You actually did incredibly well! As an experienced pilot, it was almost impossible for me to do something like this when I started learning, so good job 👍!
Secondly most company procedure is to leave autothrottle engaged till 30ft thrust reduction where you reduce power manually, it’s basically to let the A/T look after you and keep you from dipping below Vref speeds You are still expected to keep your hands on the throttle levers
Just so you know the 787 floats a lot, frustrates me as well. you basically need to flare so little or it will float even more, good landing from the captain regardless just the flight characteristics of the aircraft..cheers
The autothrottle is on after the autopilot was disconnected, so why are they holding the throttles when it's maintaining the MCP speed? There's no need to hold the throttles unless you're gonna disconnect the autothrottle and control the airspeed manually. Is there a reason why pilots hold the throttles when the autothrottle is active?
Its a requirement, imagine you encountered a wind-shear or need to GA, all you need to do is push throttle and GA button. Also, putting 1 hand on the throttle can help you feel how much thrust the auto throttle is giving to the aircraft!
I agree with this one. I guess it's their company policy, but I hate being distracted when landing with information that doesn't help me. Like telling me the tailwind went from 7 to 6 or 8 knots. I don't see how that helps at all.
Its company policy. If you understand Vietnamese, it will sound pretty fun, and they kinda chilling with each other This might also be a routine checkup for pilots, or training, so enjoy it

"As an experienced pilot." Bro you make roblox videos 💀
Perfection at its finest!!!
insanely smooth!!!!

Perfect landing. Stop being so picky guys.
素晴らしいパイロットですね
Smooth and clean.
Good Luck

"crosswind năm knots" "tailwind mười hai knots" 🤣🤣
Nghe ông cơ phó đọc hài thiệt=))
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
any tailwind landing has a safety complication built in. Good idea to slow the aircraft when close to touchdown.

순풍이라는게 뒷바람 얘기하는건가요? 그럼 왜 활주로를 반대방향으로 접근하지 않았을까요?
관제사가 이 활주로에 착륙하라고 했기때문에요

пацаны ваще ребята!
first time ive heard "5" being called out in a while lol
All you guys know captain Wang who comes from Taiwan ?
👏👍✈👋
UTERLY NONSENSE! They touchdown on 2,500 FT marker with a HEAD-WIND of no more than 10 KTS, NOTHING DIFFICULT OR TAILWIND CONDITIONS. GOOD JOB.
cant see the problem ?

too much talking...

Vietnamese people are friendly :D
Long landing
Within TDZ
problem isnt the tailwind. problem was landing long in the touchdown zone.
Aren't tailwinds one of the reasons that can cause long landings in the first place? (Speaking in general)
@@Odontomango yes
The tail wind makes the landing long😂
That’s exactly right
How can landing be difficult? If everything is done by the on-board computer. computer operators just watch everything happen.
Uh they just made a manual landing
🙄
Where did you get this information from?
