Hey Josie! Been watching your China videos for the past week now and absolutely loved it. As a Chinese myself just thought I'd bring up a few things that might be helpful to you: 1. It's not rudeness when people don't reply to your "Nihaome (how are you)" (cuz I see you confused a couple of times after being ignored 😂) , that's simply because we do not use such, how do I put it, such greeting routines in China. "Nihaome" is a very formal greeting phrase that is almost never used in a daily convo. In the west (in the few languages that I know), "how are you" is like a respectful convo starter, but not in China, that's why they look confused and they don't know how to respond or they just simply ignore your "Nihaome" 😂. We do use different lingo in different regions to ask how's the other person been (but usually to someone you already know, not any stranger on the street that is). Call it a cultural difference 😅 2. When you praise the food, you've been saying "henhaochi (very tasty)", and that's usually used to describe food because it's translated literally to "it's very good to eat". But I've seen you saying "henhaochi" to drinks (coffees, juices, etc.) and people get confused because we separate "eat" and "drink", when it's a drink you say "henhaohe (it's good to drink)" and people will understand you a lot more (also "meiwei" - "delicious" is a very literal and formal word, people might think you came out of a old movie from the past 😂, try to stay away from it) 3. When you respond to yes or no question, try to say "Dui (correct)" or "Shide (yes)" instead of saying "shi" because that will make your response more understandable. 4. Try to stay away the night markets that are next to a commercial area (a mall, city center, etc.) because these are vendors selling stuff to tourists (domestic or international alike) and they taste more or less the same with a lot of sauces going into it that are bad for your taste buds. Try asking the reception to help you find some good local places to try (I was going to recommend a few apps but it seems that there's no English version of these apps 😅). 5. Coming back to Business Class, when it's domestic flights, your business class seat is already way better than my previous experiences (I've flown China Southern from Guangzhou to Shenyang - my hometown, and the business class was literally just bigger seats, like Premium Economy), the decent business class seats are usually international flights which I'm sure wiht the growth of your channel, you'll be able to try out soon 🎉 All the best for your adventure and I'll be checking your videos out to see if there are more things I can help you with! P. S. is it just me or Michael looks like a larger version of Channing Tatum? 😂 X
At a Chinese airport The noodle is usually(not always) served in the form of plain noodles when you get it and you have to go to the other section for sauces, condiments, and toppings. Those together make up the actual flavor of the noodle dish. This is like a semi-self serve dish where you get to decide what YOU like for your noodles. The lady at the noodle section seemed to be telling you to choose your own toppings. Lol maybe that’s why you had plain noodles haha😂
Very useful tip, many thanks from the states. I prefer to utilize the extensive HSR network China has constructed, but this will come in handy on my flight out I'm sure! Chinese people are always so helpful in the comments, I ought to personally thank you for such kindness

The Chinese sign says "VIP Resting Room" - maybe that's why they have so many chairs instead of desks for people to work...they really take the sign to heart and design the area accordingly...😂

I’ve only flown business once (I gave up my seat on an overbooked flight and instead got upgraded) and I slept through the whole flight. It’s been like 18 years and I’m still a bit mad about it 😂.
Dear Eastern Airlines Lounge is most famous for the bowl of noodle soup, I'm sorry you didn't add delicious ingredients. Only took the noodles, next time please do not miss!
Once you fly business class with other airlines, you will know that Chinese carriers are a bit below average. Depending on the aircraft and staff, your experience will differ of course. The food on Chinese airlines are very... meh. Better than train food though. You got a nice aircraft for a short-haul flight.
7:20 As a land service staff, the female China Eastern staff is playing with her mobile on the business class passenger bus. What I feel is, she is not professional. China Eastern Airlines needs more training to their staff in order to compete with other airlines and to be a 5-star airlines. I can see Hainan Airlines's staff/crews do better and more professional than China Eastern Airlines.
Australia’s camels are not native and in the middle of the country. 99.9% of people in Australia live on the coast line = not in the middle of the desert. Camels are not common to see 😊😊
