Great list. I love these combos ! I would add Retinol + Azelaic Acid. I do use : Ascorbic Acid + Resveratrol/Ferulic Acid in the morning Lactic Acid + Amino Acids + Hyaluronic Acid in the morning right after Vitamin C Buffet + Argireline in the morning, Buffet Copper Peptide + Argireline at night Niacinamide (I actually prefer Hylamide Pore Control) + Alpha Arbutin + Retinol at night. And I feel Mandelic + Niacinamide is also a great combo against acne.
Peptides and ceramides should be apllied on clean skin. Peptides and ceramides should not be applied with the same skin routine with any acids, retinol or vit c serums as it wont work together.
Retinol + niacinamide pairing really works. I've used the niacinamide first and it took me atleast a month before seeing some changes in my super acne prone skin. When I got severe acne again this month, used the retinol + niacinamide pairing and it only took 2 weeks to see changes and my acnes are already healing ❤️
Make sure to add a benzoyl peroxide cleanser. It kills acne causing bacteria in the pores and was a massive game changer for me and my cystic acne! Cheers
I add Niacinamide into my skincare as it's also good at reducing redness which I have. Reducing pore size by adding elasticity to the skin. Niacinamide has also been shown to reverse and repair damaged skin cells caused by the UV rays from the sun. So many wonderful benefits.
@@sdiadiane2327 Yes, I do, in the order of the recommended products in the above video. After cleansing/washing my face with Gatineau - Thérapie Pureté Mineraux Marins Micellar Milk followed by ttoning with Gatineau - Thérapie Pureté Mineraux Marins Hydrating Toner.
You can use them morning and/or night! I would apply Pycnogenol first then Resveratrol or you can mix a few drops of Pycnogenol into your moisturizer and apply it on top of Resveratrol.
Just got my first order today. I have watched a lot of these ordinary videos, prior to ordering. You really give the best guidance, Thank you your skin is beautiful
This is a great video. I have ordered the following but I was hoping for a guide as to which order to use them in and if there are some of these you would recommend for day but not night and vice versa Niacinamide 10% + zinc Granactive Retinol 2% Emilsion AHA 30% + BHA 2% peeling solution Matrixyl 10% + HA Argireline solution 10% Hyaluronic acid 2% + B5 Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG
I love the Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion and I kinda landed on using the multi-peptide + copper and the aloe + NAG during the day. No moisturizer unless it gets cold out and it’s absolutely needed, but most of the time, the aloe does the job no problem. This night and day routine has been the best and most complete option I’ve run into. I can use the granactive emulsion every night without any irritation, so my routine doesn’t become complicated by using some retinoid that’s really strong that I may possibly only be able to use 2-3 times per week. The peptide and aloe serums are effective and work to support the desired results that compliment the retinoid. I love The Ordinary products. Their products also look good on a guy’s bathroom counter, if that’s ever been a concern. Some of these other products are so colorful and just not necessary for us guys. YMMV, however.
Currently using buffet and copper peptides. About to start using argireline with retinal. When the buffet and copper peptides is done, got some normal buffet - will definitely be using argireline with it 👍
Hi, I know you have video on product and application process which I did watch before. But I would love to have more clarification on when you use each paring. ie: am or pm , everyday or not . Thank you in advance. 😊
Thank you for the informative video. When pairing the Resveratrol 3+ Ferulic acid 3 with the ascorbic acid 8%+ alpha arbutin 2%, which one do you apply first?
Thanks so much for this video. I just started using the ordinary. I have super sensitive skin and switched to clean a few years ago and I haven’t had any reactions so I had been afraid to try anything new, I started with the argeraline (sp.) this week and so far no reaction. I now want literally everything they carry. ❤️❤️❤️
Brilliant video ! Ever since I introduced Resveratol 3% Ferulic acid 3% which I learnt about from one of youre previous videos😊 my skin has been much brighter . It is so useful to know what products can be mixed . You’re knowledge base on skincare is incredible . Thankyou xx
Thank you.... Thank you!! Amazing info. I love all your videos 💕. I have used many of your The Ordinary pairings and suggestions and getting great results! Texture, hyperpigmentation and fine lines are slowly going bye bye. 😁
So how often, which times, day or night? Do you use all of these together? Alternate? Or a different pairing every day, or? Great pairings but a little confused. Thank you so much. I have so many of the ordinarys products. I’m almost 48 and this has totally confused me lol
Thanks for all explaining, for 70 years old, what is the best combination? I use retinol ,hyaluronic acid + moisturising and caffeine for the eyes . Can you suggest me something else ? Thanks a lot
please can you do a video advising when to use these product pairings please am or pm? i am confused whether i should use them in the mornings or night. thank you xx
Wow!!! You are amazing!!! Thanks!!! I do a lot of the pairing that you suggest....but it's nice to know that I am doing it right!!! I would like to know ...you say that you switch your routine and other products. .can you please....give us some info on how you do that....and what else you use in stead and why! Thanks a million for being so on point on skin care...love your makeup videos too!!!! Love from Montreal 💖💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you so much 🤗 When I am switching out my skincare products I usually use the same types of products but using other brands/formulas. I test out a lot of skincare so I find I need to do this to test products out before reviewing them but by also doing this I find my skin performs better as I am constantly switching up my skincare but I am also using the same types of products if that makes sense?.. For example: If I am using The Ordinary Niacinamide I will switch to The Inkey List Niacinamide or if I am using The Ordinary Retinol on my neck I may switch to the Paula's Choice Retinol for my neck etc... I hope this makes sense? lol!
Hi I want to start using the ordinary. How would you suggest layering products and which products are best for anti aging , hyperpigmentation, acne, and dark spots???
SOO excited … I’m in Mississauga this weekend and stopped at the DECIEM store @ Square One !! I had my list of all the products your recommended from DECIEM and TO and bought it all 😁😁 Another customer asked me if I had used the multi-peptide hair serum before and was happy to tell her no but that my favourite Canadian RUclipsr did and I swear by her ❤️ so she took a box on “our” recommendation lol Thank you so much for doing what you do ;) Now I want a DECIEM store in Ottawa !!
How sweet are you!? Love that you were able to make it to the DECIEM store and also LOVE that you recommended the hair density serum to the other customer🥰 Thank you so much and I REALLY HOPE Ottawa get's a DECIEM store 🙏🏻

Fantastic video and I have all of these! Quick question, do you use the Amino acid B5 before Lactic acid? That is what I do. My skin has improved so much, a huge thank you!!!
Amazing video♥️ thank you for the info. I have been using ordinary products since last year but haven’t tried most of the pairing you suggested in the video. I will definitely try them😊
Hi Ashley! Because of you I am.....The Ordinary freak😝 IT WORKS!! I have faithfully used The Ordinary for over 3 years now and I constantly get compliments on my skin at 65 years. I use tretinoin but in the winter months I can only use it 3 times a week or my folds and chin are SO red and dry! Would it be wise to use one of the retinol from The Ordinary on the nites I don't use my tretinoin? My skin is used to tretinoin being I have used it for years. The retinol in The Ordinary is the one product I never have used only becuz I use prescription tretinoin. Which one of The Ordinary retinols would be best for the aging driest skin? Thanks Ashley XO, Vegas🥰
Hey!! LOVE IT! That makes me so happy to hear ❤️ You could totally use retinol on the nights you don't use Tretinoin and the one from the Ordinary is quite nice especially the Retinol 1% in Squalane. Squalane is very moisturizing so that would probably be the one I would try 😉
Is it ok to use Buffet, Niacinamide , Amino Acid and Hyaluronic Acid in the morning? I’m used to applying Buffet and Niacinamide in the mornings but after watching your video, I purchased Amino Acid and Hyaluronic Acid as well as Pycnogenol and Resveratrol. Can I use the Pycnogenol and Resveratrol in the PM? Please help me out .
Hi Ashley-Happy Birthday! Hope you have a terrific day today. I asked a question a couple of weeks ago but forgot to ask one more. I know you use Tret but you only use Retinol on your neck? Or do you switch between and Tret on your face as well? I use Tret 4-5 nights a week. It has not bothered my neck. I have been using it since December slowly. Thank you :)
Thank you so so much❤️ I use Tretinoin on my face and Retinol on my neck. I wish I could use Tretinoin on my neck but my neck can't handle it unfortunately. If you can use Tret on your neck that is truly amazing 👍🏻
Hello Ash i just watched your video and it is very hepful with all the info you give for the Ordinairy Pairings.I am about to start that brand, recently 33 years old, and Iike to use the buffet with copper and hyalouronic +B5 and one antioxidant moisturiser.those 2, the buffet and hyalouronic is ok to pair? and an antioxidant for during daytime in the end.
Hi Sincerely Miss Ash Thank you for this very informative video. Below is my skincare routine AM and PM. I am in my 40s, have combination and deep acne scarring. I have started using the Ordinary products but I also do dermaplaning. I have already seen a huge improvement in my skin. Please advise how you would use the below and if you would make any changes? Please also recommend a good eye serum/oil/cream Day Routine 1. Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 (AM and PM) 2. Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (AM and PM) 3. Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA - 100ml (AM and PM) 4. Sunblock Night Routine 1.Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution (PM) 2. Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 (AM and PM) 3. Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (AM and PM) 4. Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane (once a week at the moment as I only just received it) 5. Plant based squalene 6. Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA - 100ml (AM and PM) Thank you. :-)
Your morning routine looks great!!! For your p.m. routine, the layering is on point but if you are not noticing any dryness and irritation with this routine then continue with it but using Glycolic Acid and a Retinoid together can be a harsh pairing and could cause irritation. If you notice this then use the glycolic acid on the nights you don't use the Retinoid.
@@SincerelyMissAsh thank you for your advise. Please advise which if you would recommend that I use an eye serum/oil/cream, if so which 1 would you suggest and would you recommend I use Vit c as well (which 1). Thank you and Kind Regards
Hi Ash, just bought ordinary, hyaluronic acid2%, vitC 23% +HA, 100% Organic Cold Pressed hip seed oil,Retinol0.5% in Squalane, buffet, Niacimide+ Zinc 1%, caffeine solution5% and natural moisturizer. Please guide me which one to use AM and PM and good pairing. Love your videos..
I will generally always recommend applying products one after the other. Pycnogenol and moisturizer is one pairing that I love mixing together in the palm of my hand but everything else is applied individually.
Hi Ash, I am new to your channel and I have recently been using Ordinary products and love them. I would like to know which ones to use together. I use Marine Hyalauronics and EUK 134, niacinamide 10% Zinc and Buffet or Matrixyl, I also use the Argireline plus the lotion and the cleanser from Ordinary. I do use prescription Retin-A so I want to know if I should use these before my Retin- A in the evening and how should I pair these? Can they be done all at once in the Palm?
I am on my second use (first bottle) of reservatrol 3% and ferulic acid 3% and use it with Hyaluronic acid 2% +B5. What is the best vitamin C to pair it with (I want to not use Hyaluronic acid and replace it with vitamin C instead for morning?) And what can I use at night for brightening and for hyperpigmentation? What would you recommend?
Thank for this video very informative on the ordinary products how to use them together this helps. I have couple ordinary products slowly working into my skin care learning how use them into my skin whe layer the serums how long do I need to wait before paring 2nd skin care at same time or do I need to it dry then add my 2nd serum
Thank you so much for this video! Just found you channel and I love it! Can I can use the Buffet serum with the The Ordinary Amino Acids + B5? I love the Buffet and I would like to mix it with something else. I have dry skin but my pores are getting bigger on the T-Zone and I am trying to find some solutions. Thank you so much!
Hi Ashley-do you use chemical peels? Your skin is so smooth and clear. I am trying to tackle my hyperpigmentation and you need so much patience. I just started chemical peels in December. I also use IS Clinical brightening serum and Calecim pigment solution. I started these in November. It just takes so long to start noticing changes
Hey! I will sometimes use Lactic Acid 1-2 times a week or Azelaic Acid... It definitely takes time and patience is key for sure but Tretinoin will help as well. I am sure you wear sunscreen on a daily but that is also very important to prevent the areas from getting more prominent and from developing more.
I am at that point where I am about to give up on skincare. I am so frustrated with my skin. I have been struggling with acne for 15+years and still have sever acne at 30. It’s so frustrating I use all of the products you mentioned I just don’t use them all at once because it’s just way too many products and I need to cut down and a lot of them them. I am not sure what to keep and what not.
Have you ever tried your nutrition? So many people recommend products for topical, but I believe acne is internal. I have struggled myself with acne, but now my skin is good.
I have watched so many of your videos and its been so helpful! I love how you explain everything so well! I do have a question though cause I don't really get how or in what order to use so many products, like if I want to use the Hyaluronic Acid( cause that's the liquid gold haha) + amino acid and also the matrixyl 10% and the vitamin c ascorbyl solution 20 % in vitamin F all the TO products how should I use them, in what order? Im also gonna use the retinoids 2 % at night starting just 1 night a week and of course the moisturiser and cleanser. I would be so grateful if you could clear that up for me cause I know squad about skincare haha Thank YOU!!! much love to you
Hello! I've always used a moisturizer at bedtime and that's it, but I think I need to start taking care of myself a little better now. Could you please advise me on the routine to follow? I'm new to this and I don't understand anything, I don't know how to do it. Thanks in advance and blessings!
I just started Tretinoin .025% last week and in 2 months ill be incorporating timeless VitC/E/ferulic. What would be a better serum combination for me to use along with my Tretinoin and VitC ? Should I get 1) Buffet w/HA + Argireline Solution or 2) Hyaluronic Acid + Amino Acid or 3) Use all 4 of them? (Buffet+Argireline+Hyaluronic+AminoAcid)?
Tretinoin is great paired with any one of those Ordinary Serums but if you find your skin gets dry and irritated then I would use Amino Acids with it. If your skin is fine and you would like to incorporate Buffet with Tretinoin I would do that along with amino acids. Vitamin C is great with Hyaluroinc Acid and/or amino acids for the morning routine.
@@SincerelyMissAsh Thanks! So I should use all 4 of them right? in my AM routine, i will do Vitamin C with Hyaluronic and Amino acids and for my PM routine, I should do my Tretinoin with Buffet and amino acids again? (or do i only use amino acids either AM or PM?). Do i not use argireline anymore?
Hey Miss Ash, my name is Kaila, I share this RUclips with my fiance hence the profile pic lol. Anyway I am a brand new subscriber to your channel and I absolutely love watching your videos, they are extremely helpful and have taught me a lot about skincare that I never knew before. With that being said, I have a question if anyone is willing to help me. If I state the 7 ordinary products I just ordered would someone tell me what regimens go together or if I should do certain ones every other day and which ones I should do am verses pm or which ones are ok to do both am and pm? I'm 36 and just want less lines and wrinkles and pretty dewy/glowy/glassy skin if possible! 🥰 Here are the ones I just purchased: 1. The Buffet w/out copper 2. Matrixl 10% + HA 3. Argireline Solution 10% 4. Retinol .5 in squalene 5. Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% 6. Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% 7. Amino Acids + B5 I really hope to hear from someone soon! God bless, Kaila ❤️
Thank you for your videos, very helpful espacially with the ordinary because they have so much products. I ve been using it for at least a year but… no results so far ..☹️. Don’t expect miracles but it’s still a bit frustrating ( cannot use retinol, vit C, lactic acid .. that may be the problem ??!)
You are so welcome and happy to hear my videos are helpful🤗 Unfortunately not all brands will work for everyone... Although Vitamin C, Retinol/Retinoids are great anti-aging products so is using Sunscreen everyday and also using peptides. You may want to have a peptide routine as this is also great for anti-aging!
New sub here.. I just started using The Ordinary products with a positive results.. Can you pls guide me the order of application as I want to incorporate other 'TO' serum on my AM PM routine.. AM -Hyaluronic Acid -Buffet Multi Tech Peptide Serum -Niacinamide 10%+ Zinc 1% PM -Niacinamide 10%+ Zinc 1% -Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion -Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA -Alezaic Acid Suspension 10% Thanks. Very informative videos 😘😘😘
Hey! For someone pairing The Ordinary's Niacinamide and The Ordinary Retinol 0.5 & in squalane, what is the correct order one should follow? Should Niacinamide go first or retinol?
Please guide me about how to pair Niacinamide 10%+zinc 1%, ascorbic acid 8%+alpha arbutin 2% and Retinol .5% in squalene all from The Ordinary in my am-pm skin care routine.
Can you plz advise me the best Using option. I have purchased three products for my wife from Ordinary 1. Glycolic Acid 7% 2.Acid Hyaluronique 2%+B5 3. Ascorbic Acid 8%,Alpha Arbutin 2%,
Hi Ashley, I bought 5 of these products the other day and started combining them. I have other products that I use and I try to keep things minimal. Do you combine these and switch off every other day or so? I was curious how you use the lactic acid. I have normal skin. I used it the past 2 nights on my hands with my moisturizer. Wow! Amazing tip. Curious when you use it on your face. Is it in your video titled "The ordinary skincare routine for Anti aging?"
Hey! I don't use all of these pairings on an everyday basis. I DO use Vitamin C and Resveratrol + Ferulic every single morning though. Happy to hear you are enjoying that tip with using lactic acid in your hand cream. It works amazing!!! I use Lactic Acid at night 1-2 times a week. The Ordinary skincare routine video that I share the lactic acid in is the P.M. Dry Skin routine... Here is the link to it ruclips.net/video/hG5bxg_whzE/видео.html
@@SincerelyMissAsh I just watched TO evening routine. Obviously you love TO. I see there are a lot of videos with this line. Have you been using this line for awhile? The video was very helpful. Thank you 💞
Can you do these pairing every morning and night. Or should I do certain ones in the morning and the others at night. If I want lot do the vitamin C and the resveratrol3percant acids ferulique3 what is safe to do with it
Hi! I’m confused about how the ‘pairing’ works exactly - is it one in the AM and one in the PM or alternate days or literally use them together at the same time? 😅
Hi. Ive been using THE ORDINARY PRODUCTS. Am routine hyaluronic - niacinamide-moisturizer- spf 50 Night time hyaluronic- salicylic-eye cream- moisturizer. But i want to add aplha arbutin to my routine but i dont know how. I suffered acne since i started using retinoid so i stop it. Pls help
Do any of these pill underneath sunscreen or makeup? I was just thinking about what I can or shouldn’t mix - forever we heard don’t mix vitamin C and niacinamide, but I’ve heard the opposite. I know you shouldn’t mix retinol with something like AHA, but I get the 3 A’s mixed up - argileline, azelaic acid, and alpha arbutin as far as what goes with what and what they’re for.
I am starting a skin care routine (at 52) and bought these products to use in an AM and PM routine but I’m embarrassed to say I’m not sure exactly how and in what order to use these. All TO products. Vit C serum 20% AHA/BHA Niacinamide 10% + zinc Lactic A 10% + HA HA 2% + B5 Buffet (no copper peptides) Argireline Resveratol Rose Hip oil Is that too much? I have fine lines, beginning wrinkles, reg to oily t zone. Cerave cleanser and moisturizer lotion and cream. Is that good? And in what order for each day? Thank you so much for any help!
Hello Lisa. I am a skincare addict when i reached my 40’s. I’m now 50yrs old. My morning routine are: Cleanser, aha/bha or my essence, vitamin c with ferulic, moisturizer and sunscreen. My evening routine: Cleanser, niacinamide, buffet then moisturizer. I used retinol twice a week in the evening only. But if i use retinol i will not use the buffet. Thats it for me😍hope this helps…
@@graceuy231 Hello Grace! I've always used a moisturizer at bedtime and that's it, but I think I need to start taking care of myself a little better now. Could you please advise me on the routine to follow? I'm new to this and I don't understand anything, I don't know how to do it. Another question, why don't you use retinol and buffet together in the same routine? Shouldn't they be used together? Thanks in advance and blessings!
Thank you!! It depends on what vitamin c you are using. If you’re using a derivative then you could but if it’s a pure form like L-Ascorbic Acid I wouldn’t use the two together as this can lead to possible irritation and could make both products less effective on the skin.
I would like to know if you apply all of these products at once or do you use some in the morning, some at night, or maybe not every product every day. As much as I like your video I am confused as to what to use when and in which order, please clarify, much appreciated, thank you
No I don't use all of these products together. I will use certain pairings in my morning and evening routine and sometimes I will use a pairing once a week. It just depends. I have a lot of Ordinary skincare routine videos based on skin type/concern and I show the proper order and method of application. I think you will find those videos helpful.
I just started using the ordinary line, however, I have used the AHA peel many times. I had an allergic reaction to a retanol cream years ago so what can I use with the niacinamide instead?
Forgive me for this question. Are these products ONLY used on the Face. Any recommendations on other products that work effectively on the body, with serious hypopigmentation from atopic eczema. African woman seeking her glow back and complexion on entire body. Please share😭😭
Good day can i use the ordinary salicylic acid and the ordinary ascorbic acid+alpha arbutin and hyaluronic acid and azelaic acid in the morning thank u
Hello, thank you for this incredible video. I am new to skin care, but I need something affordable like Ordinary brand. I have a couple questions? 10 Can I use Hyaluronic acid 2% +B5 and Amino Acids+B5 with : Retinol Squalane, Niacinamide, Alpha Arbutin, Resveratrol 3%, Vitamin C, Buffet+HA 30 ml and Argireline? Thank you very much. I love te way you speake. You have an excellent diction. You know how to explain things and where to pause. I already gave you a like 👍 and subscribed to your channel.
Can you tell me what the correctly order to put the serum? I am using Eye serum of ordinary I don't know when I will put it in order morning and evening Morning I am using Hyaluronics acids Buffet+ copper peptide Evening I am using Retinol Resveratrol I don't know which order I will put my eye serum..
I wouldn't recommend using Vitamin C in that routine as using Vitamin C and Retinol together can be a harsh pairing. Use the Vitamin C in the morning and the other 3 products at night.
Hi, I am currently using Barbor and Dermalogica i have very sensitive skin will I be able to use some of these ordinary products in conjunction with my products?
Great list. I love these combos !
I would add Retinol + Azelaic Acid.
I do use :
Ascorbic Acid + Resveratrol/Ferulic Acid in the morning
Lactic Acid + Amino Acids + Hyaluronic Acid in the morning right after Vitamin C
Buffet + Argireline in the morning, Buffet Copper Peptide + Argireline at night
Niacinamide (I actually prefer Hylamide Pore Control) + Alpha Arbutin + Retinol at night.
And I feel Mandelic + Niacinamide is also a great combo against acne.
Love this! Thanks for sharing🤗
Peptides and ceramides should be apllied on clean skin.
Peptides and ceramides should not be applied with the same skin routine with any acids, retinol or vit c serums as it wont work together.
Ive kinda read somewhere that you shouldnt mix Copper with Retinol....
@@MAnitaMaj oh nice to know, so that means the buffet cant be used with tretinoin and VitC right since it is a mixture of peptides? thanks
I wonder if niacinamide can be paired with tretinoin
@@jasonbig1353it can. Just don’t apply nicinimide and salycillic acid in the same routine

How many drops and how long between application of the 2nd product

I add Niacinamide into my skincare as it's also good at reducing redness which I have. Reducing pore size by adding elasticity to the skin. Niacinamide has also been shown to reverse and repair damaged skin cells caused by the UV rays from the sun. So many wonderful benefits.

Just got my first order today. I have watched a lot of these ordinary videos, prior to ordering. You really give the best guidance, Thank you your skin is beautiful
Aw thank you so much.. That means a lot 🥰🥰
This is a great video.
I have ordered the following but I was hoping for a guide as to which order to use them in and if there are some of these you would recommend for day but not night and vice versa
Niacinamide 10% + zinc
Granactive Retinol 2% Emilsion
AHA 30% + BHA 2% peeling solution
Matrixyl 10% + HA
Argireline solution 10%
Hyaluronic acid 2% + B5
Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG

I just ordered like 7 different items. Super excited. Your skin looks amazing!! I am 46 and feeling "old and dehydrated" lol
Hello twinnie! I’m 46 too 😊 i feel like i need a Phd to use all these products!! 😅
I’ve been doing many of these pairings and I completely agree with you. Love these products SO MUCH
That is amazing 🙋🏼♀️🤗

Brilliant video ! Ever since I introduced Resveratol 3% Ferulic acid 3% which I learnt about from one of youre previous videos😊 my skin has been much brighter . It is so useful to know what products can be mixed . You’re knowledge base on skincare is incredible . Thankyou xx
Thanks so much and I am so happy to hear that ☺️
Thank you 🙏 this was helpful. I am a beginner ordinary user. I have mature skin and I’m just starting out.
I am so happy you found this video helpful ☺️
Great video Miss Ash. I love using The Ordinary and will try these pairings. Thank you for sharing
You are so welcome! Let me know how these work for you ☺️
Thank you.... Thank you!! Amazing info. I love all your videos 💕. I have used many of your The Ordinary pairings and suggestions and getting great results! Texture, hyperpigmentation and fine lines are slowly going bye bye. 😁
You are so welcome girl 🥰 I love hearing that!!!!
I'm so happy that I saw your videos before I give up from the Ordinary product become of miss understanding your way.
Thanks a lot
You are so welcome!
So how often, which times, day or night? Do you use all of these together? Alternate? Or a different pairing every day, or? Great pairings but a little confused. Thank you so much. I have so many of the ordinarys products. I’m almost 48 and this has totally confused me lol
Love your channel Miss Ash! Just found these and I am a big fan of The Ordinary products after trying and searching for decades.
Thanks for all explaining, for 70 years old, what is the best combination? I use retinol ,hyaluronic acid + moisturising and caffeine for the eyes . Can you suggest me something else ? Thanks a lot
Thank you so much for such fantastic video! Can I mix the two products together or would it be better to apply one after the other one? 🙂🌼
Thanks so much!!
I personally always recommend applying the products one after another for better absorption 🥰
Thank you so much for your reply 🌸
Thank you for the vid. Great information. The only thing I miss is, if you would have said when its best to use it, in the morning or evening.
The Ordinary is still my favorite brand. Thank you very much Ashley, I discovered it watching your videos 😁😘
She is GREAT!
❤️❤️
It's still one of my favourites as well🤗🥰
Your skin is absolutely unreal. You are so pretty and youthful. Thank you for this video!
please can you do a video advising when to use these product pairings please am or pm? i am confused whether i should use them in the mornings or night. thank you xx
Thanks for sharing. Very helpful. Can you tell me what moisturizer is best for more dry skin at age 56? And will work with these pairings.
This is a great video! Thank you for the information. The Ordinary is my favorite line and I will be trying these pairings.
You are so welcome! It's one of my favourite brands as well 🤗
Thank you so much 🤗
When I am switching out my skincare products I usually use the same types of products but using other brands/formulas.
She has videos on this
SOO excited … I’m in Mississauga this weekend and stopped at the DECIEM store @ Square One !!

If my vitamin c already contains ferulic, should I apply the resveratrol serum? Would it be necessary or will it be too much?
It’s not necessary to use the separate Resveratrol + Ferulic if your vitamin c already has it but I would and I do everyday and I love it!
@@SincerelyMissAsh ahhhh thank you so much for replying!! Now I'm excited to try this :D
I apply TO ethylated ascorbic acid on face and then mix TO Resveratrol in cerave moisturizing cream.
Fantastic video and I have all of these! Quick question, do you use the Amino acid B5 before Lactic acid? That is what I do. My skin has improved so much, a huge thank you!!!
Thanks so much!!
Yes!! I apply Amino Acids first then Lactic acid but of course doing it the other way around is fine too ☺️
Great video. Which goes first arbutin or retinol? And also the servatol and vitamin c, which goes first?
Vitamin C first then Resveratrol.
I would apply Arbutin first then Retinol as the Ordinary retinol has a thicker texture.
@@SincerelyMissAsh thank you!
Thank you. What do you think of the multi peptide copper serum from the ordinary? It has more than the buffet in it.
It’s my absolute favourite and I consider it the best from The Ordinary!
@@SincerelyMissAsh I'm off to buy some today lol I watched more of your videos and realised you already knew about it.
Amazing video♥️ thank you for the info. I have been using ordinary products since last year but haven’t tried most of the pairing you suggested in the video. I will definitely try them😊
Hi Ashley!
Because of you I am.....The Ordinary freak😝
IT WORKS!!
Thanks Ashley
XO, Vegas🥰
Hey!!
LOVE IT! That makes me so happy to hear ❤️
You could totally use retinol on the nights you don't use Tretinoin and the one from the Ordinary is quite nice especially the Retinol 1% in Squalane. Squalane is very moisturizing so that would probably be the one I would try 😉
@@SincerelyMissAsh Thanks Ashley ! 💜
Thank you so so much❤️
I use Tretinoin on my face and Retinol on my neck.
Hi Sincerely Miss Ash
Thank you for this very informative video. Below is my skincare routine AM and PM. I am in my 40s, have combination and deep acne scarring. I have started using the Ordinary products but I also do dermaplaning. I have already seen a huge improvement in my skin. Please advise how you would use the below and if you would make any changes? Please also recommend a good eye serum/oil/cream
Day Routine
1. Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 (AM and PM)
2. Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (AM and PM)
3. Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA - 100ml (AM and PM)
4. Sunblock
Night Routine
1.Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution (PM)
2. Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 (AM and PM)
3. Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (AM and PM)
4. Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane (once a week at the moment as I only just received it)
5. Plant based squalene
6. Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA - 100ml (AM and PM)
Thank you.
Please do a vid explaining how you pair the products such as; if you mix the pairing together or put one on after the other
I will generally always recommend applying products one after the other. Pycnogenol and moisturizer is one pairing that I love mixing together in the palm of my hand but everything else is applied individually.
I recently started using the argilaline combined with retinol. Only for a week, and it's already had some effect...
So good! Thank you for sharing your fave product pairings! ♡
You’re welcome 😉
Hi!
Is it OK to use your tretinoin on your face 1st and then the Ordinary Squalane or Rose Hip Oil 2nd?
Hi Ash, I am new to your channel and I have recently been using Ordinary products and love them. I would like to know which ones to use together. I use Marine Hyalauronics and EUK 134, niacinamide 10% Zinc and Buffet or Matrixyl, I also use the Argireline plus the lotion and the cleanser from Ordinary. I do use prescription Retin-A so I want to know if I should use these before my Retin- A in the evening and how should I pair these? Can they be done all at once in the Palm?
Thank you. You do a superior job and so well spoken. I have used Ordinary for 4-5 years and have always had good results. 73 years old........
Aw thank you so much!! The Ordinary is amazing 😉
Hi! which serum can be for everyday use?
Great information! I just ordered 4 serums, can't wait till they arrive!
Thanks a bunch! Amazing videos.
Can matrixyl 10% be paired with granactive retinoid 5%as well.
Try acupuncture, could be hormone imbalance. They also give nutrition tips
Definitely look into nutrition. I had acne for years and it turns out milk was the source. It’s normally something that triggers your hormones.
Could you also do a video on paring for mature skin. Also do a.m and pm pairing step by step.
Thank you for the great advice as to what of Ordinary products go best together. I use the Retinol and Buffet but want to try others too.
With that being said,
I have a question if anyone is willing to help me. 🥰
Here are the ones I just purchased:
1. The Buffet w/out copper
2. Matrixl 10% + HA
3. Argireline Solution 10%
4. Retinol .5 in squalene
5. Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%
6. Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%
7. Amino Acids + B5
I really hope to hear from someone soon! God bless,
Kaila ❤️
Thank you for your videos, very helpful espacially with the ordinary because they have so much products. I ve been using it for at least a year but… no results so far ..☹️. Don’t expect miracles but it’s still a bit frustrating ( cannot use retinol, vit C, lactic acid .. that may be the problem ??!)
You are so welcome and happy to hear my videos are helpful🤗
Unfortunately not all brands will work for everyone... Although Vitamin C, Retinol/Retinoids are great anti-aging products so is using Sunscreen everyday and also using peptides. You may want to have a peptide routine as this is also great for anti-aging!
@@SincerelyMissAsh I use buffet and resveratrol but maybe I should add copper peptids ?

Hey! For someone pairing The Ordinary's Niacinamide and The Ordinary Retinol 0.5 & in squalane, what is the correct order one should follow? Should Niacinamide go first or retinol?
I would apply Niacinamide first then the Retinol..
I just tried the Ordinary niacinamide with retinol...definite game changer!!!!
Omg it's an amazing pairing 🥰
Which one do you use first?
Could Retinol + Niacinamide be used on the skin that has never had a problem with acne? Wouldn't it make it more dry?
You can and not necessarily but anything is possible.. Niacinamide is also great for dark spots and hyperpigmentation...
Omg you are sooo beautiful! Love your skin! 🌹
You are very kind! Thank you so much💗
Please guide me about how to pair Niacinamide 10%+zinc 1%,
ascorbic acid 8%+alpha arbutin 2% and Retinol .5% in squalene all from The Ordinary in my am-pm skin care routine.

1. Glycolic Acid 7%
2.Acid Hyaluronique 2%+B5

Am routine hyaluronic - niacinamide-moisturizer- spf 50
Night time hyaluronic- salicylic-eye cream- moisturizer.
Vit C serum 20%
AHA/BHA
Niacinamide 10% + zinc
Lactic A 10% + HA
HA 2% + B5
Buffet (no copper peptides)
Argireline
Resveratol
Rose Hip oil
Is that too much? I have fine lines, beginning wrinkles, reg to oily t zone. Cerave cleanser and moisturizer lotion and cream. Is that good? And in what order for each day? Thank you so much for any help!
Hello Lisa. I am a skincare addict when i reached my 40’s. I’m now 50yrs old. My morning routine are:
Cleanser, aha/bha or my essence, vitamin c with ferulic, moisturizer and sunscreen.

Another question, why don't you use retinol and buffet together in the same routine? Shouldn't they be used together?

Great video! What do you think of the buffet with vitamin c?
Thank you!! It depends on what vitamin c you are using. If you’re using a derivative then you could but if it’s a pure form like L-Ascorbic Acid I wouldn’t use the two together as this can lead to possible irritation and could make both products less effective on the skin.
Thank you Ms. Ash for putting together this informative and great video! I am very grateful! I'm in my 60's and love taking care of my skin.
You are so welcome!

Resveratrol

hey can I use ordinary hyaluronic acid , retinol , niacinamide and vitamin c togther ? all 4 plus mosturizer ?
I wouldn't recommend using Vitamin C in that routine as using Vitamin C and Retinol together can be a harsh pairing. Use the Vitamin C in the morning and the other 3 products at night.
Hi, I am currently using Barbor and Dermalogica i have very sensitive skin will I be able to use some of these ordinary products in conjunction with my products?
The Ordinary can be paired with many other skincare brands so I would assume that would be ok.
What would be the best combination for very very stubborn melasma.
Do you use amino acid before or after Tret ? Please
Where should I fit in lactic acid please
