, it'll work either way and they will all blend on your face anyway
Thank you! I just found the Ordinary and I LOVE everything I've tried.
I have been using a single ingredient at a time, up until I found this product line.
I want to know what I'm using!!
This vid is a priceless resource for those of us learning.
Thanks, again ❤️
I don't have acne but I want my skin to glow. Which serum would you recommend?
Hey, i need help. I also random active breakouts, acne scars, and bad texture. I have done lots of research but idk what exactly i should use, what works together and in what order to use.
Can you please help?
This is so much later than your comment but I have spent a lot of time on my skin & I’m not a professional but I always help my friends/family with their routines
I would need a little bit more info to get a precise routine down like your skin type for example but here’s a simple one if your still searching
If you are breaking out normally, you might want to try just a simple skincare routine bc sometimes too many products or too strong of products worsen it so here’s this & this addresses constant breaking out, acne prone skin, scarring, texture
Also just a side note, your diet and of course hormones play a role in acne significantly so do try to make adjustments to what your eating bc you never know how much that can help! (: (maybe barely it will have an affect but who knows, it’s worth making small changes anyways for overall health)
Morning & night:
Simple micellar gel wash
Pat face dry
Niacinamide the ordinary
Moisturize (choose the one below that’s best for your skin type)
Twice a week, spaced out:
AHA/BHA the ordinary
Wear SPF for scars if living in sunny climate
To remove makeup if you wear it: micellar water
Now for moisturizer, here are the options for whatever skin type you are:
Dry skin- CERAVE moisturizing CREAM
Combo/normal skin- CERAVE moisturizing LOTION
Oily skin- versed dew point gel cream
Now after you use this skincare routine for a MONTH, try bringing in the renewing salicylic acid cerave cleanser
^this could irritate your skin at FIRST or not at all (again depends on your skin type really) so introduce it slowly into your routine
But is very good @ preventing breakouts
See how your skin reacts and if it fine and even helps after a MONTH of trying then you can use it as you wish either every night, every day or twice a day, everyday whatever your skin likes the best!!
Hope this helps !!
You could just go to the Deciem website and take a “quiz” and they will email you with a full skincare routine

Thank you for so much knowledge about ordinary.
My in depth skincare routine (night)
So first think I do is put the Neutrogena oil cleanser on a cotton round to remove my makeup.

Can you tell how many days or month it took to fade all your hyperpigmentation? I also have blemishes, dark spots and what not😐😔

I have T zones very oily, acne-prone skin, stains left by old facial cleansing, and having comedones. I would like to know in what order should I apply above mentioned ordinary products and what would be an example of a regimen for AM and PM Routine with these products?

Wooo we have the same name 😛 love to see it. Also LOVE the ordinary as an Esthetician 💕
Can you use the Glycolic acid toner, then the Buffet..then the Niacinimide with Zinc?
Can I use the Granactive retinoid 2% emulsion with the buffet?
I've read that is better to use them night, as you said too, but I also have purchased L'Oréal retinol 24 night hydrating cream. Should I use them all three at the same time for night routine?
This video is amazing love it x
Is the niacinamide with zinc suitable for acne rosacea?
Hello, I used to have a lot of back acne (mostly dried out and lot of acne scars, one or two active) and was wondering if I can use glycolic acid toner on my back after my shower. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks!
