@@PSh-r3i The majority of today's music is souless garbage - at best. The 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s were all superior. Yes, there are good musicians still around nowadays, but this world seems to be content with "Press play and wave their mobile phones in the air", crap. Sadly.

It really is! As a younger/newer fan, I don't remember these songs originally coming out, and I keep thinking this one is from the 90s, like maybe from "Very," because it sounds so much more contemporary than 1988.

I worked as a bartender and occasional DJ in a Newcastle City centre pub when this track exploded onto the music scene, and it was HUGE amongst the revellers at the time.
I still love it today.
Neil, you may know the pub I am on about, being from North Shields, me from Gateshead. Balmbra's was the place, at the bottom of the Cloth Market. It had a traditional style, front bar known as Gaslights, but the back bar was a music hall originally, with a huge arched ceiling, and a mezzanine at the back above the loos, where the DJ stand was located. It was a fantastic venue back then, in the late 80's early 90's, and the acoustics were excellent. But in recent years, the place has been allowed to fall into decay, and has actually been closed for a few years, after various iterations to try and retain the clientele. But it's heyday vanished years ago, which is a shame.

@@Madness832 It doesn’t look like live TV here, it’s a bit more jerky. Look at any of my recent videos, they’ve been processed to display properly although some equipment won’t support it.
