If you look at some of the fans faces when Till sets fire to the stage crasher you can see a momentary look of horror before they realise it is staged. Pure genius!!

During the Mutter Tour, they did something similar with the song Rammstein. Except Till lit himself on fire and pretended to be actually burning. Had stagehands running out to check on him and everything.

Many in the audience had a little bit of shock. Even if that was a stuntman, the risk of being hit directly on the body in a live show with the flamethrower is certainly quite high. Everything has to be precisely coordinated.

I recommend that you take on the video productions next. Brilliant and one of the best music videos of all time: "Deutschland". In fact, all of Rammstein's videos are fantastic. "Sonne", "Radio*, "Ich will", "Du hast", "Mein Herz brennt", "Ausländer".

huh. I remember that one time when the fire didn't caught the stuntman in the first go - Till pulled the trigger, stuntman started to run too early, after a second he realized there's no flames, stopped, turned his face on Till and then Till made an another attempt right in the poor guy's face. I hope he was okay after that (i think he was finally able to cover quick his face, but it was definetely close! ;)
