This is the little rant I had but I figured it would be a good idea to drop it in here too: I had recorded this video Christmas Eve (December 24th) and got a little busy with the holidays (which I expected) and didn't get to really start making major progress on this video until 2024. By that time, chapter 225 leaks had already been out and the full scans of the chapter were available. There wasn't too much new information in that chapter that would've made me want to rewrite / re-record the video, so I just kept hammering away. Eventually, I took so long with the video that Chapter 246 released, and I knew I was screwed and outdated because I could already tell the chapter was going to have the updated biddings in it (for reference, I had a 10 hour editing session where I was grabbing manga panels and actually editing the video, and that only got me from Reo to the start of Barou 😭). To be fair, I really don't think the new auctions would've made me change my list too much since I was expecting Barou to score at least two goals again (maybe I would've moved Bachira below Barou since they both kind of got boned on the new bids and Bachira has scored less than half the amount of goals Barou has so far, but I'm biased and like Bachira better soooo... :P ), but that's really the only change I could think of. In the future I plan on doing smaller scale videos / videos that aren't so editing intensive (or at the very least filmed more than a week before I can reasonably get work done on it) so look forward to more consistent bite-sized content. I just wanted to write this to get out my frustration and potentially earn some brownie points lol. A lot of work was put into this video so any likes, comments, or even a subscription would be greatly appreciated. Great vid. And finally someone that actually pays attention to the story (talking about Nagi's impossible goal and Isagi's capabilities). I think I agree with everyone's placements, but I would also put Yukimiya on honorable mention list. Pressence on u20 and NEL with quite a bit of growth and humility considering he is fine with taking pulled back position while still aiming to be a strike.
Very true, I think Yukimiya is at worst Relative Top 15 and at Best is definite Top 15. He has a ceiling that is pretty high but his floor isn’t the greatest; the range in which he ranks isn’t very wide imo. I definitely didn’t consider him as much as I should have because of recency bias because we didn’t see him a whole lot in the Ubers match but he’s another solid player to consider 💙

in my opinion i would have barou be put higher than bachira, yes his dribbling is good but barou's predator eyes is an impressive feat along its self as it completely counters meta vision wihich is regarded 1 of the most op feats to have in blue lock right now, his physique is also alot more bulkier meaning his range and shot power will increase and prob even more over time, he scored in the U-20 game while being held back by 3 of the defenders in U-20 Japan and hasn't disappointed beig in contact with the goal, also in my opinion i feel like both bachira and barou are being spoon fed goals but with barous pred eyes i feel like he contributed to a better build of a player than bachira does
I mention in the pinned comment, description, and beginning of the video that the newest chapter that was out was 244 and chapters 245 and 246 heavily "buff" (for lack of a better term) Barou and Shidou. I've talked about this same thing with other commenters but to keep a long story short; I 100% agree with you. With the information in the newest chapters, I think Bachira is at 5, Shidou is at 4, and Barou is at 3. Hope this clarifies my opinion and thank you for the comment, you make some great points yourself!
Also I think there should be no more top ten or you know top 15/20 until the NEL league is over. Giving analysis or breaking down players to watch out for is a good shout like top 10 who have supported or defended/goalie

Nah Bachira is over Barou. Barou got FED by Ubers. If Bachira had that system he’d have gotten a hattrick too with his dribbling and passing. He also has shooting that he added to his game now

Barou in 3 games has at the very least scored 6 goals (most likely it was 7) Rin is the only other play that could match this Bachira in 3 games scored 2 goals?

There was actually a section of my video where I mentioned that if you put Bachira or Rin in Barou's position on the Ubers they would probably do better, but I cut it out for the exact reason you mentioned: You're comparing a hypothetical player to a non-hypothetical player which is an unfair advantage. As of the most recent chapters, Barou > Bachira.

Kunigami above Reo, Nagi and Aiku is CRAZY to me sure, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's useless or his physique doesn't matter but bro, his performance against ubers was atrocious 0 goals, 0 shots, 0 dribbles, 0 passes, 0 steals, only 1 block he was almost completely absent during his last game still, that's my only complain, i would put Barou above Bachira but that's it
Yeah I recorded the audio for this before Chapter 245 and 246 and have talked about in the comments how I’d change Bachira to 5, Shidou to 4, and Barou to 3. Kunigami hasn’t done a lot but considering Nagi and Reo have been going through it recently and we didn’t get to see a whole lot of Aiku made me want to put Kunigami above them. I can see an argument going either way though. Great points mate 👍🏼
As much as I like Bachira, I’d probably bump him down to number 5 and bump Shidou and Barou up by one spot with the new information in Chapters 245 and 246 (When I recorded this video Chapter 244 was the newest one) but I still love to see another Bachira supporter out there. I think Kunigami actually deserves a better placement and in my eyes better than chigiri, SINCE he’s a mega egoistic player he will need a team build around him for example bastard is basically a battle Royale and he will probaly outbeat shidou by a ton since he will go into his new flow state wich is pretty crazy, if he was paired whit sae I’m sure he would’ve been better than shidou. I really like this take. Reo has such an OP ability that I personally don’t think gets done justice in a lot of media. Excited to see what happens to Manshine in their last match. Great take mate 👍🏼
Can't remember off the top of my head but that sounds right. I think Reo went in for the block on goal but didn't realize the ball way gonna spin the way it did, but Reo displayed some form of Meta Vision before that point in the match.
Honourable mentions: Hiori and Kunigami reason hiori is got a talent like sae and for kunigami its the fact that he's barely gave anything to contribute yes he's scored two goal as the video says though he stole a gaol and has played some defence but not really anything to look at that's good. N10: Reo I agree with this. N9: Oliver Same again I agree. N8: Nagi same again sorry for this XD. N7: Kaiser reason I put kaiser here instead of kunigami or anyone else its because Kaiser yes he's being doing Dog water but taken account that kaiser has one of the most if not the most powerful shots in the NEL and the entire BL series he also has meta vision and has the skill to become more if he didn't have a toxic rivalry with Isagi/goat then he could focus on more of him self but he's only developing things only to beat isagi/goat and was man marked for entire game of Ubers match. N6: Chigiri/queen is the fastest player other than Mbappé uh uh uh i mean loki. He also develops a new weapon and the only one to score in PXG match. N5: Shidou vid has all the facts. At the time (Chapter 244) I think they were a bit more even but as it currently stands I’d bump Bachira down to 5 and move Shidou and Barou up to 4 and 5.
I don't think he'll want to as badly as some people speculate but I'm sure he'll want to perform better than him. It's either that or he'll reawaken his ego chasing after Shidou and seek Isagi's help so he can sort of "return to his normal self", although I don't think we've seen enough of him as this "new Kunigami" for that second option to be as emotionally impactful as it should be.

Yeah I've been getting a lot of comments about Barou. I mention in the beginning of the video how I recorded this before Chapters 245 and 246 and completely agree that Barou should be at 3, Shidou should be at 4, and Bachira should be at 5. I think Niko is definitely up for debate for Top 15 player, but I personally learn more on the side that he should be rather than shouldn't. I think Hiori displayed Top 15 potential in the Ubers match but I don't want to be too quick to bump him up the rankings after one match (I know he played for a bit in the U-20 match but still, not as many feats as the people above him imo). Great video, but where is Hiori???? He has meta vision comparable to Isagi, he’s the best passer out of the blue lockers, and has crazy ball technique and dribbling
From what I remember Reo’s version of meta vision is incomplete while Rin’s is most likely just as good as Isagi’s and I’d be confident to say that it’s most likely better than his too. Rin’s also way more dangerous infront of the goal than Reo and most other Blue Lockers for that matter (him replicating Sae’s shot with his weak foot and nearly scoring on Fukaku in the U-20, being one of only two players to score a hatrick in the NEL, and most recently his crazy outside the box goal against Barcha in chapter 244). Reo is confirmed to be something like 99 overall in most of not all stats but has only scored like 1 goal throughout the entire series (that being in the U-20 tryout matches), so I feel like he’s either not using his full potential or just straight up doesn’t have what it takes. I plan on making a video in the future about why I don’t like Reo’s “copy” ability because it’s almost never used right in media. Great question, and I hope I clarified some things! 💙
I'd say he's gotta either be one or two, and I'm more inclined to put him at one right now, although I wouldn't be surprised if Rin ties or beats him by the end of the PXG match. But considering Kaiser is fighting for goals against Kunigami AND Isagi I think his three goals so far are the most valuable three compared to any other
Well yeah but why wouldn’t he? If Aryu and Aiku played there’s no reason to assume that Don Lorenzo wouldn’t have also played. Barou only didn’t play because he didn’t want to “play to Snuffy’s rules”. It wasn’t until Snuffy kept trying to convince Barou that he finally caved. We haven’t seen anything like that from Lorenzo, so why wouldn’t he play?
I'm sure Nagi will be top 5 if not top 3 soon but whatever happened to the Messi kid. Do we ever get to see him play? I'm only caught up in the anime rn.
Aomori’s Messi (AKA Nishioka) suffered an injury during the World 5 match in the second selection and ends up going to the Manshine City team in the Neo Egoist League. While we don’t see him play he does get a small bid which means he’s definitely played in a match before

Let me fix this for me 1- Seishiro Nagi | I dont care what you say Nagi is still the best 2- Ryusei Shidou | Hes a striker, What you came here to be 3- Yoichi Isagi | Same reason as Bachira Hes never actually beaten Rin in battle 4- Barou Shoui | Hes fantastic but is over shadowed by the top 3 5- Meguru Bachira | I need results broski, He hasent beaten Rin nor Isagi if you really think about it. You arent good if you cant win 6- Hyoma Chigiri | I got nothing to say hes good 7- Oliver AIku | Very good but this is a list made for forwards buddy 8- Rensuke Kunigami | He can kick hard and hes strong WHAT ELSE 9- Reo Mikage | Had prime Shidou on lockdown with Sae backing him 10- Kenyu Yukimyia | Hes decent but needs to be more consistent with his results

Barou has a team centered around him and barous team is better. Shidous team is also better. All bachira has is otoya and he still scores at least once every match. Bachira has an ability that is guaranteed to win 1v1 and has really good vision. Bachira is better overall.

Where is Kaiser at? i agree with everything you say, but i would put kaiser somewhere, i think at kunigami's place and scaling down, if you think about it he has meta vision and predator eyes all together, and with the Kaiser impact he rivals the top stikers.

The recording of this video is a bit outdated (I tease at this in the beginning of the video and talk more about it in the description and pinned comment) but at the current time I’d bump Bachira down to 5, move Shidou up to 4 and Barou up to 3. I am of the belief that Nagi is better than Reo. Even if Nagi is falling off harder than him rn I don’t think that necessarily means he’s a worse overall player. Plus I’m sure that by the end of the NEL Nagi will take back his place as a undebatable Top 10 Blue Locker.

Respectfully disagree. As of right now I think the ranking is 1. Rin 2. Isagi 3. Barou 4. Shidou 5. Bachira and then I think Chigiri and Kunigami are pretty even, although I can see the argument going either way. But right now I don't think Chigiri is top 5

in my opinion i would have barou be put higher than bachira, yes his dribbling is good but barou's predator eyes is an impressive feat along its self as it completely counters meta vision wihich is regarded 1 of the most op feats to have in blue lock right now, his physique is also alot more bulkier meaning his range and shot power will increase and prob even more over time, he scored in the U-20 game while being held back by 3 of the defenders in U-20 Japan and hasn't disappointed beig in contact with the goal, also in my opinion i feel like both bachira and barou are being spoon fed goals but with barous pred eyes i feel like he contributed to a better build of a player than bachira does
I mention in the pinned comment, description, and beginning of the video that the newest chapter that was out was 244 and chapters 245 and 246 heavily "buff" (for lack of a better term) Barou and Shidou. I've talked about this same thing with other commenters but to keep a long story short; I 100% agree with you. With the information in the newest chapters, I think Bachira is at 5, Shidou is at 4, and Barou is at 3. Yeah I recorded the audio for this before Chapter 245 and 246 and have talked about in the comments how I’d change Bachira to 5, Shidou to 4, and Barou to 3. Kunigami hasn’t done a lot but considering Nagi and Reo have been going through it recently and we didn’t get to see a whole lot of Aiku made me want to put Kunigami above them. I don't think he'll want to as badly as some people speculate but I'm sure he'll want to perform better than him. It's either that or he'll reawaken his ego chasing after Shidou and seek Isagi's help so he can sort of "return to his normal self", although I don't think we've seen enough of him as this "new Kunigami" for that second option to be as emotionally impactful as it should be.

Yeah I've been getting a lot of comments about Barou. I mention in the beginning of the video how I recorded this before Chapters 245 and 246 and completely agree that Barou should be at 3, Shidou should be at 4, and Bachira should be at 5. I think Niko is definitely up for debate for Top 15 player, but I personally learn more on the side that he should be rather than shouldn't. I think Hiori displayed Top 15 potential in the Ubers match but I don't want to be too quick to bump him up the rankings after one match (I know he played for a bit in the U-20 match but still, not as many feats as the people above him imo). From what I remember Reo’s version of meta vision is incomplete while Rin’s is most likely just as good as Isagi’s and I’d be confident to say that it’s most likely better than his too. Rin’s also way more dangerous infront of the goal than Reo and most other Blue Lockers for that matter (him replicating Sae’s shot with his weak foot and nearly scoring on Fukaku in the U-20, being one of only two players to score a hatrick in the NEL, and most recently his crazy outside the box goal against Barcha in chapter 244). Reo is confirmed to be something like 99 overall in most of not all stats but has only scored like 1 goal throughout the entire series (that being in the U-20 tryout matches), so I feel like he’s either not using his full potential or just straight up doesn’t have what it takes. I plan on making a video in the future about why I don’t like Reo’s “copy” ability because it’s almost never used right in media. Great question, and I hope I clarified some things! 💙

Barou has a team centered around him and barous team is better. Shidous team is also better. All bachira has is otoya and he still scores at least once every match. Bachira has an ability that is guaranteed to win 1v1 and has really good vision. Bachira is better overall.

I am of the belief that Nagi is better than Reo. Even if Nagi is falling off harder than him rn I don’t think that necessarily means he’s a worse overall player.
