@@yummowickersham7746 It's supposed to be the closest thing the game has to endless mode, expecting them to have different stuff every few levels or less in the entire Cosmic Ocean is unrealistic. That being said, level feelings in Cosmic Ocean would be nice to add variety.
doing the skip with the clone gun is super cursed, like imagine bringing it that far to clone the sun challenge bag, but your jetpack exploded in neo babylon so you can't do the traditional skip

Really? just line it up and tap jump around 3/4 times a second, and you will make it to the top. The lasers coincidently also match up with this timing. The other skips require skill though.
you should have mentioned that all the skips that use the side wall can be done with much fewer ropes, by dodging/bombing the 800 spark traps on the ground level
There's a skip that you missed that involves going around the tentacles at the bottom with a rope and going out of bounds and teleporting back in, (req. climbing gloves and tele item). Orionhart shows it off in one of his videos.

@@TheGugubo Just succeeded in getting to eggplant world. I didn't end up using any of the skips though, because most of the times I ended up doing it eggplant child died on sunken city :( However this did help me a lot.
I agree with the person who used the web gun, climbing gloves suck because more often than not they just end up messing you up by grabbing something you didn't intend to.
Great video, though how much pressure are you meant to apply to the spring shoes jump skip? Too light and you get electrocuted, too heavy and the bubble breaks (and you get electroctued) :/ I've died over 200 times now (+ spent over 4 hours besides) trying to train for that one skip. Thanks in advance.
Once you get past the first laser you can do one big jump, immediately followed by a second jump that's high enough to stall the bubble, but not a full jump
i dunno if im right but i remember seeing a skip discovered by a guy with a way too long name where you get multiple cavemen on a bubble and throw em onto the bubble to stall it. i think it was just a joke tho
Can you just bomb out a few of the laser projectors? They don't seem to be protected and with a jetpack it doesn't look like it'd be too hard. Maybe a bit bomb expensive but whatever
Me and my friend were in this boss with the quilin and my dumbass held up on the control stick when I started flying off the bubble which resulted in me jumping off and quilin dying to fall damage, twas a sad day.
ive gotten qilin 4 times now, 3 times it died the stage before tiamat, and then the one time it survived i went a little too fast on the first laser and instantly died.

I'm terrible at using the Qilin, and I'm terrible at executing these. I got to 7-31 once. Since then, I have failed to get to the sunken city. I always get bonked or get nicked by the shock trap, or whatever.
Oof, just tried the Vlad's cape skip for the first time (failed horribly). I had lost my ankh, and couldn't get Qilin. I didn't restart because it was the first run of the day, and i never restart those. I'll do better next time, i swear :'(
nah. no way to disable the lasers. you can blow up some of the spark traps though with bombs (and i assume plasma cannon as well), to make the trek up easier.
"only one third watch til the end"... thats because for normal mortals only the jetpack skip or vlads cape skip 'might' be possible... as soon as i seen the yellow cape i was like naww i think im outta here

Personally I prefer the Qilin Skip Skip, where you lack the materials for the Qilin Skip and have to improvise by using the Qilin.

Or the alternate skip, where you fuck up and have literally nothing to make any of the skips so you just restart and skip that run instead
I prefer the sunken city skip, where you just kill Tiamat and leave instead
I prefer run skip where you just die and hope you do better next run

Just a small tip: standing on a bubble also resets your jetpack fuel, so if you place another rope you do not have to reset it where the lazer comes.

You forgot to mention the telepack has some sort of safety function, making it easier with telepack
i mean theoretically you could dual wield telepack and teleporter and use six teleports or something.
