How quickly you notice the difference from when top HS kids are playing in their respective schools as their best player vs going to a camp with other top talent. Their game immediately changes cause of the need to play within your team, but also shine. Some of these kids were traveling, double dribbling, hesitant on either taking it themselves or passing it. And some were shining, standing out amongst the crop while playing an NBA style scrimmage. Quick, fast, confident decisions that a handful of them were making. Amazing to see it this age.

My whole life, coaches, my dad, everyone would SCOLD me for shooting 3's or being outside of the key. I used to HATE it, ive always been a strong shooter, always been able to knock them down from anywhere but would get punished for trying in games or even practice. Fast forward 10-15 years, Steph curry has not only made it acceptable for EVERYONE to take longer shots, but the entire game has changed to reflect it. These kids today are taking further shots, pushing themselves further and arent being held back by coaches. I really enjoyed watching this as a fan of basketball in general. All these kids were making plays for one another. Ball was moving with purpose. Kids looked to make the extra pass, finding the open teammate with the better shot and there wasn't any semblance overdribbling (most players took maybe 1 or 2 dribbles). Only thing missing from today's game is post play but that's just not advantageous anymore given how the game has evolved.

Not only an amazing player but also willing to spend his precious time with the kids to help them develop and pass on some knowledge onto them! They are very lucky!👍👍 on top of that, session with a star like that might give them a massive boost in trying to get better💪

Bro this is what basketball should look like consistently from hs kids. When you don't over dribble iso ball hero ball ball movement player movement communication and that coach needs a raise he absolutely articulated the idea of a correct brand of basketball that is fundamental and easy to stick to. Turn get back and talk. That right there people in hs need to keep on getting taught. This game from start to finish did look more organized and looked like they had a system. Currently curry doing great for this new generation cuddos to the best shooter ever.

I wonder if the kids really truly understand the greatness they are sharing the court with...One day in Storrs visiting and I had a chance to run for a couple hours with several Uconn guys of that year (early 90's). (lol, I actually thought I was in shape and my 18 and 8 a game in high school would hold me) until i actually stepped on the court...lol...So for me, the average Joe, to witness so up close future pros in action like that, let alone play with them, it was an honor and a day I will never forget...

Shooting is such an important skill. Being off ball in 2 on 1 and sprinting to the corner like steph said at the start gives you a wide open shot every time whereas cutting to the rim puts you in traffic in that situation. Having the confidence to shoot the corner 3 in that situation is so helpful because you get a more open shot

  • @SalahudinMuq

I was a player in europe and i was like 6'2 tall but never could dunk. But i had a very big jump. Like i was the bounciest in my team my hand was over the rim when i jumped I could dunk only with a tennis ball. I was working hard to dunk with a real basket ball. But never could dunk. What i realised is that my shoes are slippy ans the ball is slipery and heavy(old school balls) but that court i was training at with my team was old and slipery. So non of us could dunk. One day i went to a newer made court and with a newer basket ball(not heavy and sticky) with original hoop and i dunked!! So i can see why kids in america dunk so well and European players dont. That ball these kids play with and the court look sticky and nice to be in with clean shoes. Thats how they dunk so easily. Most ppl dont know that a new sticky balls and clean modern sticky court like in this video makes a big difference. If most of these kids play in my court where i train with slippery heavy ball and court non of them will be able to dunk. I knpw this. Even the strongest and the tallest and the bounciest will have a hard time dunking. Im jealous of this court and the ball 😢

Dude, all they’re doing is driving to the rim and either putting up a goofy ass lay up, or kick it out to the three every other time.
This is pathetic basketball. No post, no screening, no baseline cutting/passing, no actual defense at all.
It should NEVER be that easy to get to the rim.
Future of NBA going to suck. Larry bird an magic woulda made this group look dumb when they were in highschool , AWFUL basketball, idk what the f you watch
