Everything I’ve read/seen about this kid suggests he’s a hard worker and realises he can’t compete on just his size alone. If he continues to train hard, learn more, and improve his game, he’s got a good future either in the NBA or internationally.

It is impressive that he moves like that for his height. Physically, he really just has to maintain his durability and coordination. No need to go far beyond in athleticism, that will increase his risks for being hurt especially since he’s 7 foot 9. Instead, develop some post skills and defensive iq like yao ming or tim duncan

  • @knockout3630

Being tall isn’t the only thing that makes you good at basketball the reason we never see people that are almost 8 feet tall is because of the amount of stress it puts on their legs so it’s more about the physical aspect against high schools he might dominate but against the pros he will most likely struggle do to being so tall

Rioux is currently too slow. Pay attention to how often he aggressively bends his legs…. Never. This means, he slow, and does not try and “really” jump.
Now, compare him to how Wemby moves.
If he makes the league, he’ll be another Manute Bol.

Or another Shawn Bradley. Who was athletic and could move. But after college at BYU Bradley took two years off for a Mormon mission overseas. During this time he didn't train or play basketball. And wasn't good enough to justify his #2 position in the draft. He was 7'7 in shoes.

Probably, but still, if he can get a contract as a role player in the NBA, then he's set for life if he doesn't go crazy, and his banker dad can help him stay the course financially. Then, he retires and can do whatever the hell he wants.

Such a garbage video, the guy averages 8 points while having the biggest advantage he will ever have. He will not have a succesful NBA career.

Mark did an amazing career, one of the best defending centrers of his era,if Olivier achieve a half career Eaton had, he will be more than satisfied.

Just imagine getting a career because you’re tall. He starts but can only play 9 mins? Would the he’ll would won’t that.

He's clumsy, slow, with no reflexes, no athleticism, no shooting, no post-game. No, he's not good at all. Just a taller Tako Fall.
