Deer Camp 2020, GO EARLY/STAY LATE #7

Come along with us as we set up our deer camp and chase whitetail bucks in the mountains. This is a hunt that we all look forward to each year where family and friends camp, hunt and have a great time. There always lots of laughs and we usually tag a few bucks, 2020 would be one of the best hunt we ever had.

Man that is a nice mtn buck and I love that snow. I haven't hunted in snow since 15 and do miss it. I noticed your ear plugs what brand are they ? They look good . Again great job on taken a nice buck. Good luck here in 23

Thanks for comments, apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I've been way behind schedule with my work and have been putting in some long days. I'm not sure the exact brand name the ear plugs are but I'm sure you could pick them up at about any hardware store. Good luck to you in 23 as well

What camera was used for the filming of this

I use a Sony AX53, its been a great camera. Its fast to operate, I like the fact that you can take the battery off and on quickly and keep it warm when its cold, It's been beat around a lot more than I'd like and its kept running.

Really nice buck. Where did you end up hitting him?

Thanks for watching, I flat missed him the first shot then he stopped quartering away when I shot the second round. I hit him a little back of where I wanted but It ended up being a fatal shot.

Great result. I rode those highs and lows with you when you thought you missed but didn’t. Happened to me recently when I missed an “easy” shot at 80m. Still haunts me wondering if I really did miss him. No blood trail, but maybe I didn’t track him

Its a Kimber, Adirondack is the model in a 6.5 Creedmoor
