    I love that the big man is so unselfish ... He will definitely in my opinion be a triple double threat every night in the NBA if his knee's hold up ... Right now he isn't wearing anything that Indicates knee trouble.... If I was him I would wear some kind of previnitive support to lesson the chance of a knee injury.... I like where his game is headed but I think he needs to get more aggressive under the basket and turn into a straight bully.... I love the fact that he dishes it off to his teammates quite a bit... Now if he could get the same love back from his teammates his numbers will go up... They need to reward the big man for getting down the court with the rest of them when he does ...

    I ended up here after reading a story about the 7'9" player, Olivier Rioux. My initial thoughts are that he's a 3-star recruit who needs more development. The fact that he's a 7'9 player who doesn't start says something about his present skills. Nor does he stay on the court long when he does play. Watching this video, it's obvious that he's not really a part of the offense on a team that can move the ball and score without him. He's big, but needs more time in the weight room to take full advantage of his size. He also needs more coaching / playing time to get a better sense of the game. If he can do those things and learn to be more aggressive on the court than Olivier Rioux could be a solid player. Just my two cents!

    Even if this kid stays healthy and was agile, it would not be competitive anymore with the current standards. If the average height reaches above 7 feet or so, then the basket rim height should be higher and the court longer and wider!

      Just did a little research and apparently there are 2800 7fts in the world. And with 480 spots in a 32 team league (which will soon be the nba when the expansion happens), it would take about 15-20% to have a league full of 7fts

    They need to work on his 4" vertical leap. He's too used to playing against kids half his height and not needing to jump. He's far too slow and isn't aggressive enough to play at the level his teammates are at. His future is going to be a 7'7" bench warmer.

    Why isnt every play to just throw the ball at the 7'7 guy its not like anyone can guard him

    • @BlueDrew10
      @BlueDrew10 11 месяцев назад

      Because against any decent team, that play isn't going to work. 7'7 guy has no skill or athleticism, and below average strength. It doesn't benefit the tall player or his team to practice point blank standing layups against
