Handy tutorial. I’ll need to keep this in the back of my mind if I ever run into a situation like that. Glad your doing Luminar tutorials. They will help me get up to speed. Take care!
Thanks for watching Steven. I’ll be doing Luminar AI tutorials for a bit as I badly need a haircut and don’t want to be in front of the camera until that happens. 😂 We are currently in lockdown so no hair salons are open. Let me know if you have any Luminar AI questions. Cheers and great to hear from you again.
@@ImageMaven I know, how wearying is this ongoing COVID crisis. Forgot to say, I loved seeing your little poochie. Such a cutie. I see a picture like that and just want to reach out and give him/her a big love. We have Boston Terriers in our home, fantastic dogs but not quite as fluffy.
The Luminar Ai interface has changed a bit since I made this video. Click the Edit tab. The Tools will all show up in one long list on the right side of your photo. The Pro tools are now at the bottom of that list of Tools, instead of being grouped like they were in this video. Hope that helps!
love this... I'm very new to photo editing ... can this technique be used to completely remove a background on a picture... I can't find anything for Luminar AI ... only the older versions that use layers....a brief explanation would be great...thanks so much
No. You can’t really remove the background in luminar AI. You would need Photoshop or something similar to do that. Luminar AI doesn’t have layers. It’s a simpler photo editor. Thank you for watching.
Loving your tutorials Marlene. I heard somewhere that Luminar ai had a bug in that some menus didn't appear if you used a 4k monitor. Do you know if this is still the case please? Also, do you know if there is a trial version of Luminar ai? Thanks.
Hmm hadn't heard that 4K problem. I can't find anything about that in FAQ section on the website. Doesn't look like there is a trial version at this time.
Is it possible to blend a foreground to a background in luminar ai. I put a green screened subject on a background in photoshop. I saved it as one jpg photo. Can i make the subject blend into the background in Luminar ai.
@@warmgun Luminar AI doesn't use Layers. Luminar 4 does. Why leave Photoshop? I still think since you're already in Photoshop you can finish that up in a couple of clicks.
FABULOUS!! Congratulations, Marlene!!
I'm loving your tutorials. I'm new to luminar and your tutorials are quick please come up with some more videos.❤
I admit I haven’t kept up with the latest versions of Luminar. They have excellent tutorials on their website, so definitely have a look at those.
@@ImageMaven yeah sure will check them out but I like your way of teaching thanks for these tutorials ❤️🙌.
Awe, thank you for saying that! :)
More magic from Marlene. Thanks...Amazing how our pets really know how to pose for us.
So true! And our kids, at least until they become teenagers, and then they just want to take selfies 😂 Thanks for watching Jim!
Simple and precise . Thank you
Thank you Shirish.

@@hVF8KZuQPeCc8u And thank you so much for the coffees Steven. I just got back to my office computer and saw the message. :)
Hi. I truly like your style of teaching...good pace to follow, and you demonstrate very well.
thanks, Keith
Thank you so much Keith. Great to wake up this Sunday morning with your lovely comment on the top of the heap. Cheers and have a great day.
Thanks so helpful. Could you please demonstrate a variety of color changes besides the specific hues of color harmony.? Thanks
Thanks for watching Vitela. :)
Great tutorial thanks - love your dog. Does the dog skateboard?
Thanks Jeff. She's a bit old and fragile so she hasn't been out skateboarding yet. I might try her on it next summer though. ;)
Thank you so much.
You're welcome!
Hi Marlene, great video. Thumbs up. How can i upgrade to Luminar Ai Pro? I do not have that pro options on the side. Thank you and stay healthy ;)

@@ImageMaven The bug was highlighted in a RUclips video from Joseph Nuzzo - Luminar AI Missing Sliders Fix - Skylum Support Delays.
@@alandimery3379 Okay thanks for letting me know. I wonder if it was in the Windows or Mac version of the software.
@@ImageMaven It was Windows. I now have it running on my PC without that bug. Thanks.
Or at least it was working with the trial. I haven't checked since I have bought it. But I am sure ot will be okay.

That's kind of a weird question. Why not just do it all in Photoshop since you've already done most of your edits there?
@@ImageMaven I thought it would be easier in luminar.

How to remove the chromatic aberration on tree branches
I'd pop over to the Skylum website for extra tutorials on Luminar Ai. You will find it there for sure.
It’s not perfect, it’s better to use photoshop for this kind of photo to change the color.
It was a quick edit for demonstration purposes. For _real_ work I'd take more time.
