6'9" and yet super mobile, a block and a steal showing great awareness and explosiveness defensively, has handles and can shoot as well as the ability to finish strong. Of all the Asian players to make it to the NBA, it looks like he has the potential to be the best overall player of them all and he's only 23. Hope he sticks and makes serious noise. Look how excited the fans were!

Next year, we might have the first half-black, half-Japanese born player to be drafted in the NBA for 2019, Rui Hachimura. If he does well in his junior year at Gonzaga, he could be a first round pick. Because Japanese basketball is on the rise like the sun.
