A sports doctor friend explained to me once that athletes like Oden commonly get shoe lifts to balance out the leg discrepancy). As good as the on court fit was, Oden probably becomes the Hakeem to Durant's Jordan if any other team wins the lottery (Probably not the best pick given how the league evolved, but everyone is happy with the selection regardless).
