Friendly advice for English learners 🌎…be very intentional about the English media that you choose to listen to 🎧. In my opinion, I recommend listening to interviews or podcasts instead of dramatic films 🎬, as they simulate more realistic conversations 💬 🇨🇦
Interviews and podcasts are too easy to listen an understand, that wont prepare you for real casual conversation. Movies and tv shows are much better for that.
Hello Wes, i hope you've been fantastic and great. That's my first comment in your channel. All i just want to say is that all of your lessons are understandable, pleasurable and as clear as day. Keep your simplicity and clearance in elaborating just like this video and the previous ones. That's one of my favorite English Learning channels. Thanks Wes, god keep you safe ❤️
I've known some phrases already but I haven't gotten the hang of them. Learning English and Using words and phrases, this is a whole nother level... Thanks, Wes. Your lessons never get on our nervous, which is, we'll keep you company with next lesson as well 😊✨🎉 Ps, I have an eye for my kids's behavior, haha.😂
Thank you so much, Wes. It helps me a lot cause some phrases I heard before but I didn't know what meaning of them such as all along. I will use in future at my communication with my classmates, thanks.
Thank you for your well-planed video. These intriguing clips of video/movie would harness/leverage actor's facial expressions/verbal expressions and enhance our comprehension. I'm sure with repeated watching/hearing and mimic the expression again and again would boost my speaking skill.
Good afternoon teacher Wes ! My name is Wilson I'm from Haiti. I love watching your videos... I learn a lot from your videos cause I really the way you teach... You're one of my favorite teachers on the internet.
Well, well, well, Wes... The purpose of this remark is not to butter you up, not at all. Again the highest mark and superlatives. Few reasons for that: 1. educational: a) there plenty of excellent English youtubers; the only from you I heard "flap t", "coarticulation" and "overlapping sounds"; 2. methodical: excellent manner of teaching, not overly trying to please someone; 3. personal: perfectly shaven face. It means for me that you respect your audience. Chapeau monsieur!!! P. S. According to the attached small round photo, you perfectly match with your wife. I smell it, I am not spring chicken.
Of course, you aren't getting on my nerves Wes ! I have an eye for finding what it fit me. So as you set me a good example to follow, I'll be back in due time to keep you company, at your convenience or mine and I keep in mine to stay focused all along your course. I feel at ease and it's fair enough for me to repeat some words all over again ! See you soon
In due time vs in due course, they are very similar and pretty much interchangeable, but to me "in due course" implies at some point in a process. "I'll get the approval in due course" (after going through a time consuming process of some sort.) In due time doesn't necessarily imply a known course of events. "I expect he'll outgrow that in due time."
Sure. I really enjoyed watching and listening to this amazing video! I like keeping you company due to your attractive presentation! Teacher Wes thank you from my ❤️!
You are not getting on my nerves at all. Wes, how long is the wait?In that case, I have to step down soon. To start all over at this age is plausible!😮❤❤❤

Hi Wes, your videos make a difference in my broad English skills, they are constructive. It will be better if you try to differentiate between formal and informal phrases. Just as a suggestion, Thanks a million.
all along = başından beri, daha en baştan keep in mind = aklında tut bear in mind = aklında bulunsun at your earliest convenience = ilk fırsatınızda keep (someone) company = (birine ) eşlik etmek set an example = (bir konuda) örnek olmak have an eye for (something) = (bir şeyden) anlayan bir gözün var at ease = rahat! to put (someone) at ease = (birini) rahatlatmak to put (someone's) mind at ease = (birinin) içini rahatlatmak in due time = zamanı gelince fair enough = doğrudur, haklısın to get (someone's) nerves = (birinin) sinirlerine dokunmak in that case = bu durumda all over again = sil baştan to start (something) all over again = sil baştan başlamak

I have a question. If there is a double T coming between two vowels, will it also be pronounced as a soft D, just like the single T?
Those lessons are very useful!
Glad you think so! Thanks for your comment. 😊
Hi Wes, I'm binge-watching all your videos and find them very educational. But why some phrases are classified as B1 or C1 is really beyond me.😅
Hint you may know already, the last word in your video was "Salom" which is a variant of "Salam" in Arabic meaning "peace"
I like the methods you use in teaching
