@@pntbllbxr hi just wanted to pick ur brain I am trying to hook up my wires but I am not the best at that and I don't know if I got the right one ur help would be most appreciated
Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the yellow wire the ACC positive ignition feed, the red constant from the battery? because in my case i have two separate amps in the back on my seats on my Z, and i have to use the ACC ignition to send the remote signal to the amps and to connect the step down for the 5 volts on the Tablet. If you connect the Tablet on the red wire that stays on all the time, wouldn't that keep the table charging event if the car is off? (this will kill the Tablet battery) I'm doing my installation this weekend and i haven't try this but i could be wrong and it might be backward red is ACC and yellow is constant 12 volt?
@@pntbllbxr I was able to installed this on the weekend, let me ask you a few question,. How do you manage to keep the table charged all the time because it is only being charge with the ignition is on. 2nd .. What are you using to wake up your table went it goes on sleep mode, as we all know we don' t have access to the power button?

So basically u using one port usb as accessories and charging? I have back up camera and stearing well controller. How do I connect to the tablet? Also how do I get digital dashboard on your screen. Are you using Bluetooth obd2?
Yes, using USB to keep the tablet charged. Workshop 12 has a kit for you to keep your camera and steering wheel controls, check their website. And yes, using bluetooth ob2 for digital dashboard
how much voltage do you get after splitting an aux into rca and then splitting it again into the 4 channel? if i remember correct, amps prefer to have 4v coming off the rca
Definitely not enough. I had to install 2 ground loop isolators to kill the hissing noise. If I were you, I would go with an active powered rca splitter
Tweak the gains/check all connections. If that doesn't work, take a 9 volt to every speaker wire and pop test them.... it may be a bad amp, blown fuse, ect ect
Yep, turn on the wifi on the tablet and connect it to your phone (make sure your phones hotspot is on) Then download any radio app, iheartradio, pandora, etc. That's what I did
I don't have the bose system, if you do it is really easy to bypass it. Yes, workshop 12 makes a kit for you to retain steering wheel controls. Email Tim at workshop 12 and he'll help you out
Dude I would literally pay you to install this for me . Where do you live . Dm me. I’ll buy the tablet and the pieces i need i just don’t trust myself to connect everything correctly
I don't want to reply on the video maker's behalf, however, you should really consider just buying a unit that runs android like that! It's probably gonna be a little more expensive but it does mean that since it's all in one piece (mostly) you can take it to a workshop and pay them to install it for you :)
This is what i need to re use my Galaxy Tab , Proficiat , Greetings from Indonesia
Best tablet installation I've seen so far!
Really good video ,,so going to get this for my z ,,.. will help me alot
Thanks bro!

just to be clear you split the 3.5mm jack in 2 then those 2 were also split again in 2 ? nice install btw
3.5 to RCA. Then the rca's were split because I had 2 amps. Thanks!
@@pntbllbxr 2 amps 2 channel each ?
My issue is that I'll have 3 amps 1 4ch for mids and tweets, 1 2ch for midbass and 1 2 ch bridge for sub how would I wire up the 3rd amp?

Yellow is constant power. The tablet stops charging when I cut the power to the vehicle (the way it's wired in the video)
