Chronically Fabulous yes. We need to instill in them early that not everybody is the same. Some people have physical or mental limitations, but they are still human beings worthy of love, friendship, and respect. They still have feelings like everyone else. when she hugged a student at the door that instantly told me the type of person she is. the teachers that hugged me are the teachers that made such a huge difference for me and really stood out 💖
Honestly same here. I remember and have fond memories of the teachers who were the kindest and most helpful. Whereas the teachers who were stricter, I don't really remember.
She might be small but she's got a bigger heart and soul then most people in the world. I don't see Someone small I see a teacher who cares for the kids and the kids who care for her aswell Edit:Thanks for all the likes. Have a good happy long life everyone
oh it's awesome that she teaches her kids about how she's just a small bit different from them is great ^^. teaching kids that people are different in some ways but can also have so much in common with them is awesome. we honestly need more representation in teachers, especially in elementary school because that will teach the kids not to judge people based on their differences. this is wonderful
This teacher is beautiful inside and out. When I watched her at the table talking to this little girl they were beautiful together. Tears filled my eyes. Teachers make children great. I was a special needs child for many years and my last year of high school I wanted to go main stream and be in regular math and reading classes social studies etc. I was on the honor roll all 4 quarters of my senior year and my records were not fudged all the tests were where you have to pencil in dots and a machine read everything. I had tons of encouragement from my teachers. I think this young woman is wonderful.
I'm glad she's teaching young kids tolerance she's changing a generation in a very positive way. I'm glad she is not teaching high school, she'd possibly HAVE TO carry a weapon in order to defend herself!

@Anti Mapping I have a brother who is deaf. He has a diesel mechanic degree and he's having a hard time finding a job because they just won't give him a chance. It's hard for people with "disability" to find and keep a job. Notice how I put disability in quotations to emphasize it is just a label we use in society. Most people with "disabilities" are just differently abled but are in no way "disabled"
@Anti Mapping I also have a sister with Asperger's. She is into anime and graphic design. I pray and hope she will be treated better once she graduates from college 🙏
Molly McConnell I’m sure she’s a great teacher and I respect her but looking at from another perspective is most of the time having kids who are bigger than you make it hard to establish respect it even happens among high school seniors, as much as I wish it wasn’t true it’s just human nature to belittle things smaller than you. As well they mentioned she needed assistance dressing bathing etc when handling small children it makes parents as well myself in high school iffy about her looking over small children. Most of her job focuses on her education considering she struggles with other basic abilities :/ I hope she gets to continue teaching but the job can be brutal especially parents and accidents etc
"We are all different . We all fit together." You have an amazing school? Everywhere we should take this motto. The kids are getting a double education. They are becoming aware life is different. It is how we do things. Thanks for uploading this special video. I think of you Megan quite a lot. I hope you are ok.
I highly respect people like this. People who have obvious disabilities, but persevere. I’d probably shut down because my character isn’t as strong as hers.
I have a form of skeletal dysplasia as well, I'm 4ft 6in which is tall compared to others with these bone diseases. I just changed my major to secondary education with a biology track and I am very excited to teach in the future.
Yes! Normalising differences is a gift these kids are getting who would otherwise not be exposed to an opportunity to learn to understand or show empathy or not be douche bags. I think some will be better human beings because she exists & became a teacher x
My 2 children would have loved having her as a teacher when they were in elementary school. She’s relatable because of her small stature but with authority.
Definitely, cute tykes are not looking down @ their remarkable teacher, they are looking up(no pun intended here).I remember all of my teachers,as positive role models. But , again many students would walk all over them, they didn't know how to say No!,some of the educators. One ,teacher would cry ,until the principal walked in to set the tone .Once the class was in order, he left & and more crying resumed. No wonder there is a high burn out rate. They wear many different hats, sooo much respect. Keep up the challenging work u provide.🐨🐝
So inspirational, I think her differences actually makes her an even better teacher, she's been through it all and yet she's still here defying all odds. I wish nothing but the best for her.
I've seen this video several times now, and every time I watch it I think "she is wearing the most teachery outfit rn". The dress. The tights with the Tory Burch boots. The hair curled in a thick curling iron vertically. Iconic.
I'm not sure what "teachery" looks like these days, but when I was a kid, it was a print dress with a boat neck or Peter Pan collar that was at least 5 seasons out of date. The "out of date" part seemed to still hold true when I was going through C&I courses in the 1990s! It must take a lot of thought to find a good outfit that size that is age-appropriate and professional. I'd probably want to find a good seamstress, too.
Megan Grannan That makes sense, Megan. It must be frustrating as an adult to have to fight for people to perceive you as an adult. I’m autistic, so I know what least how it feels to be spoken to like a child as an adult. Has there ever been a moment where a child was being “naughty” in the classroom? If so, what happened? 😮 I’ve always been a bit intimidated by naughty kids and wondered how the heck teachers cope.
Megan is an inspiration to me. I love how she never gave up on her dreams of being a teacher. She may be pocket-sized, but she has a lot of determination!
This video had me in tears! Thank You Heavenly Father that she was blessed with parents who accepted her, believed in her, encouraged her…….A Strong Foundational Support! She was able to pursue her dream…….and is being used by God to encourage and inspire the young people!! More people need to see this!!! Thank you for teaching the children!!
I didn't love that. Go back and look. Not all of the children were comfortable...not just because of her other abilitied or lack thereof. A lot of children are uncomfortable with touching of non family adults and in today's world should not be mandated. She insisted a chilf hi 5 her. Touching in any circumstance should be purely voluntary.
My daughter has a little teacher as well, she’s wonderful the children love her. An she doesn’t let them run over her. She is the size of a 4-5 year old.
That's messed up all the school districts but one didnt give her a chance. Just because she was born different doesn't mean she cant teach. From What I see her kids love her.
Love her passion and attitude ❤️ I have Turner Syndrome, am 4’10” and I am currently at university studying to be a teacher. It can challenging but it’s also an incredible gift.

Oh wait it probably is?
my kindergarten teacher was disabled, chairbound and very full of life. i feel like it helped put me in a frame of mind that doesn’t judge others
James It is a disability. 🤦 She literally has skeleton dysplasia.
I am a teacher. This woman is amazing. What she has to go through every day to teach her class is incredible. She has my total respect and admiration. She's a very inspiring and very lovely person.
when she hugged a student at the door that instantly told me the type of person she is. the teachers that hugged me are the teachers that made such a huge difference for me and really stood out 💖
Honestly same here. I remember and have fond memories of the teachers who were the kindest and most helpful. Whereas the teachers who were stricter, I don't really remember.
She might be small but she's got a bigger heart and soul then most people in the world. I don't see Someone small I see a teacher who cares for the kids and the kids who care for her aswell
Edit:Thanks for all the likes. Have a good happy long life everyone
thank you!!!!

When she ask the boy “what did you do past weekend”? The way she listen and respond to him is sooo priceless ...
oh it's awesome that she teaches her kids about how she's just a small bit different from them is great ^^. teaching kids that people are different in some ways but can also have so much in common with them is awesome. we honestly need more representation in teachers, especially in elementary school because that will teach the kids not to judge people based on their differences. this is wonderful
Need to have that everywhere not just elementary
@@isabellastens3078 mhm, love your thinking
Students will learn a lot from this teacher, especially about not giving up, following your dreams, and being yourself.
Nice one , actually I’m really depressed right now, lost a coworker. very devastating , Needed someone to talk to.
@@tyyepes935 i hope youre fine
Yea she was my teacher last year she was so kind but kids arent always the nicest to her

She might be little, but her heart is bigger.
I like the way she greets her students before starting the class..
It’s sad how people treat each other’s because of their physical looks and capabilities
Same thing
Everyone should just be nice and be cool with everyone it's not that hard
Her voice is so sweet like Penelope from Wreck it ralf!!! ;o I like how she doesnt let anything stop her achieving her dreams.
Sadly, I find her voice super annoying. Sorry. She’s sweet but we are just talking about voice nothing else here
Ralph* (sorry for correcting)
I'm glad she's teaching young kids tolerance she's changing a generation in a very positive way. I'm glad she is not teaching high school, she'd possibly HAVE TO carry a weapon in order to defend herself!
SuperMeanSadie middle school is scary but high schoolers would probably defend her if another student was acting up
high school students aren’t all that bad when it comes to teachers majority are very respectful to them
Mm no high Schoolers are bad and middle schoolers ive seen things even 5th and 6th grade
seungri's wifeu girl i’m in highschool but i guess you can make a judgement off of people you’ve seen
@@gabriellejenkinss um I don't do judgement thins I'm in middle school and I go to a learning support class and high Schoolers come for reading and they just bully the teacher
What an inspiration….She’s teaching all of us!! More Blessings on your life….You have purpose!!

I love you sis 😊😊🥀🌺🌷🌹 you have a good heart full of kindness, love and resolution. I hope you are doing well Dear Megan 😊😁
It pisses me off the districts wouldn't hire her based on her "disability." It's discriminatory 😞
Yeah that’s just messed up
Anti Mapping bozo
She is the most powerful woman in this world. They say the biggest enemy is yourself, she certainly won this war. God bless her....
I am you
"We are all different .

I think growing up like that makes you strong. If she'd be a normal individual, she would've had a different personallity.
@Deadpool in the comments section good luck at the school goodw
I have a form of skeletal dysplasia as well, I'm 4ft 6in which is tall compared to others with these bone diseases. I just changed my major to secondary education with a biology track and I am very excited to teach in the future.
Good luck . You surely will do well in your chosen profession.
Congrats and good luck on your professional career and your overall happiness in life 👍🏾😍🥰
Good luck to you Tori I wish you the best of luck.

Thank you everyone for your kind replies!
This video brought tears of joy to my eyes! So thankful she found a school district that saw HER, not her disability, and gave her a chance!
She's teaching the kids a valuable lesson that couldn't be taught without her position
I could not agree more
Yes! Normalising differences is a gift these kids are getting who would otherwise not be exposed to an opportunity to learn to understand or show empathy or not be douche bags. I think some will be better human beings because she exists & became a teacher x
This brought me to tears! She is so genuine and beautiful! God bless her for not taking this life for granted!
Me too! She is amazing!!!!
Nearly shed a tear when I found out people have given her a hard time. What a beautiful person!
100th like lol i never did that before
Omg im tearing up 🥺 "do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one"
I am so overwhelmed by seeing such a positively charged personality. She is just wow.
Jyoti Tripathi aww!! Everyone is making me cry! I try my hardest!!
My 2 children would have loved having her as a teacher when they were in elementary school. She’s relatable because of her small stature but with authority.
Nice one , actually I’m really depressed right now, lost a coworker. very devastating , Needed someone to talk to
She a teacher and she’s proud so be happy that she in this WORLD
Definitely, cute tykes are not looking down @ their remarkable teacher, they are looking up(no pun intended here).I remember all of my teachers,as positive role models. But , again many students would walk all over them, they didn't know how to say No!,some of the educators. One ,teacher would cry ,until the principal walked in to set the tone
.Once the class was in order, he left & and more crying resumed. No wonder there is a high burn out rate. They wear many different hats, sooo much respect. Keep up the challenging work u provide.🐨🐝
Thanks
So inspirational, I think her differences actually makes her an even better teacher, she's been through it all and yet she's still here defying all odds. I wish nothing but the best for her.
I’m glad that the school district hired her for her qualifications and not for her stature. What a lovely teacher. Very pretty too.
I've seen this video several times now, and every time I watch it I think "she is wearing the most teachery outfit rn". The dress. The tights with the Tory Burch boots. The hair curled in a thick curling iron vertically. Iconic.
I try my hardest to find clothes that look adult like! I have found my secret stores!! Thank you so much for the very sweet comment!💜
@@megangrannan1322 is this really you?
I'm not sure what "teachery" looks like these days, but when I was a kid, it was a print dress with a boat neck or Peter Pan collar that was at least 5 seasons out of date. The "out of date" part seemed to still hold true when I was going through C&I courses in the 1990s!
It must take a lot of thought to find a good outfit that size that is age-appropriate and professional. I'd probably want to find a good seamstress, too.
@@megangrannan1322 Hi Megan! I am watching this video for the first time and I think you’re amazing and beautiful!

I absolutely love how she hugs each student before class.
What an Amazing Woman. God bless her heart. ♥️
@@reflexionesdelabiblia6711Your opinion. Thanks for sharing.

That's messed up all the school districts but one didnt give her a chance. Just because she was born different doesn't mean she cant teach. From What I see her kids love her.
