    12/15. I do not know the technical rules as explained in the video; I just chose the one that sounded right. I need to learn the grammatical rules, as they open the door to fun shutdowns when arguing with people. Thanks for posting; you explain things in a short and concise manner. Where were you in my school years?

    I've got 11 out of 15 this time because this grammar test wasn't that hard either. I think I'm already at the B2 level of English. Though I tripped up on the other B2 English level test when I was trying to solving it and ended up disappointed because I made several mistakes, were more than usual. That test was much harder than this one and I need to move on with my English learning process because as you know, learning anything has no end. Thanks.

    Please what test should I take to get a B2 in English Language?

    • @EnglishTestBlog
      @EnglishTestBlog  2 месяца назад

      To achieve a B2 level in English, you can take a variety of standardized tests that assess your proficiency. Some of the most recognized tests include:
      1. IELTS (International English Language Testing System): You need to score between 5.5 and 6.5 overall.
      2. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): You should aim for a score between 72 and 94.
      Cambridge English: First (FCE): Passing this test will certify your B2 level.
      3. TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication): A score between 785 and 940 is typically equivalent to a B2 level.
      These tests cover various aspects of language proficiency, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking. To prepare for these exams, consider using practice materials, taking preparatory courses, and engaging in regular English practice through reading, writing, listening to, and speaking the language. Good luck with your studies!

    Why is the sentence (My teacher gave me a good advice) incorrect

    • @EnglishTestBlog
      @EnglishTestBlog  Год назад +1

      The sentence "My teacher gave me a good advice" is grammatically incorrect because the noun "advice" is uncountable and does not take the indefinite article "a." In English, "advice" is treated as a mass noun, meaning it does not have a plural form and is not preceded by an indefinite article.

    How the present Continuous come with word Tomorrow !?anyone can explain it

    • @EnglishTestBlog
      @EnglishTestBlog  3 месяца назад +1

      The present continuous tense can be used with 'tomorrow' to describe actions that are planned or arranged to happen in the near future. For example, 'I am meeting my friend tomorrow' indicates a planned action for the next day. It helps to show the intention or arrangement of an action in relation to a specific time, even if that time is in the future.

      Hello! Thanks for your comment. It seems like you're asking about the use of "let" and "make" in certain verb forms. Typically, "let" and "make" are followed by the base form of the verb without "to" (e.g., "let me go," "make him do it"). However, in some cases, especially in the passive voice, "make" can be followed by "to" (e.g., "He was made to do it").
      If this doesn’t answer your question clearly, could you please mention the specific question number from the test? That way, I can give you a more precise explanation! 😊

    5,6, 10,11 were a bit tough. I don understand how "feedbacks were generally positive" is wrong. Feedback can be used in plural too.

      "Feedback was generally positive" makes more sense as feedback can be singular and plural.

      @@m1lst3r89 It's a mass noun. It's like a rule that can be broken. You rarely hear someone say two feedbacks. It's weird but writers tend to break the rule anyway even if they understand it. It's one of those weird ones where the word doesn't need to be quantified.
