He sees that dog as a prize, something that proves he is the “winner” in the competition between he and his cousin. I wouldn’t trust him to even pet sit a dog.

Oh ueah. She cares for him so much she was going to shove an Italian gray hound in a double wide that she could barely afford, with a ton of other animals that she can barely afford, with a new baby I’m sure she CANT afford and a baby daddy that doesn’t seem to be better off than she is. I’m glad she lost. The fact that she started the water works in the first 30 seconds tells me she’s done that before and it’s worked.
Nah, you sound just as demented as the defendants. I have a feeling you are just as psychotic or... you're just part of that family. There's a reason why 99% of the comments were sympathetic towards her and think the rest did her dirty. She did want the best for the dog, hence her keeping the dog in a place that had more room. Times are tough, and she was in a rough spot in her life. That doesn't mean it was OK for her family to give away her dog. They won because all paperwork and the such were in her aunt's name, when she should have did everything herself (bought the food, went to the vet, etc) to show she owned the dog. Her trust in her family screwed her over. But even the judge understood, how evil the defendants were (which adds to how ignorant your thought process is, if you agree with that side). @@samgardner4667
She loves him so much that instead of taking Noodle, she left him in her grandmothers house for a year to be locked in a room so he didn’t get beat up by the other dog in the house. She may have loved the dog, but the fact that she left him in that condition for the last year was willing to leave him in that condition for god knows how much longer and is only now announcing that she can take him home AFTER someone else rescues him from the people she claims can’t take care of him (Aunt and grandmother).
This lawsuit wasn't about Noodles, it was about the vile messages and attitude from the Defendant. Noodles is happy & living his best life. I think the aunt isn't going to fare well after this. Between Nani & Toph, it's clear the aunt is being bullied & will be retaliated against for her performance in court. Nani & Toph were made for each other...disgusting.
Waaaah that stupid girl had a year to pick up “her” dog. A dog breed that requires a certain level of care, that she was promptly going to stash in a double wide while not having any money to take care of it while trying to manage a baby daddy and new kid. She didn’t need a dog, and couldn’t afford it. Just like the defendant said

I felt like that too, but the bigger picture is that the dog is in a better place. Even though the defendant guy is a pos, him and his gf are taking care of the dog. And my heart goes out to the plaintiff girl, but I think her grandmother was right, she had a lot on her plate. Hopefully the plaintiff makes peace with the decision. The defendant didn't do himself any favors by grovelling before the judge after she read his text message out loud. He just dug himself in deeper with everybody within the sound of her voice. I still think the judge will rule against the plaintiff on legal grounds.
Reprehensible message for sure. But he "owned it" and admitted that he shouldn't have written that. It didn't effect the case, so it wasn't so cool for the judge to read it aloud to America.
I don't know if litigants ever read these but in case one of them ever does... Truly wishing you and your son the best in life. Don't let that toxic family bring you down anymore. I hope you're doing well and maybe found a new fur baby to share some of that love with ❤.
I think so. Many people are overlooking the fact that the plaintiff didn’t have the proper space for that dog. That breed is one of the worst to have cooped up in a small space.
Love the change in his girlfriend's expression when she started reading the messages. Instead of looking at the Judge, she's looking at him with the classic, "I told you so," regarding what he wrote. At the same time she's trying to make herself invisible by crouching down and covering her face with her hair. When the judge asked, "How long have you been dating?", she stepped away from him and said, "I didn't know he was that mean." 🤯 😅 😂
That Aunt and Grandma totally did that niece/granddaughter wrong. They treated her like crap. The nephew/grandson is a nasty bully and that's why he got the dog....because those two older women are weak and moronic. The plaintiff is better off not having anything to do with any of them. I hope she is able to move on.
I'm so glad Mr Marine got called out by the judge. He's about power and control and a perfect example of the need for intense psychological evaluation prior to giving someone a badge and allowing themselves to be called a police officer.
The best interest of the dog is most important. The young lady loves the dog, but she lives in a trailer with her son and other animals. She possibly would never have been able to afford to bring Noodles home. That meant he would have remained locked in a tiny room alone for two hours a day. If she loves this dog, she would let him go.
This exactly this like yeah he's a meanie for what he wrote oh so bad but you had a year to get the dog to get a home to have a stable condition and you don't and then you're collecting more animals how are you able to have those animals in your home but you can't even bring noodles who you had for 6 years supposedly it doesn't make sense I rather the dog with him and his girlfriend then with her because you popping out kids but you can't have space for a dog I need to understand that a dog and a kids space are almost the same so if you don't have space for a dog you barely have space for a kid
She did nothing for a year. She had time to get “her dog” and she didn’t make any effort to do that. The cousin isn’t a peach himself. But she made no effort over the course of a year to do anything. And a real greyhound shouldn’t live in a trailer. They need space. That’s a worse environment than where he came from
Defendants should learn appropriate courtroom behavior. Hold hands and cuddle at home not in the courtroom. Those Facebook messages were tell-all. What a terrible human being he is!
I believe the aunt is mentally compromised, which makes it tough for her to hold a position, especially under pressure. I can only imagine the pressure the slime ball inflicted on her & it wouldn't take much. He took knowingly advantage. I hope he's never a policeman.
I could never give up a pet I've had for years. Only if I couldn't care for it anymore, would I find that acceptable to find another good home. I adopted older pets. I can't tell you how many times I find a 10 year old cat or old, given up for 'allergies', or moving.
She never really cared for the dog she visited the dog all the time yes but care for the dog not really because the dog lives with the grandma and she didn't have a home for her her child or the dog so how was she going to take care of that animal even when she had the paperwork like she said she could have put it in the other grandma's house but in the very beginning she stated that she did not want to bring it to that other grandma's house because there was too much things going on between her and Grandma so how are you going to bring it to the other grandma if like none of it makes sense cuz in the beginning we have a great relationship me and my aunt we're all clothes yada yada yada and then all of a sudden it's oh she's manipulative she's emotional she's this she's that I can't have a really close relationship if the person is a narcissist is really no such thing as a close relationship there's also no way that she could take care of a child and a dog and not have a home unless that dog was a service dog or a support dog then she could not bring it to a shelter if she had to go to get herself a home like yes he is a a-hole we all understand that but where was that dog going to be at if she doesn't have a house including when like I keep on stating that type of breed of dog cannot stay in one room all the time and that's exactly what that dog was doing that dog was not getting the love or attention or space that that dog really need it and now that he is look at the dog now he is smiling ear-to-ear he is happy he is great and if they was really close and relationship it didn't matter where that dog was at because as long as they had a good relationship she would have still been able to visit the dog but apparently they never had a good relationship which means that they both lied in the beginning talking about they had a okay or good enough relationship cuz if that was the case you could visit the dog at all times including when you don't have a home
You can't choose your relatives but you can choose your family. Hopefully, they can get some family counseling and resolve their conflict, but you always have to be prepared to let some people go from your life.
Plaintiff being wayyyy too dramatic over a dog that was never even hers. If she cared so much about the dog she would have gotten her living situation figured out and brought the dog to her home the first time Aunt said she could have him.
Wow... And I thought my family was bad. We may have communication issues but we would never talk to each other the way that man spoke to her. That was deplorable. But to be honest he'll fit right in with the police. I hope she finds some comfort and knowing that the dog seems to be in a happy loving place. She should focus on her child now!!
I am so disgusted. What a horrible man, and the girlfriend kept smiling at him while the judge read that message out loud bc she was fulllyyyy aware that he said those things probably encouraged it. The nanny was nasty as well, must be where he gets it from. I don’t blame her for cutting them out of her life. I hope he NEVER gets a badge.
I think a lot of people are focused on the lying aunt, upset grandma, and mad cousin. The aunt and grandmother said they told her a YEAR AGO she could have the dog. She never took him away for a WHOLE year. She also had a baby within that same time span and had other pets. She does not even stay in the trailer anymore and lives with someone else. The best thing for the dog was and is to stay with the cousin's girlfriend. Leaving emotions out of this, the judge made the right decision and dressed the cousin down.
OH JUDGE !!!!!!!! I just think this time you are wrong 😢. Should have gone to the one who OBVIOUSLY loved him the most. There weren't really any major "legal" reasons to give that dog to the xousin were there??? And what about the paper signed by the aunt ? The gf did, which is why she swooped him up right away and gave him a better life. The plaintiff lost me when all she seemed to care about was what they'd done to HER, and was suing for $1000. I feel for the heartbroken plaintiff, and I too would have nothing to do with that lousy slimeball cousin, wishy-washy aunt, and that mean cranky looking granny that in the end was about to say something nasty about living in a trailer.
The second hand embarrassment I’m getting when the judge read out the defendants texts LOL and the way his gf looking at him “I didn’t know he was that mean” oh my god 😭😭
Seriously. Her whole body language was so awkward. That's why you always see how things are after the honeymoon stage. People change.
They screwed over the plaintiff BAD. To not notify her before giving the dog to someone else and no option for a deadline is messed up. Clearly the dog meant a lot to her. If I were the defendants gf I’d just give her the dog
7 years is late for a dog they has 8 or 10 years max ! this beyond mean what kind of people does that :(
I don't know I thought she was giggling
@@pamelahooper-tr7siShe was giggling. Those two deserve each other. ☹️🥺
What an absolute disgrace. The defendant is a disgusting example of a human being.
I would cut all contact with my "family" too if they treated me like this. I definitely feel for the plaintiff, it's really sad she couldn't get noodle
What a horrible man, makes me wonder how he treated everyone when he served, and now he wants to be a cop, hope not.
"She won't let me see my great-grandchild anymore!!!"
GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He does NOT make $120k as a Marine. Get real.
And he certainly won't make that as a cop.
@dd1862 he actually could make $120K as a police officer in a lot of locations
@@SPEDTEACHERBURNEY Not as a new rookie.
He's an ex Marine and said he earns that now. What an ahole though. I figured he'd have to take a big pay drop to become a rookie police officer.
This young lady seems to care for Noodle very, very much. This is heartbreaking.
Dogs need love and it seems Noodle is loved by both sides.
I agree that the plaintiff really cares about and loves Noodle, but I don’t think the dog is actually loved by the male defendant (“Toph”). Maybe the girlfriend loves Noodle, but that guy isn’t capable of truly loving a pet (and probably not a person either). He sees that dog as a prize, something that proves he is the “winner” in the competition between he and his cousin. I wouldn’t trust him to even pet sit a dog.
This comment is what I was looking for!! So many keep saying that noodles is finally free and all that counts is that he has a good home... um, I honestly think it was never about that to him. He just wanted to get one over on her, and wanted to win. You can tell Grams and him are evil and controlling asf. You can be evil and like dogs, but he gives me, 'I'm going to lock this dog up (or outside), too, if he steps out of line vibes.' @@synnove1046
Just like the defendant said
How do you know Noodle is happy and living his best life?
And now the aunt has lost her niece that seemed to care about her.
@@oldageisdumb because it’s not stashed away in a double wide with a small collection of other animals. I’ve seen that situation before, it’s not pretty.
@@samgardner4667 Oh so have I. I’ve run an animal rescue for 12 years. But just because the trailer isn’t a good situation doesn’t mean the dog is currently living its best life. It can be equally as crappy with the defendants. Look what a jerk the guy is. Maybe he yells at the dog or worse. Maybe they leave him crated from 7am-7pm. That’s a horrible life, too
The last thing the defendant needs to become is a police officer. Wow
That young man is a classic abuser. Run away, girlfriend. RUN! Do NOT hire him as a police officer, he is wicked.
The girlfriend knew they are exactly alike she knew about the text too she just didn’t think it would be on tv
@@yahdygirlagreed she is just as toxic as he is !
easy.
Girlfriend coming into court ready to chew the plaintiff. Once the nasty messages were read on national tv, she bowed her head in shame.
You know he's cheating and beating on her (whether emotionally or physically), prob doing it to Noodles, too.,
It sounds to me like the aunt said, "You can have him," to just about anybody who liked him. The girlfriend was the first to take her up on it.
Sweet Girlfriend
I agree, the girlfriend seems like a solid person who has given the dog a nice home for 7 months.
100% !!!!
This is one of the most depressing case I have seen on PC 😢
I felt like that too, but the bigger picture is that the dog is in a better place. Even though the defendant guy is a pos, him and his gf are taking care of the dog. And my heart goes out to the plaintiff girl, but I think her grandmother was right, she had a lot on her plate. Hopefully the plaintiff makes peace with the decision. It didn’t matter how long they were telling her she could have the dog, they really didn’t want her to have noodles. She wasn’t the best candidate due to her circumstances.
The worst was that family that hid a missing kid at their place while the parents and police were doing a full out manhunt to find her.
@@lukerinderknecht2982of course that’s a terrible thing to do. But it’s also completely irrelevant.
This and there is another case that is most heartbreaking… “Dismissing A Daughter.”
@@synnove1046Not irrelevant. Just a different perspective on how terrible things can actually be.
THANK YOU JM for reading the defendant's messages to the plaintiff so everyone could hear. I hope he is ashamed of himself, although I doubt he will be. That grandmother proved the plaintiff's point at the end, and I am so sorry that the sweet dog went to the future bully officer and his nasty girlfriend.
He will make a terrible cop.
Her cousin is disgusting. It’s scary knowing he’s a marine and soon to be cop. The grandmother is mean as hell. I feel sorry for the plaintiff, I hope she moves on from that family.
This story has me bawling like a baby. I feel so bad for the lady that lost the dog. I am totally feeling her pain.

Gimme a break it’s a dog. A dorky looking one at that. It wasn’t about the dog.
@@thefonzkissDogs are like family and to some dogs are like children and I’ve had many pets and they were like family, so I feel her pain because you can grow a bond with an animal just like you can with a person, so it wasn’t just a dog to her.
@@private464 I disagree. I think he was pandering to the judge and didn't regret it in the least.

Poor Noodle. He has never had any real stability, and now, he lives with a mean jerk. 😔
Doug is such a savage. He pokes and prods in those post case interviews 😂
The plaintiff has a greater blessing coming to her.🙏🙏🙏
I think so. Many people are overlooking the fact that the plaintiff didn’t have the proper space for that dog. That breed is one of the worst to have cooped up in a small space.
"A slimeball" 😂 Wow Doug!
I’ll give them a few months.

That Aunt and Grandma totally did that niece/granddaughter wrong. They treated her like crap. I hope she is able to move on.
I'm so glad Mr Marine got called out by the judge. He's about power and control and a perfect example of the need for intense psychological evaluation prior to giving someone a badge and allowing themselves to be called a police officer.
The fact that he went scorched earth like that over a dog he had for ten seconds is crazy
The plaintiff mouthing "are you f-cking kidding me?" as the defendants walk in had me laughing out loud.
OMG I just saw that!
Police officer??? God help us ALL! Who would want someone this heartless and disgusting carrying a weapon!! Who needs family like this!
The look the girlfriend gave him when the judge read $120k a year 😂 she knows he’s lying
It’s obvious when he says he’s going to be a police officer. Yeah right. “I’m leaving my $120,000 a year job to be a cop and make $50,000.”
"...You came off like a slimeball on this one!"🤣 Gotta love Doug!❤
Noodle needed to be brought into the courtroom and see how IT went too and how it actec towards both Cousins.
Sueing family over a dog is so insane, her forced tears are so cringe
The best interest of the dog is most important. The young lady loves the dog, but she lives in a trailer with her son and other animals. She possibly would never have been able to afford to bring Noodles home. That meant he would have remained locked in a tiny room alone for two hours a day. If she loves this dog, she would let him go.
Exactly! And they gave her a year to get it together then she has a child she can’t afford and collects other animals.
The defendant got called out and embarrassed by JM. Ouch.
She did nothing for a year. She had time to get “her dog” and she didn’t make any effort to do that. The cousin isn’t a peach himself. But she made no effort over the course of a year to do anything. And a real greyhound shouldn’t live in a trailer. They need space. That’s a worse environment than where he came from
Uh-oh. The aunt in question is sitting on the defendant's side. This is gonna be an uphill battle for the plaintiff to prove her claim of ownership.
Defendants should learn appropriate courtroom behavior. Hold hands and cuddle at home not in the courtroom. Those Facebook messages were tell-all. What a terrible human being he is!
Dude like that should NEVER be a cop. I hope whoever does his background sees this and doesn't hire him.
I believe the aunt is mentally compromised, which makes it tough for her to hold a position, especially under pressure. I can only imagine the pressure the slime ball inflicted on her & it wouldn't take much. He took knowingly advantage. I hope he's never a policeman.
He definitely pushes her around.
I would like to hear what Noodle thinks about all this!
She does NOT need that dog 😂😂😂
Einstein once said, "If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things."
18:50 keep dabbing those imaginary tears!
THOSE ARE NOT IMAGINARY TEARS. WHAT YOU SEE IS REAL, NOT ACTORS. BUT REAL LITIGANTS, REAL CASES, REAL JUDGE.
EHS... I hope Noodle is doing well. 😔 Such a sad crappy case. Glad the Judge read his words outloud.. this is so depressing.
You can't choose your relatives but you can choose your family. Hopefully, they can get some family counseling and resolve their conflict, but you always have to be prepared to let some people go from your life.
Well put. I like the distinction between relatives and family.
I couldn't agree more. Family is those who are there for you, not those who are related to you
Those defendants will never agree to go to counseling. They will go out for lunch together and bad mouth the plaintiff now.
"I didn't know he was that mean" 🤣
Plaintiff being wayyyy too dramatic over a dog that was never even hers. If she cared so much about the dog she would have gotten her living situation figured out and brought the dog to her home the first time Aunt said she could have him.
Send those letters to his commanding officer and any PD or SO he applies to!!!
Wow... And I thought my family was bad. We may have communication issues but we would never talk to each other the way that man spoke to her. That was deplorable. But to be honest he'll fit right in with the police. I hope she finds some comfort and knowing that the dog seems to be in a happy loving place. She should focus on her child now!!
She gotta pull herself together. I can only imagine how emotional she'll get over a breakup
shes a mess.
I’m saying !!!
Sure but she feels betrayed by her whole family. Thats pretty emotional.
She's crazy & shouldn't have animals or children to care for, until she gets counciling & gets her head together.
The cousins a jerk! I feel bad for her but she had a year to pick him up.
Non blood non relative gets the dog. Really?
I think a lot of people are focused on the lying aunt, upset grandma, and mad cousin. The aunt and grandmother said they told her a YEAR AGO she could have the dog. She never took him away for a WHOLE year. She also had a baby within that same time span and had other pets. She does not even stay in the trailer anymore and lives with someone else. The best thing for the dog was and is to stay with the cousin's girlfriend. Leaving emotions out of this, the judge made the right decision and dressed the cousin down.
While it probably is a good decision for the dog, the defendants treated the plaintiff like crap.
OH JUDGE !!!!!!!!
I just think this time you are wrong 😢. Should have gone to the one who OBVIOUSLY loved him the most. There weren't really any major "legal" reasons to give that dog to the xousin were there??? And what about the paper signed by the aunt ? AND the fact that the cousin stood right there and lied to your face !!!!! At that point I truly believe if a person raises their hand and swears to tell the truth THEN LIES TO THE JUDGE HE SHOULD NOT WIN. !!
ISNT THERE A PENALTY IN YOUR COURT FOR PERJURY ????
PROPS THO FOR READING HIS DISGUSTING TEXT MESSAGE. ❤
This is way ppl get shot by the police. This boy would do this to his own cousin what would he do to a stranger. Don't make him become a cop with a gun . We won't be safe he has problems seek help please
What’s gonna happen? If the slimeball and the girlfriend break up nobody else see that dog again. Pathetic. Really a pathetic outcome.
The plaintiff has a young child who needs her attention. I understand love for a dog, but she needs to put her priorities in order.
Having a child does not preclude one from having a dog. That is just ridiculous! Countless people have children and pets AT THE SAME TIME. Do you actually believe what you wrote? Pet’s are a great addition to the family.
You can have a dog when you have a child, having a child doesnt mean you can never own dogs
@synnove1046 Nobody is saying that. Good Lord. I had several dogs and a couple of kids, too, but my priorities were in the right order.
Ugh, this one was heartbreaking 💔 Hope the dog is really in a better situation
The grandmother’s true colors sure was shown after that speaks volumes. And that’s why the Grandson speaks in that manner looking down on ppl the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree 🤦🏾♀️ I hope this was an eye opener for the girlfriend 😳
I bet it was, she looked so embarrassed when it was being read off and at the end, she's wanting to distance herself from them.
When she gave the dog away the first time, it was not hers to give away the second time?
At the end of the day all I care about is the dog and it's wellbeing. She lives in a trailer with multiple cats and other animals and a baby... Id rather the dog end up with someone who has the space and backyard for it to run around. It's a Greyhound dog! They love to run. I didn't believe it should have gone to her either.
Granny is cold hearted. Picked up on it immediately.

I want to say girl run and never look back but she seems like a mature forgiving person so she may forgive them. Bless her heart

They took that dog out of spite.
No one cry’s for the poor dog that gets stuck inside a room ?
The gf did, which is why she swooped him up right away and gave him a better life. The plaintiff lost me when all she seemed to care about was what they'd done to HER, and was suing for $1000. If it really were all about the dog, she should have been happy he had a loving home, and made friends with the gf to go visit him.

But yeah - I even saw a comment where someone suggested the plaintiff go steal the dog from its new home. And do what? Lock it up in a single room with two adults, a child, and several caged pets? Ugh!
True but that was at the previous home because the clueless aunt/granny failed to socialize Noodle with the other dog. The girlfriend gave him a great new home for 7 months. Stop shuffling the dog around now that he's stabilized. Good verdict. Note: An easy 10 minute segment of The Dog Whisperer would have taught them how to socialize dogs.
@@MusicTennis it was also noted that the plaintiff, her partner, and their child lived in a room with various caged pets. That's to what I was referring. I hope the girlfriend uses that info about her boyfriend wisely that was a horrible thing I have ever seen
All he needs is a mustache and he’s Hitler😂
That was a very hollow win.
