For somebody like me, who loves Rammstein more then 20years, it such an experience watching your journey from first Rammstein reaction till now. Addiction , isnt it?
Imagine being a german band singing in german in a sold out madison square garden (most famous concert hall on earth) and start your concert with a Song that makes the crowd scream your name and where you sing lines like ,,the legend is back, listen to them''. BADASS👉⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👈.

Till did have his cheek pierced at one point to feed the light through to his mouth. He suffers for his art! Such a great opener for a concert and a reminder to the fans how what they've waited for is sheer brilliance.
He did that for the video shoot.
I don't think so, you can actually see the wire going in through his mouth, but it's a badass performance anyway.
@@peterdeak6631 idk about the videos but he had it for a full tour pierced through. He stopped doing it because with the coffee powder it starded to become infected.
He did it for the video but kept it for a while and he would have kept it for life but the hole never healed and kept getting infections and he let it close for good.@@peterdeak6631
Well, their tour 2023 in Europe (without UK) will finish with three concerts in Brussels coming Thursday, Friday and Saturday ! I was at all three concerts here in Berlin, one in Vienna and will do two more (Friday, Saturday) in Brussels; I got three firezones (closest to the stage), one general standing and two seated areas. The band seems to get better with each concert and theirs shows are so addictive. On Saturday eve we will all fall into deep depression should they not announce their next plans. They need however a rest and sort the stuff out currently running hot in European media … You have to be live there to experience what‘s really going on in the stadiums. Berlin, their hometurf, was fabulous and let the band know it remains forever its home !!! ❤

Greatest band live in the world today. Being in the audience is a total adrenaline rush. you feel the heat and almost touch the excitement. In the UK they are massive and always sing in German. A sell out Brit audience singing in German is special.

I had tickets to see them next month in Chicago. First time. Really awesome seats. And they had to cancel. I'm still pissed off about it.
Chicago is difficult due to its past and does not allow pyro and open fire … You have to go somewhere else to see them because they can‘t and won‘t compromise on their show when it comes to pyro …

Huge fan since Sehnsucht came out. God it was 23 years ago. You should see my happy face on a damn 1st second in a movie theater watching xXx with Vin Diesel. 😈

Awesome, i love this song. Fun fact, the leadsinger Till Lindemann suffers from extreme stage fright so yes the pyro and all the insane stuff is for entertainment but also to keep the focus aways from him . You see his nervousness when he performs ballads and the focus is only on him and his voice. I never would have thought that possible with the way he performs.

I can add, that it is also for himself, because when you have "pops" on stage, you are automatically focus more on them. One of the things I already did, was acting in theatre plays. And I can understand his "stage fright", but as an actress, you focus on the lines and the props. The biggest house I was on stage, had seats for 750 viewers at once. At the more quiet parts, you "felt" them also and for all, when the light came on at the end. And then I imagine thousands in front of me. Jesus! One of the things I admire him for.
BS if that was the case, till would not dress the way he does or put a light in his mouth. A light in his mouth, only attracts more attention to him. Period.

I was at this show, it was the loudest, and most energetic show I've ever been to. There's still tickets for their US Stadium Tour next year. You should look into it.

I have this show on DVD. If you have not seen it all, you need to. Incredible show. This is one band that I would, as you said, die to be there for. Also the show they did in Russia, I believe, the stage was unbelievable.
Great I had an oportunity that be part of their show. Argentina live 2010 and Argentina live of 2016.

It tells the story of how six punks with brains and passion for music went from nothing to selling out MSG in 20 minutes and have Iggy Pop say "They gave me earplugs and said 'you will need these', I used them, and it was still too loud, my body was shaking".
Which is a pretty accurate depiction of a Rammstein concert. Also another American rock star said "I could roast marshmallows, and I was not in the front row".

The name Rammstein comes from a small town in Germany where a US base is located. There was a big accident during a flight show, where many were burnt and died.

Even though it's probably already been mentioned here somewhere, I'll tell you anyway (I don't feel like reading all the comments). When the idea of the light in the mouth came up, Till had the cable put through his cheek. But since the spot was always inflamed, he switched to the less martial variant. The story was told by Paul Landers, the guitarist.

Love your reaction! You must have missed the late 90's-early 2000's. They were big then. Even putting 'Du Hast' aside I remember their 'Sonne' video being on TV all the time. 'Mutter' too to a lesser extent.
I missed a big part of it apparently - Those days I was into Judas Priest, Metallica, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Anthrax, MotorHead, and even SUICIDAL Tendencies LOL!!! But also listened to RUN DMC, LL COOL JAY , Grand Master Flash...we just had our set of music and nothing else lol. Thats all we listened to so I missed out on Nightwish , Rammstein and many others. Our group of kids ignored Bon Jovi, Motley Crew , Guns N Roses - and any group trying to look like women lol

The light in the mouth originated from their music video for the song "Ich Tu Dir Weh" (it's just a simple performance music video, the live version from MSG is better for first viewing) But for it ,Till actually had them put a hole in his cheek instead and thread the light through his cheek instead of in the front of his mouth. But for fun he started getting mouthfuls of booze and spurting it out the hole at people and it got infected 😅 crazy MFer

8:15 When you're thinking about the bands name.... i'd like to let you know Rammstein is a village in Germany. Just outside that village there's the largest/biggest american military airbase outside of the US and tragically wellknown because of a dramatic accident during a flight show.
funny fact: There is a place in Germany called "Ramstein" (m instead of mm) which has actually a US military aerport (maybe the most important US military base in all Europe).

It's a shame that you can't see the beginning of Rammlied, the entrance. The band took the stage by using pickaxes and a welding torch to bash open a wall separating them from the crowd, and then dove into Rammlied. You can see it from Fanvideos on RUclips.
