might be a bit of a hot take but the best player of the 1st selection is barou in my opinion, nagi surpasses him in the second selection before barou claims his crown back. Nagi had people to work with unlike barou in team X
nagi is way more impressive than barou in first selection , without even trying too was cold ..

For those debating that Barou is the best in the first selection. I can see why you would argue for him, and I understand the arguments.... but I disagree. If you guys read the nagi spin off manga. You can see Nagi dominating Barou after Nagi decided to actually take him seriously. Barou had to FOUL to even attempt at defending against Nagi by shoving him but Nagi shoved back and still scored.

@@justchilling2826 Still, Nagi surpassed Barou in that moment.(and taking someone by surprise is not the best argument since that's one of Barou's strengths). Since this is about the 'Best player'. Can easily argue and say that Barou's stubbornness holds him back as a player(at least in the first selection). And also, while the pass from Reo did help, it was Nagi that moved on his own and the one making the plays in that moment. Just a reminder, this is before Nagi truly awakened(he only awakened in the Team Z match)

Isagi will likely surpass Kaiser, I have no doubt about that. It hasn't happened yet though. We'll have to wait until they actually play a match against each other (as in on opposite teams) to see if Isagi actually surpasses Kaiser.

I have a theory about itoshi sae. The man that crush him and make him choose to be a cam instead of a st. It was Julien loki. And he did it not in purpose but, most likely sae played against loki or saw him play and was crush by how superior loki is. Remember sae is just a player in rm second team meaning second division. While loki is the master of psg and plays crucially in France alongside Noel Noa. Hence, loki without knowing crush sae.

I believe Kira could come back but I don't think he's gonna get any importance since Isagi would probably have mastered everything in the sense that he'd be able to use Meta Vision to a new height, or not even have to use it since he'd just be able to predict people's plays without having to try. But then again, if the theory of Kira going crazy on his own also happens, we could be seeing him making his return to the story in form of a secret final team member in the newly formed Japan Team, or maybe see him join forces with a team rivaling Japan in the World Cup

What i don't understand is, how kunigami became a joke. He literally had a transformation to get to the level of everyone else, but didn't do anything in the games he was in.
It wouldn't be that surprising if Ryosuke Kira comes back at the end of the series as the anime/manga-esque final secret boss, who himself has been secretly training and evolving exponentially as a football playing athlete that he threatens final form of our beloved egoist Isagi.
Kinda like Ego's secret weapon/ace-in-the-hole, the final test and the ultimate adversary for the perfected produce of the Blue Lock program.

I like this idea but bring him back right before the final arc of the series (presumably the U-20 WC) and he challenges BL to a game to prove his worth. Then Isagi just absolutely obliterates him.
Even if Nagi does the craziest plays in the first selection i think Barou was waaay more complete as a striker and player overall

barou was better in the first selection. he scored the most goals probably had the worst team yet still won some games and scored every game, while nagi had good teammates to help him and all he really did was score of reo's assists(what he usally does)

Both scored 10 goals and Nagi had some assists. If you read the spinoff you will see that Nagi slept through most of the first game as the GK, and in the second match he was only trying to assist Zantetsu.

i miss the animation quality in the first couple arcs of blue lock, it's only really gone down hill which sucks because the content is so much cooler in the newer episodes

So it had me thinking how it might be foreshadowing that in the game ubers vs bastards. that the same way rin used Aoshi Tokimitsu (stamina beast ) from selection 2 to make a play while every one was tired. isagi might do the same with raichi With how rin been named to compared isagi lately nd on top of that raichi another stamina beast(coincidence ???) it just might happen again seeing all the good players on both teams the defense nd offense . But this time unlike rin isagi will score from that play

...... good point actually... yeah Rin is probably a better overall player or in a team. But yeah Shidou is the better striker and probably would win in a 1v1(Heavy on the 'probably' cause I don't actually know for sure)

I just finished watching episode 22 of blue lock but I want to read the manga of the next episode so what manga should I buy?
I can see why people are saying nah I was the best in the first selection, and you could say he was the best scorer, and if he put his full effort possibly the best player. However if we’re judging based on pure individual skill, I think baroque takes it, he was better all around other than passing and trapping, and he was able to score on his own without any assistance from his team. I don’t see nah I being able to do what baron did if he didn’t have reo with him in the first selection.
i think leonardo luna was better than mbap- loki idk why he is in that one promotinoal art with kaiser and isagi, he is probably one of the players who made sae give up on becoming a striker and overall he seems like that, cute but actually the most evil villain vibe

So hear me out with the rin and Isagi dynamic I think rin will surpass everyone except Shidou and Rin and Shidou will be tied Isagi then turning Shidou into the weapon he wanted the inter time so I think by the end of N.E.L. Rin and Shidou will be the strongest
