This was bought to replace an old Lenovo tablet which was essentially too sluggish to cope with modern websites. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxz4qYZoyAOb_hq_UbaKI6AsZX0FnoFm-U This tablet is fast, has a very clear display with built in optional eye comfort shield, great sound with Dolby Atmos, split screen option and numerous tweaks that I've not yet explored. I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it

Researching now how to modify a 2011 yukon denali - you made a comment regarding being able to still us the DVD to rear entertainment - does the video play on the tablet ? Or is that another setup needed ?
Can you make calls from this tablet the same way you did with the stock head unit using bluestar or isimple like you did in other videos? Or do you need to miracast to your tablet before you can make a call?
Hey ClS, great video. Can you please confirm the app you are using for auto power on/off? Not finding anything close in the playstore. Unfortunately the GMX 550/560 lockpick appear to be discontinued so I am having to go a much more intricate route.

So do you no longer have a actual fm radio now? Also cab this be done and put an external auxiliary outlet? I drive for uber and I need to install one. Last question, can I hook up the rear camera to still come on and off with this unit, or would I have to switch manually everything?

TheByonsho FM radio still works on stock stereo. auxillary output ?need more info about that question. Back up camera s can be linked with wifi adapters to tablet but it's not automatic. I actually installed a rear view mirror with 4.3 inch screen for my backup camera. I actually like it separate.
C.L.S. Allinone thanks for the info, does the fm stereo show station on the tablet? by axillary outlet I mean the 3.5mm aux cord plug. I think the stock stereo can be changed with a Isimple kit. But will that work with the tablet? again really appreciate people like you doing these videos!
TheByonsho the stock FM radio does not show on the screen. tablets have there on FM radio though so it's not a big deal to me. aux inputs are designed for tablets. inputs can be achieved via Bluetooth and Miracast though.
C.L.S. Allinone I need a 3.5mm plug so passengers can connect there phone. I don't want to hassle with hooking there phones to bluetooth everytime.
TheByonsho I have a lock pick device gmx 550 that has video and aux inputs that is in my truck . It's controlled by my steering wheel controls. that's also how I route the sound for my tablet.
What happen to the back up camera does it work with the tablet
Do you recall name of autosleeper app you were using and do you have to be rooted. I'm struggling to find an app without root to power up device when charging and to power down or go to sleep when not charging

Thanks. There is a power distribution box under dash above brake pedal and there is some open blades with 12 volt ignition power

For the mirrorcast I downloaded the same app you are using, there is no router in my car does both devices have to be connected to the same network?
Michael Greene it depends on devices some can communicate directly to each other without network. also alot of Android devices do not have Miracast built in.
Do you do this for other people I don’t have the time to do this myself but I would really like you to install this for my 2011 Escalade

First off really great video. I was actually really excited to come across a video of something that I actually want to do and I happen to have this exact car and exact tablet. It was definitely a letdown though at the end when you didn't go through any of the power source connections or audio connections. I'm sure you're beyond over this now anyways lol

Might need the OEM remote control to use properly. If you just insert dvd you should be able to push play on steering wheel also. You could test that out first.
thanks for your reply. idk about your escalade but on mine when I'm on reverse on gear selector my rearview camera comes on and auto turns off when in drive, overall would you recommend this over my stock set up. thanks man. Kool videos too

I have access to rear camera through lock pick device. I actually removed clock above radio and installed a 3.5" screen in place of it that displays the camera. With the lockpick you can make the camera stay on while your driving also I just leave mine always on.They also sell a video wifi adapter that you can hook up to lockpick camera feed to display on tablet.

Cell phone Navigation is garbage compared to OEM GPS Navigation. Signals fade in & out of cell phones, OEM GPS is always working. That being said, I did enjoy the video.

@@Bek_Kazakhstan добрый вам, так уже давно ставят на штатную магнитолу приставку андроид, помоему 9, и все работает огонь, я пошол дальше, установил магнитолу на андроид таеес, и все норм, работает все, уже год так езжу
Да и штатная магнитола стоит дома , могу вам продать, taes литает работает на ура, любой телефон тащит, звук огонь,
