- BLUELOCK is all about creating the perfect striker, but at the same time, positions are just as important since you need a WHOLE team for the Japan U-20. I'll be going over who I think are the best players in each position from the bluelock team, and the reasons why.

the changes i would make

aiku would be perfect for cb but I think niko fits into the cdm position better. niko doesnt have many strengths, and hes not a hard wall for strikers like aiku is, but with his newly found metavision, hes definitely someone who can control and manage the back half of the field. he also likes to stray from the defensive position, like we saw in the fist selection and the ubers match. his main objective would either be to limit the attacking capabilities of the opponents, or do a super precise tackle to completely stop a push.
instead of niko as the other cb, I would like to add a very strange player. tokimitsu. tokimitsu would be an excellent cb because of his seemingly limitless stamina and extreme strength. being able to brute force a striker down would be amazing, and having the endless energy to mark a player would be the optimal goal for tokimitsu.
before the lb and rb, I would like to put isagi on the position of cm instead of reo. reo is a good player overall, but thats the reason why hes not going to be on this list. hes good at everything. that would be fine if he had to vision to back it up, but he doesn't. his metavision is fresh, and he doesn't even know about it. his copycat's not exactly the best, as we saw gagamaru stop his rin copy. isagi would be better for this position as he has everything needed to be a good cm.

good chemistry is probably the most important thing as a cm. being able to link up with everyone on the field and act as a pillar for pushes is a key factor. also, as we see in the ubers and manshine city match, isagi has the most clutch saves.
for rb, I think kurona is correct. being able to link up with isagi and having good speed is super good for bringing the ball up.
instead of chigiri as lb, I want karasu. karasu's ball keeping skills are perfection, and as he plays cdm, he is pretty good at defense. with his analyzing skills, he is a great way to put the ball into the front half of the field.
for cam, rin. rin is the only one I want. sure, there are great cams, but rin takes the cake. rin's curveballs and long shots are perfect for the position, and with his superior vision, he can be an anchor for the attack or just solo like the daddy he is.
I agree that bachira should be rw. he played the position in the 1st selection, and he knows how to deliver great crosses. he can support on the side or just go in for the goal, and with his superb dribbling, he can win the 1v1s with the opponent's side defenders. he also has played with isagi and rin, so the three of them can dominate the right side.
lw should be chigiri. I know, it sounds weird, but trust me on this. chigiri's weapon, his speed and golden zone (? I forgot what it's called) are overall great for a winger, but notice how the golden zone is similar to barou's mid range shot. both are highly effective with big chances of scoring a goal. chigiri can work better with other players, and by doing so he can mass produce goals at a steady rate.
striker was definitely hard. there were many great choices like nagi, kunigami, igarashi, yuki, barou, and rin, but the crown goes to shidou. shidou has the most insane skill in front of the goal, and can score from unique angles and heights. around the penalty box, he isn't a deadly weapon, but a B41 nuclear bomb.
honorable mentions to yuki and nagi. yuki is great for the sides, being able to win most 1v1s, but he just lacks to proper vision to be a good asset for the team. nagi is amazing with various skills, but he relies on other too much. both very good players, but just not good enough.

Tbh pretty solid list but my only problem would be Shidou as a striker. Now don't get me wrong Shidou as a striker is amazing but his chemistry is the main issue. The only player we've seen him have chemistry with is Sae because of his godlike passes. Now we might see him link up with others more in the future since we haven't seen what he can do after joining PSG but for now I'm just a bit skeptical with Shidou as stiker because of his chemistry alone
@@zerodes2096 keep in mind though, in the third selection he did score two goals that we've seen, and none of them were passes that were meant for him to score. as long as you pass to him, he can take the shot. you make a valid point though, shidou could have trouble coordinating with the team, but I think the pros outweigh the cons.
all of the things listed are all based and mainly correct. I think aryu as cdm could work as well just to win headers using his height and long reach.
Good picks tbh. Though I think Isagi would do well in CAM since he's on the attacking side with Rin playing as either Centre forward (Outside the box) or as a second striker.

I think Shidou as a striker just makes more sense since his whole character is that he can score anywhere and make those last minute shots like Ego said in his speech. Rin also has an insane scoring capability but he can't make those impossible shots we see shidou make like in the U20 or third selection where he was flipping and doing turns and all that. They're gonna be mega buffed by the pxg match though and I think Shidou is gonna be better than Rin because he'll have his spatial awareness be anywhere on the pitch or be able to enter the flow easier
yeah but ego said nobody in blue lock could handle shidou so if he was st he probably wouldnt be able to make goals like he did in the U-20 match, especially because hes taken a lot more liking to sae than any of the other blue lock players. Especially because he wasnt able to spark a chemical reaction with anyone in blue lock

Chigiri can also be subbed in with Shidou on LW and RW with Kunigami being the CF
CF : Rin, Shidou, Barou, Nagi and Kunigami
Rin curved shots and vision makes him dangerous once linked up with Isagi
Shidou is dangerous once he receive any passes since he can shoot from anywhere inside of the penalty area
Barou being the villain on the field destroying both teammates and opponents at the same time
Nagi known for his lack of soccer knowledge and creativity with the help of isagi, reo and bachira he will be able to do much more but lacks on self play
Kunigami as the copy cat of Noel Noah but still lacks something within him to still be called The Hero
Why did you choose Niko over Aryu?
I’d say that yukimiya or tokimitsu work better in the fullback position than kurona since they are both fast and strong and have the ability to go up into the offense easily with these abilities. I’d also put Nagi in right wing over baro since he can link up well with reo and isagi and has the technical skill to play that position
Honestly with the trend of inverted fullbacks I would say kurona is better
I would lowkey put Yukimiya over Kurona, put Reo at CDM cause of his defense, put Bachira as a midfielder, and put Nagi on right wing for the Reo/Nagi Train. Otherwise I agree with everything and W vid as always!
Reo is better on CM bachira can’t defend he said he not doing combos and nagi potential was destroyed when he partnered with reo so no nagi
My ideal lineup (I know its a best in each position but this is more fun)
GK- Gaganmaru
CB Pair- Aiku+Niko
Aiku is pretty obvious, best japanese CB we've seen so far
I put Niko over Aryu because of A) his vision but also in possession he has the technical skill and vision to push up to form a double pivot with the CDM like john stones in manchester city
For left back- Chigiri- Pace+Danger
For Right back- I'm going to opt for a more defensive option as I want Niko to push up so I'm going for Tokimitsu with his stamina and strength. He can constantly create threats with his insane stamina and pace as well as out physical most wingers
LCM-Rin, Long shots+ Passing Range, also his creativity should be really good
CDM- Reo A budding metavision user with his passing range. Basically metavision and his versatility make me put him here. He doesn't need to be a tackling machine but reading play and slowing it down will be incredibly useful as well as his creativity
RCM-Kurona He most fits the role of the box to box midfielder with great supportive capabilites as well as the stamina to back it up
CF-Isagi- Positioning+Vision
RW-Bachira- Dribbling
LW-Nagi- His creativity will be stoked by Isagi and RIn also im a Nagi fan
In Defense
4-4-2
With Nagi and Bachira staying up, they will also press the cb's+gk
in the middle 4 Reo will be on the side they attempt to overload due to his training at manshine making his body stronger. Isagi will be paired with Rin in the middle with their vision to disrupt the buildup Kurona on the other side.
Back 4 Aiku will bully the target man and Niko will track runs into the box for others to cover or him to cover himself. Tokimitsu can hold up basically anyone and chigiri can swap with Reo if he gets tired with the CM's tracking back to help with any overloads
In Buildup
Chigiri pushs up the left wing with Nagi sliding into the center. They form a midfield diamond with Niko/Reo at the base, Isagi/Rin at the tip and Kurona+ the person whose not at the tip at the sides. The goal being to create overloads on one side of the field with 2v1's on the wing Kurona+a winger vs a fullback or use combination plays to break through the middle.
In Attack
3-2-5
Aiku+Tokimitsu+Reo/Niko with the remaining player forming a double pivot with Rin/Isagi, the other RIn/Isagi takes their place in the front flanked by the remaining 5 players. This part of the game depends in individual creativity with combinations attacking the half-space/ brilliant thru balls so I don't really know any strategies and their bluelock so they'll figure something out in the attack
Your team sucks bro I can’t even lie lol that front three isn’t the best. Isagi is not a CF, Bachira is more of a CF than Isagi. Isagi is a midfielder CAM
@@asvpxjase I'm using him as a false nine so basically a cam. Also Isagi is heavily inspired form Inzaghi who is one of the best strikers in European competitions so I don't know what you're smoking
The idea of a false nine is to allow the players in the WG position to cut in while the F9 drops back so I understand imagine and nagi but maybe replace bachira with a more "striking" player.

Besides Nagi lacks the creativity and technical ability to play the role of KDB
A 4-2-3-1 is a really well balanced formation for this team Same defense for the midfield the def midfielders are karasu and raichi balancing out the defense while aryu can be a super sub up front is reo acting as a central midfielder and isagi can be subbed in or start to be a second striker. on the right and left they can be wingers or without possession of the ball midfielders too LMF or LWF is nagi he can be an inverted winger and he can pass too unlike barou who literally can't be trusted in passing when he is under pressure (he can be s super sub) on the right is bachira obviously. and the ST is Rin. You may give feedback or criticism but my ideology is about passing mixed with dribbling as they're the driving forces of getting the ball in the box and scoring a goal.

I would replace kurona with yukimiya because yukimiyas faster and barou with nagi because nagi's never missed a shot(fun fact btw) but also he's more likely to pass, and niko and are aryu are super interchangeable so I had no problem with that, but this is probably one I the most valid lists I've seen so far, I do honestly think having nagi and yukimiya rather than barou and kurona would make it even better than it already is tho
Yuki faster than kurona..nahh that's not true .. according to the latest data book yuki had 89 pace and kurona currently has 95 by far the highest in the bastard team
Kurona is actually faster than Yuki, kurona stats was reveal recently he has 95 in speed right behind chigiri with 97 while Yuki has 91 if I remember correctly..
Thanks for that information because I didn't remember that but that wasn't my only reasoning, yukimiya has better overall stats, he's the 1v1 emperor, he has skills that let him beat Rin in a 1v1, he's on Isagi's ultimate raid team which morons isn't because he can't keep up with metavision players for long which we seen when he had to get taken out the game and yukimiya gives other option for scoring with his sword screw, and since blue lock is an extremely offensive team I think it would be better, I also just don't think morons is needed that much since chijiri is faster and bachira is better at dribbling, Yukimiya has stand ou rd since he's insane in 1v1s and he knows more techniques plus he has his gyro shot and sword screw, this is just my opinion on the team tho and I get why you would put kurona over yukimiya if you do
Plus we've never actually seen kurona play without Isagi, I'm sure he works well with other players, plus yukimiya played crucial roles with getting passed U20 DFs by himself and he doesn't always have to team up with people

The XI of blue lock from my Opinion gotta be :
Goalkeeper : Gagamaru
He is have a crazy reflexes and stretches and he is can save a shot from Temporary blind spot like when he was saved barou shoot.
CenterBack : Aiku and Aryu
For Aiku we seeing him Shutdown all the striker in the U20 match(beside Rin) and he is also shutting Isagi from getting the lose ball(from snuffy when snuffy get manmarked by Raichi) and also stopped Isagi Both Lefty and Direct Shoot.
For Aryu he is a Cheating Center Back with a tall body he can Stopped air Attack And also he clutches save the last shoot of U20 match first half.
Before the Left and Right Back, i will do the DF first.
DownFielder : Niko(Tokimitsu, Karasu, Raichi)
Niko has really good vision he is a type to steal the ball and counter attack he is really good at both offense and defense.
RightBack : Tokimitsu(Raichi)
Tokimitsu really have good Physique and his stamina and speed is incredible he could just beat someone who is in his way like when he beat Bachira in second selection match.
LeftBack : Raichi/Darai/Neru
Raichi is really good defender he has physique, and stamina he can stand within 90 minutes. And he is good for manmarking and stall the ball like when he is manmarked Snuffy.
For Darai we see he was have spatial awareness when he is in u20 match he didn't let Otoya Get Pass him and he know what is barou doing and he can keep up but he got outsmarted by barou who is not just mark Isagi but Rin.
For Neru, Neru is speed type defender he didn't let someone who's get passed him he can keep up with Yukimiya 1v1 Dribling until Yukimiya enter flow and shoot but got stopped by Aiku, Yukimiya is also can be this role but he isn't defender so we going to another role.
CenterMid : Isagi and Reo
Isagi is really good for CenterMid Wich for offense he has Chemistry, Metavision, Off the Ball, Direct Shoot, Lefty Shoot. And for defense we see him stealing Ball from his enemies, stopped Barou Temporary Blind Spot Shoot for four times, and he's clutches save Chris Prince Knuckle shoot, stopped Nagi X Reo chemistry attack and counter it. He is close to Snuffy's intelligence(the crown messenger), and he is got good attack and counter attack pattern.
For Reo almost same like Isagi but Reo is more really have good Physique, Stamina and Insane Copy he can do Sae Dribble, any Shoot and passing. He had Metavision. For Defense he got Chameleon Defense wich is stopped Shidou in U20 match and for Offense he got Chameleon Striker mode.
RightWing : Bachira
Bachira has really good Dribble(Ginga X Monster), and can support anyone or score by himself.
LeftWing : Barou/Yukimiya/Chigiri/Kunigami/Nagi
Barou is good for Winger as his Long shoot range, Dribble, and Predator Eye.
For Yukimiya It's almost same like Barou, but more of the Dribble, Shoot, and Shooting Range. He is can add more or decrease the spin on his shoot like when he is got a goal from Isagi assist in the NEL Munchen second match. He is also fast and good at Dribbling as we see he's surpasses 6 defender in the Munchen vs Manshine City Match.
Chigiri is fast and can master his own area like when he is mastered the left area in the Munchen vs Manshine City match. He is have his own golden Zone(44° Area) and if he is got into that spot he can reproduce goal. But this is also can be weakness like when kaiser stopped Chigiri from shoot when Munchen vs Manshine City match.
For Nagi, he can make a line of Nagi X Reo Chemistry who is really crazy. Nagi stopping and Revolver fake Voley is surpassed world class player. Also Nagi can keep up with the Spatial Awareness player like Reo, who is very good for offense.
For Kunigami he is pure Striker who's didn't pass to anyone, but he has good speed, stamina, physique, dribble(like when he steal the ball from ness and go all out but still got stolen by Isagi on Munchen vs Ubers match.), and Kunigami has good scoring capabilities.
CentralField : Rin/Shidou/Nagi/Kunigami
Rin, Rin is a definitely striker and playmaker he has a long range shoot, spatial awareness, and his new founded play style(Rin the Egoist) who is destroy the whole u20 japan defender. And he is score two goal againts ubers where we can see Ubers is really a good team that even Kaiser is hard to score against(cause Kaiser got manmarked by Lorenzo).
Shidou, he's a devil who can score in many situations As long as he's in the penalty box. he's have powerful speed, power, stretches, and reflexes(who's close to metavision). he score against Ubers once, And he is easy to reach flow as long as he's got annoying enemies or defender that bother him.
Nagi, same like when he's at LW, but he's also good for CF. he's has powerful ball control, and fake shoot.
For Kunigami, same like when him at LW but for him at CF, he is got more space to work with and he can shoot with both his leg.
So after all that explanation, my final all time XI of blue lock gotta be :
GK : Gagamaru
CB : Aiku, Aryu
RB : Tokimitsu
LB : Neru
DF : Niko
CM : Isagi, Reo
LW : Yukimiya
RW : Bachira
CF : Rin
Note : I really like to put barou but it will break the chemistry above, so I'm so sorry for not put the King 👑.
Rin for striker is the only option.
Saying Shidou is just copium people have just because they don't like Rin.
Rin and shidou play the same position and Rin still puts up more numbers.
Shidou needed a whole ass NG 11 midfielder to assist him in u20 matchbut same doesn't apply to Rin who has the best Flow state among the Bluelockers.

I think best Blue Lock squad benefits from a 3-5-2 system or 3-4-3 system. Chigiri and Kurona highly benefit from this as they are very offensive wing backs. Karasu effectiveness also benefits greatly as he can drop back to make a 4 man wall at the back when trying to defend and push up whenever they need help to break up the opposition. With that said, I think playing Hiori alongside Reo in the midfield would glue the team together. Why? Cuz of my front 3. Nagi and Bachira as wingers for obvious reasons... they are the most difficult players to be stopped cuz of their superb ball control and dribbling. Nagi and Reo have perfect synergy. As the only striker its Isagi over Rin. Why? Incredible synergy with Kurona, Hiori, Bachira, and Nagi. They can literally play with their eyes closed.
I think dmf should've been reo cus it also gives him I'd control and he can long pass unlike most other bluelockers and his defensive feats way surpass his offensive ones

Not putting Barou at striker is criminal. He’s the only player in blue lock, except maybe shidou that fits the striker perfectly

very good team, however i'd probably put isagi as cm instead of reo so i can add another cam. i feel like reo individually is worse than most honorable mentions even though he is a very good all rounder

RB: Hiori Yi > Kurona
LW: Bachira > Barou
RW: Kunigami > Bachira
ST: Shidou > Rin
Kunigami is no where near as good as Bachira ibr bachira is the only star of Spain and clowned kunigami in the 1v1, id argue kunigami is a tier below entirely.
I would make one change. Switch Barou and Nagi. Everyone is so adaptable and good EXCEPT barou. Who has one skill in shooting and not much else. He would be a liability on any team not surrounded around him. Nagi is a better bet, yes he lacks creativity but bluelock has no shortage of playmakers.

Honestly it should have been Shidou as the striker.
I hate the argument “But he had Sae feeding him passes“ because the first goal sure was a pass from Sae but it was played in a way noone apart from Shidou could have ever hoped to reach while still making a dangerous shot on target. The second goal was a failed pass made by Sae that got intercepted and Shidou‘s skill was the only way to still work with that disadvantage and making a goal regardless. He also would have destroyed the whole project if Sae wouldn’t have entertained his brothers search for confrontation in the last minute of the game.
We also can’t forget that when the goal was actually important and Rin was in his own special flow he didn’t make the goal. His flow also works for me way better as a box-to-box midfielder because of his offensive and defensive capabilities. Not to mention Rin‘s strongpoint is making longshots rather than shooting from inside the box which nobody is better at than Shidou.
Raichi underrated as hell and if I hear one more person call Barou Isagis dog after Barou embarrasses Isagi in every 1v1 they have I’m lose my shit

I think the former Japan u20 fullbacks are the best fullbacks in Blue Lock because they can actually... DEFEND. Chigiri's biggest strength (speed) draws out his biggest weakness (stamina), meaning he still can't last an entire match (look at how he faded even in NEL matches). The Japan u20 fullbacks don't have that weakness and they have the speed.
I guess with these things it just comes down to strategic preferences. For example, as it stands, an argument for Barou as the best striker can actually be made. And a team without Nagi is just... wrong. His skillset makes him the best candidate to be an OMF. And, whilst Rin is more versatile than Shidou, one can say Shidou is the best striker Blue Lock has. NO ONE is more lethal than Shidou around the box (all these other strikers aren't as threatening in the box). The "Sae was passing him" point is irrelevant to me because he was already keeping up with Rin goal-wise, WITHOUT anyone synergising with him before the U20 match. Man was scoring out of pure talent. Worse off, just look at how much of a handful to the entire BL defence. I guess it comes down to what people prefer
I want to say maybe isagi can be played as a fake 9 like firmino or antoine greizman
I’d say keep the striker the same but also shift up isagi as a CF, (not ST) and allow him to find space like Thomas müller

Also if we are not doing Japanese players only I would put Kaiser as striker and Lorenzo as center back in place of niko

I would change reo for hiori cause with kurona and isagi they can help isagi and others like rin or barou
Niko: no physique for the CB position, him playing there in the U20 was kinda a gamble because they knew the U20 striker and attackers weren't that tall or physical. CDM fits him better with his great passing and meta vision even though we don't know much about his stamina.
Raichi: just like Tokimitsu; good height, great physicality, great on defending in 1:1 situations so both suit the CB position better than Niko in my opinion which sadly we didn't see happen that much (except Raichi as CB against Team V which he nailed the position), but both are also fit as a CDM thanks to their high stamina.
Barou: I kinda understand him over Nagi for the left winger since Nagi is slower than him, but since both aren't good at long passes (Barou barely passes to tm8) Chigiri is still the best option for this position, leaving Left back open for Hiori, maybe.
Center forward is, as expected, the most overloaded position and Rin still takes the position for me just like you said. Right after and in order I would put Shido, Nagi, Barou and Kunigami.
Stiker im still going with isagi cuz he more like luka modric and has capability to score even the enemy defense is dope
As mid i think rin would do a good pass and dribble as long he catching sae, also in that position they can matchup in battle
Personally i say isagi on the bench or taking reo's spot and rin at CAM as he can create,mark deep and shidou who can score from virtually anywhere near goal my arguement fod shidou is most successful strikers don't go to far back from the front line to maximize their scoring capabilities

isagi for now cant really be in the striker position because of the fact he has no weapon to use against a 1v1. if he develops that type of weapon and skill he would be undoubtedly be one of the best strikers

Chigiri is a better winger than barou or bachira. While bachira has a higher dribble stat at 95 it’s only 1 from Chigiri’s 94 rating so they essentially have the same tier of dribbling but chigiri has a 98 speed over bachira’s 84. Chigiri needed no help from his teamates to do 44 panther snipe he got that goal on his own while bachira used a u-20 barcha player and otoya for a chemical reaction.

you cannot compare raichi and karasu, only thing raichu takes is strength and stamina, additionally the point with nagi and kurona doesnt make sense as nagi has had more individual moments hen kuruona who mainly just trades 1-2 passes with isagi

But isn't it weird? I started reading it, thinking they would slowly introduce players in other positions. But so far they haven't. Strikers dribbling past other strikers and scoring goals against a dummy goal keeper or another striker turned GK isn't very effective as a training. It's as dumb as a bunch of defenders playing their defense tactics by testing it out against other defenders. And if the point was to have these unpolished gems shine in their most suited positions, surely an unpolished defender would have a much chance of shining in a defence position than a striker? I just didn't see the point of the manga after awhile.. a team of 11 strikers.. That might be some other game. But its not football. can someone please tell me if they update the positions and include other players from CB, CM, GK? I have read and seen Kuroko no basuke and Haikyuu. Really enjoyed those. I was hoping Blue lock would be similar but about football. But so far its not about football at all. Unless we are now calling a 11 striker team a football team.

My problem with this team is that it lacks a little on the defensive side, wing backs being a great passer and a striker, and Rin having a worse scoring ability than Shidou.
with that said, I would change this team by:
-singing Aryu as a CB
-moving Niko to LWB
-singing Raichi to RWB
-switching Bachira and Barou's positions
-singing Shidou as CF
Your rin take is trash,firstly, rin literally has more goals than goals, if you want to say shidou goals are cooler then sure but rin mass produce more goals, even now in the N.E.L rin has 2 goals and shidou 1.Secondly, Rin bring more to the table he’s not just a better 1on1 player but he’s also a better team player than shidou..
The only time shidou got more goals was in u20 (with sae)..

Also Rin would be way more versatile in CM or CAM because of his offensive, defensive and playmaker capabilities especially when in flow. He also is only better than Shidou when it comes to shooting by making longshots.
So in my opinion having him in the striker position over Shidou is a waste of both of their talents.
