@@mikemurphy8996 an Omega Speedmaster. It is a replica of a real one. I don’t see these as watches that are meant to be worn. They’re equivalent to collecting model cars. You buy one as a collectors item to represent the real version.

The watch is interesting because of how lightweight it is and the materials. I'm a fan at the $300 price point, even more of a fan if this was $200. I own some of my favorite mechanical and automatic movement watches, so this Swatch is fun for me. I know what to expect with this piece, understand it's limitations, etc. But for everyday wear or weekend wear, it's flexible, light, comfortable, and i've got a bunch of strap options to pair it with..

Thanks for checking out this Hamilton video. Indeed, the 38mm version of this watch is 20mm lug to lug. The 42mm model is 22mm.

With this model, the Velcro strap fit perfectly with normal spring bars. There is another Lunar version where the diameter between the case and holes is more narrow, which you may have. That said, what’s the model # of your piece?

@@ekc2809 I spoke with StrappedForTime in North Carolina about that chestnut strap. They stopped producing them in 2019 as a result of slow demand. Closest i've seen on strappedfortime.com is the Rios New York model, and its modestly priced.

Straps shown are simply snug to this particular timepiece. Im sure the narrow barrel lugs on this Bulova probably play a contributing factor too.

Yes, the newer model is also 20mm lug to lug.

From my perspective, I love all that this piece has to offer, including the movement and manual touch that it requires of me. The mechanical H is a killer option too, but I’d choose this H-31 movement (and 42mm size) every time. Every day I walk into my office and see this piece, it makes me smile.
