Hi sports friends! I hope you enjoyed my video. If you want to take another look at the watch, you can find it here: amzn.to/45Nteaa. If you buy the watch through this affiliate link, you’ll be supporting my channel, but of course, you won't have to pay any extra. Thanks a lot!😊
Thank you, looks like a great watch for the money. I don't need titanium, barometer was crappy anyway, I don't call via watch, it's small and lightweight, has a good battery and display, what else does an average user need? 🤷♂️
Hey, sleep tracking in general is never 100% accurate for any watch out there, more like 80-90%. According to my experience however, Garmin does a great job, one of the most accurate sleep trackings at the moment.
Thanks for the video. Question that hopefully you can answer: you showed GPS tracking accuracy but what about if someone wants to navigate from A to B or to back track? Does it have maps or is it like in the Instinct? Thanks in advance
Hi, unfortunately the Vivoactive 5 does not have maps. You can use a back track feature, but it is just a directional arrow showing you where to go, so no topographic maps or anything like that... You can use that to go back home or to go to any location that you saved. No routes, no maps. Hope this helps!
How is the glare in the sun on the watch face. Several reviews mention this is a Garmin issue. This certainly looks like a good watch. I'd be a casual user/not too tech savvy would this be a good choice? Thank you very much
I have a vivoactive 4 I bought refurbished for an entry watch to see if i continue to run. I’m a year in and now looking to upgrade looking at the 265 just for the customer workouts preplanned in. Does this come with the 5 vs the 265? Having a recommendation helps a lot to make me do intervals hills etc
Pretty much like most sports watches out there, it doesn’t track the heart rate accurately while in the gym but other than that, it is suitable. However, other watches, such as especially the Forerunner watches provide more features, like training readiness etc.
@@brucelin5842if you are ok with charging the apple watch daily and you are not a garmin user, AW can be a better option. It is a premium watch with many useful features not found in the Vivoactive, which is a budget watch.
Good review. Hate that Garmin on a black model puts in a grey button. Makes it look cheap like a toy. Easy to remember the top button is to shortcut to an activity.
Nejsou na chlapskou ruku moc malé? I am deciding between Vivoactive 5 or Amazfit Balance. They have a 1.5" display and also make calls via Bluetooth... Can you compare which is better?
Hi there, as far as I know, unfortunately not... Here's a list of all the Garmin devices that are compatible with segments: support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=PH8600FL9d9MDCiYaJbg0A
Dazu kommt demnächst noch ein Video :) Größtenteils die smarten Funktionen, wie Sprachassistenten etc, die du auf der Venu 3, aber nicht auf der Vivoactive 5 findest.
@@brucelin5842 I've played a couple of minutes with all of them in the store: Venu sq2, Venu 2plus, Venu 3, VA5. For an average user VA5 is an awesome value for the money. If you are an athletic user you may want to go with specialized lines such as FR, those are great as well. Venu 3 has the new looks and software but in terms of hardware is a bit cheaper than Venu 2 Plus. Buttons are too soft and not clicky as in V2P. Sq2 looks outdated and slow and reacts much worse to touches and scrolling than VA5. VA5 is snappy and the touch screen is great. I have upgraded from VA3, it's night and day :)

For only 256 subscribers your videos are great!
It's a garmin with a sweet entry price.
Nobody will be disappointed owning one
Keep it up. great stuff
Thanks a lot!
This is a great review, thanks!
Thanks for this review, any inputs on the sleep tracking accuracy in your opinion?

I'm not quite sure what you mean but if I understand correctly it does.
Do you knock calls? 😊
Is this suitable for gym use ?

@@GermanAccentReviews-xn9yx so which Watch would u recommend for gym use? I’m using iPhone…thinking of whether to get Apple Watch or Garmin venu 3…

What is storage size? Does it have sufficient for 10+songs?
4GB. I have a Spotify playlist of 100+ songs loaded onto it.

Unfortunately I didn’t test the Amazfit Balance so far.. but thanks for the hint, I will test it as soon as I can :)
Let's say i want to go on a 18 hr hike. Will the Vivo active 5 last the 18 hrs on gps tracking my activity?
If you watched closely, Garmin claims 21hour GPS battery life for this watch. Technically it should last whole 18h hike.
Can you send segments to this watch?

Was sind denn die Unterschiede zur venu 3?

The interface seems alot more fluid than the Venu Sq 2 when scrolling.
Do u think it’s worth it to upgrade from venu sq2 to venu ?
