Gagamaru is honestly my choice for the new gen 11's goalkeeper position (should there be only one per position). Like you said bro's only played the position like 5 times and yet was called a top-knotch keeper by shidou (who's absolutely insane in the penalty box), called Reo's version of Rin's trivela mid (mind you Reo's copy's are like 99%), and was able to do a hand-stand block after misjudging the inital shot in the U-20 match. Who tf can do that
This might be a weird take I really think that Aiku has crazy vision. He was the only decent defender in the U-20 team, and now that he trained with Snuffy I can really see him crushing forwards with Niko.
Honestly if nagi has half the desire to be number 1 and the drive to learn and gain metavision, then honestly he'll prolly be able to make it, he has the talent , but talent only gets u so far, makes u wonder what if nagi was as much of a football fanatic as isagi.

It wouldn’t be that surprising since bachira currently is the #3 in the blue lock program and carrying FC Barcha. He’s also been one of the most consistently good characters in blue lock, so Bachira joining the NG 11 wouldn’t be too surprising.
I‘m glad that we have pretty much the same opinion on the topic. For sure Shidou is currently the one who I could see joining the New Gen 11 and maybe getting a final offer from Royal aka Real Madrid and have his first real hard challenge to overcome with Leonardo Luna. But it’s hard to leave the person with the most potential of the project out of the conversation. If Nagi gets great football knowledge from Agi and Chris Prince he has all the capabilities to actually become the best in the world.

I feel that Isagi is trying to overtake Kaiser's position as striker of the new gen 11.
I feel shidou could be on a team with isagi at some point sure hes seen being an asshole to isagi from the point they meet but hes shown to have compassion for his teammates even defending isagi against rin on how good isagis play was

tbh people give isagi too much credit, because he has MV and specializes in volleys, comparing new gen XI players, who are more complete and play at a higher level, i think isagi isnt a complete player, his dribbling is the worst offender, but we always see that every moment isagi can enter into a match, it's because he has a (supporting? i dont know the word for it in english) habilitador, someone to exchange passes or to give him a final pass, so he can score, nothing wrong with it but it does make him a dependent player, but i do think his defensive capabilities are great, his offense is great too but i think as a overall player he doenst fit the bill
Even before NEL, Shidou is the closest to the NG11. As he got Sae's acknowledgement as a striker and Shidou did proved him right. Shidou was able to keep up with the NG11 mid-fielder. It's not like Sae's passes doing all the work. Shidou's scoring ability complementing Sae's passes. Also I think in the end of the manga (or at some point), we're bound to get BL11 vs NG11 match as a fan service. So, I don't think that any Blue Locker will become a NG11.

That's why he was ranked 111 in Blue Lock. Also he's ranking was 2 just because there wasn't anyone in Blue Lock who synergies with him. With synergizing players, he's definitely better than rank 2. Rin as a player is better than Shidou but as a striker Shidou is better. What Rin does as the player, Sae can do it too and that too better than him.
Most people don't realize Isagi is able to read the player's protagonism/egocentrism and get them to perform poorly with his plays (Like what he did when he gave Yukimiya an assist) and combining it with metavision makes it a deasly weapon and separates his meta vision to the rest
I think players in the new gen 11 are not only amazing at their postion (like kiaser's impact, lorenzo defence, sae's passes) but overall great players in many other areas that are not their main one like sae's and lorenzo's crazy dribbling skills and meta vision plus their level of skill to make the team they are in better than before just from their presence. Its not like barous team in the first selection that was trash compared to barou and even if barou was the best player that did not mean that they won any games because barou did not make the team stronger. Sae being in the U-20 team literally make them better at attacking like isagi said. I think for that reason rin is a better new gen 11 then shidou, while i think shidou is a better stirker rin is better at every other part of the game (shidou is a finisher, rin is a machine that can get past everyone with teamwork or himself plus also being the finisher only second to shidou) so thats why rin is number 1 in blue lock because rin is a the second best striker but the number 1 overall player
I reckon rin will become a mf instead of a striker just cos if he wants to beat sae i reckon hed want to beat him in his own game/postion and with shidou in the same team it'll replicate his goals that shidou did in the u20 match except its not sae passing him the ball its rin and rin already has a similar playstyle to sae idk just a thought.....

tbh people give isagi too much credit, because he has MV and specializes in volleys, comparing new gen XI players, who are more complete and play at a higher level, i think isagi isnt a complete player, his dribbling is the worst offender, but we always see that every moment isagi can enter into a match, it's because he has a (supporting? i dont know the word for it in english) habilitador, someone to exchange passes or to give him a final pass, so he can score, nothing wrong with it but it does make him a dependent player, but i do think his defensive capabilities are great, his offense is great too but i think as a overall player he doenst fit the bill

Even before NEL, Shidou is the closest to the NG11. As he got Sae's acknowledgement as a striker and Shidou did proved him right. Shidou was able to keep up with the NG11 mid-fielder. It's not like Sae's passes doing all the work. Shidou's scoring ability complementing Sae's passes.
Also I think in the end of the manga (or at some point), we're bound to get BL11 vs NG11 match as a fan service.
So, I don't think that any Blue Locker will become a NG11.
Rin was the best player in bluelock, why not him?
@@dumbassdude8372 There's many reasons for that but the main one is that Shidou wasn't going all out as he finds plays of others lackluster (doesn't make him explode). That's why he was ranked 111 in Blue Lock. Also he's ranking was 2 just because there wasn't anyone in Blue Lock who synergies with him. With synergizing players, he's definitely better than rank 2.
Rin as a player is better than Shidou but as a striker Shidou is better.
What Rin does as the player, Sae can do it too and that too better than him.
What about Loki
Most people don't realize Isagi is able to read the player's protagonism/egocentrism and get them to perform poorly with his plays (Like what he did when he gave Yukimiya an assist) and combining it with metavision makes it a deasly weapon and separates his meta vision to the rest
If there would be players from blue lock it would be Nagi, Rin, Shidou, Barou, Bachira and Isagi

I think players in the new gen 11 are not only amazing at their postion (like kiaser's impact, lorenzo defence, sae's passes) but overall great players in many other areas that are not their main one like sae's and lorenzo's crazy dribbling skills and meta vision plus their level of skill to make the team they are in better than before just from their presence. Its not like barous team in the first selection that was trash compared to barou and even if barou was the best player that did not mean that they won any games because barou did not make the team stronger. Sae being in the U-20 team literally make them better at attacking like isagi said. I think for that reason rin is a better new gen 11 then shidou, while i think shidou is a better stirker rin is better at every other part of the game (shidou is a finisher, rin is a machine that can get past everyone with teamwork or himself plus also being the finisher only second to shidou) so thats why rin is number 1 in blue lock because rin is a the second best striker but the number 1 overall player

Not a hot take at all, I mean ego and noel noa have put him at midfielder because hes been assisting most of the time and stealing some goals. But his mentality was to make it onto the team. But time and time again in the NEL, bro is literally getting defended and stolen goals by kaiser, ness, and kunigami plus opposing team. He hasn't able to fully become a striker on any team, but I think eventually he will become a striker.
