      I have a khaki field PVD coated earth tone, with the earth face, bought for the purpose for which it was originally intended. I have other watches, far more expensive ones, but I wear them less and less now.

    38mm is the way to go if wrist is under 7”

    These automatic Khakis are not as much suited to natos because they put the spring bars close to the case. The field mechanicals they put the bars where they are supposed to be, out close to the ends of the lugs so that the natos smoothly go through with little bending.

      No not at all, this watch is perfect for a nato strap 😔 (and I know what I'm talking about I own the same watch and tons of natos)...it's just the guy in the video who doesn't know at all how to place the watch correctly on the nato..😑

      @@nesquickchocolat9667 yes it can be done, but nowhere near as good, the NATO folds at hard angles and doesn't fit nice and flat.

      @@watchstrapguy which one would you recommend for a 6.5 inch wrist? Thanks for the video

    • @watchstrapguy
      @watchstrapguy  2 года назад +1

      @@torpido96 Truly depends on your preference and how it feels on your wrist. I would suggest heading to your local watch shop to try on a 38mm and 42mm, see how they feel!

    I noticed with mine that it has really tight lugs, as you hear when you put it on a G10. My favourites are the sand and mid grey colours.

    Do you know if the khaki navy straps will fit the khaki field watch? The lug width is 20mm so I guess any watch strap with 20mm lug width spec will fit?

    • @watchstrapguy
      @watchstrapguy  Год назад

      If you are referring to the 38mm Khaki Field watch, that would be a 20mm lug width. Follow the link in the description, these straps come in 20mm!
