My twin, a juvenile diabetic, needed dialysis daily up until he received a transplant. Living with a transplant isn't like what you see on tv. The anti-rejection meds take down your immune system. For my brother this meant Epstein Bar disease coming out of remission. Plus the kidney he recived was from a donor that had hepatitis. Two years later life is still a roller-coaster being on anti-rejection meds.
I'm so happy for the defendant, he was dragged through the mud by the plaintiff that obviously has a God complex and thinks he can do whatever he wants. I would have really stuck it to him with the limit of the court with a total 5000 judgement. The plaintiff is very wreckless and has probably done this to many people.

Okay my Lexus dealer in Brooklyn was refusing to do inspection on my car for my tint claiming it was illegal amount when it wasnt. I told them come out and show me. They measured it and it was the legal amount, i showed them the dmv of ny website. They looked at each other flustered. They eventually revealed the truth that they dont want to inspect tinted cars because the DMV is auditing dealers and fining, and they don't want to deal with tinted cars. They showed me a sign in the mechanic shop that they wrote no more inspecting cars with tints. They told me go to a gas station. Right before I was about to leave they decided to do the inspection. (I waited 3 hours prior). So possibly the same thing with the Mercedes dealership.

Literally NONE of those things are a safety concern for an inspection. They are cosmetic things. It's not like the brakes are failing. Cosmetic issues will NOT cause a failure in NYS. I have many cosmetic issues (dents, part of the car was hit) on my car. It STILL passed inspection in NYS.
The dark tint will automatically fail in NY. But everyone knows there are places you can go that will overlook it. I have a family member who gets their truck inspected at a specific place 40 minutes away because it would be failed at the closer locations.

It has to maintain position to deflect sunlight from the driver's field of view and has to maintain and up position so it does not fall down into the driver's field of view while driving.
