Wilt and Bill played in an era where there were roughly 30 more possessions per game than the season this game was played. Kinda inflates the numbers there. Take care when discussing guys from the 60's - those raw averages are misleading.

Supreme confidence, grit and determination. This is what separates Jordan. I imagine many players today not going for the block or the steal. Here's the hardest working man leading by example. His paycheck that season didn't make him soft

grit ... old school will power ... when he stole from AJ at OT, he was dead tired ( go look at his face, lol ) ... to keep up with a speed of a PG defensively and than turn around and score is taxing ... people underestimated how important it was to have Tony helping out offensively ... Tony don't have a defensive game, so MJ took that role as pippen is out .. still put up 29 ... MJ is just hard working ... on top of everything else ... now we have super star that never play a single game of defense ... I mean pippen and rodman does a lot of D for MJ but it is not like MJ don't play D on his own man ... once he gets older he has tony helping out on offense instead of just giving up on playing d like lebron did ...

And then think about this: the Spurs scored 29 pts in the first quarter. Which means they scored 50 the next three quarters and first OT. I think it was the third quarter where Duncan/Robinson and teammates scored 12.
That was the thing about Chicago, they could put THE CLAMPS on teams defensively and just shut them down. In 1997, they held Malone, Stockton and Jazz to 54 points in a finals game. 54. Let that sink in. Still a record to this day.

You don't reach top 15 without dominating the league at some point. Many call him the greatest power forward of all time. I have to ruin everyone's fun and bring up LEBRON JAMES!!!
If Lebron shot as poorly as Jordan did, his team would've gotten blown out because Lebron never had the type of help Jordan or Kobe had where he could have a bad game and his team could still win.
Of course you could say "sure Jordan shot terrible but he made up for it with his defense, which is something Lebron wouldn't do" And you might have a point.

Damn, look at how disorganized & off cadence the Bulls look - b/c the guy that sets up the offense & anchors the defense (Pippen) isn't on the floor. But let the MJ jizz jugglers tell it, MJ 'carried' Pippen ... 🤣🤣🤣 ..., w/ a pedestrian 12-39 (.307%) shooting. Clearly this game highlights the fact that Pip got to be a top 75 player, by 'riding MJ's coat tails' ... right???

Karl Malone needed John Stockton, but not as much as John Stockton needed Karl Malone.

Crying on the floor after his first elbow ... LBJ caught a near washed Tim Duncan and old Spurs team and was destroyed ....no way he handles the Hall of Famers MJ faced in their prime.
