I'm a new EV owner and am thoroughly enjoying your EV related videos - have learnt a lot from them. Ironically I'm also travelling in MU business class to Shanghai (from Melbourne though) later this year, so this is very relatable content, along with the EV related videos! It's also very refreshing to see local EV content rather than constantly seeing US content, thanks for the great content Tom!
China Eastern’s A350 business class is so underrated individual suite puts it on top although other amenities and food is not as good as other it’s still crazy good
@@LudicrousFeed That was a cash price , our travel agent usually give my parents a super discount once a year considering parents fly to china few times a yr on business but I think the oringinal price per person was about $ 2800 for Jun 24 departure.
I can communicate in Mandarin at a basic conversational level which I managed to use to get through most situations while in China. I struggled whenever they spoke quickly or used more technical/specific terms … I then asked to revert to English where possible. I did see my fellow media travellers whip out Google Translate occasionally which helped a lot 👍

Thanks for watching my content! You will enjoy the MU business experience 🥂
Tom looks like a pretty new aircraft .. based on the lack of wear to fixtures and fittings….
Yeah it couldn’t have been more than a few years old

I thought the food wasn’t too bad actually 😁🥂
But yes agreed individual cabin is so good!
@@LudicrousFeed Yeah can’t wait to try it this Christmas
Man you are living the dream!
Feeling very lucky! 🥂
Great review... love the seat tour.
Pleasure! 🙏
I have been working as an expatriate in China since 2021. I have to say, the Chinese airlines are pretty good. I've never used business class though!
I’ve been impressed with them too
I am doing this business flight this coming Friday.
Enjoy! 🥂
I am catching the 9pm flight to Bangkok after this. I think your flight arrived at about 730pm?
Yes very nice in Business Class, did you get a window seat on the way home btw?
Yes window Premium Eco but managed to sleep 8+ hours 😴
I wet china southern this year London to sydney & it was great & so much room. Im hoping that china eastern is the same
Having flown both … I’d say CE is more premium tbh
27:25 that is Sam Evans right? haha
Yes the Viking was with us
My parents paid AUD 2600 return from syd to guangzhou via shang hai pvg. Man that price was insane.
Flying eco or business?
B/C, eco was AUD7**. 😂
Whaaaa that IS insane! 😱

Thanks for this. Very average looking… but it is on average 20%+ cheaper than the other airlines for the China > Europe route. I’ll suck it up!
It’s plain but great value!
Tom is it hard to communicate in china if not a mandarin speaker? I am in the same boat

Someone looks way to comfortable in Business Class!
I can’t go back 😭😭
@@LudicrousFeed Enjoy the flight to the UK 🙂the family is going to love Business Class!
Well …
@@LudicrousFeed 😂
visa free to china?
Not for this trip. I had to apply for a “M” trade/commercial Visa
Yes always good when you don’t pay for it !
That's the best way to travel 😅
Wow, can't believe that's business class lol. Book business on other airlines and all you get is a slightly bigger seat!!
Yeah it was a fantastic experience on China Eastern
