Where do you think is the best place to get hot dogs in your state?
My kitchen
"Der" Wienerschnitzel!
It's called the super market.
Lol i not hater i subsciber!
Here in California...most decidedly PINK'S....
Ted's in Buffalo, NY
I was working on a job site in Bristol CT, a catering truck would come by 2-3 times a day, and best hot dog chili ever. Not a chili sauce, an actual chili. At first it was just the lunch run, but after 2 days, they made it part of the morning stop.
Great review on hotdogs! Thanks & may I say you have a lovely appetizing voice!
I was recently in Las Vegas and found tacos y hotdogs sonora, very tasty. I have to mention Hot dogs etc from Bryan, Texas as well!
The best place to get a hot dog, is in my own home !! I love making "Texas Tommies' ; a hot dog with cheese stuffed in the middle, wrapped in a piece of bacon and fried until crisp. I then add chopped onion, more cheese and whole grain mustard. 😋
So glad to see Dog House in Albuquerque listed! Their chili sauce is really hot like everything with chile in New Mexico. Very little indoor seating, and none outdoors except what you might come up with in the large parking lot.
Best hotdogs in the state.
Arizona's El Guero Canelo served me my first Sonoran Dog - LOVED it! Been there many times when we lived in Tucson.
You guys know Tokyo Dog in Seattle? They sell a $169 hotdog with truffel and wagyu beef and stuff. When I was in Seattle, I won a coupon to get it for $20 (which is still expensive!), so I ate it. It was heaven in my mouth. So worth it.
Sounds amazing! Glad you got to enjoy it!
hotdogs should cost 2-5 dollars and should be eaten with the hands without getting messy.
@@CSLFiero messy is a must! :)
Costco in every state .... for the value.
They lose money on them!
Yech
For our value, not theirs🤣
The Kirkland hotdogs are good.
Their pretty good.
In the 90s, the Rockies Stadium baseball games was a favorite pastime for me, even though I've never been a baseball fan. But I've always been a Coleman hotdog fan, and they actually served them for several years at the stadium!
The zephyrs (before the Rockies) played at the old mile high, the dogs they had were insane $3 10" Chicago dogs 😊
Thank you for telling me. I obviouslly don't have the ability to find the best myself. I'm so glad that there are people that know everything.
@@RaymondGinn1978 I wanted to know, But he was wrong. Why do people think they know everything? The truth is there is no best. Only a persons personal favorite.
Loved the video. The Coney Island place in Kalamazoo,Michigan is good too.
It's definitely not Detroit!!!
Being a Georgian, The Varsity is an experience to savor but the food is not that great. The Varsity is a tourist destination, that’s it, that’s all it is. You want a fantastic tasting dog? Go to Skip’s in Avondale Estates, a suburb of Atlanta. Well worth the trip.
The Best Hot Dog I ever got was in Pensacola on vacation in the late 70s at a stand at the beach. The BIG DAWG was a smoked sausage frank, bun, mustard, chili, sauerkraut, cheese, and jalapeños.
I make these myself sometimes.
I grew up in NC and lived my adult life in NYC.....southern style hot dogs with chili , slaw and onions are the best
For New Jersey ( NJ ) I feel you got this wrong! I personally love Rutt's Hut in Clifton and is my top dog! It is also more well known in NJ! Others like Hot Grill in Clifton, Tommy’s Italian Sausage in Elizabeth, Hiram’s in Fort Lee, and Destination Dogs in New Brunswick and Toby’s Cup in Lopatcong!
Callahan's for me!
Also Hot dog Johnny’s in Buttzville, NJ
You sure know your wieners, Huh?
Jersey Johnny’s Grill is my go to place for great hot dogs.
Boulevard Drinks in JC
Aside from homemade hot dogs, the best one I have ever eaten (I don’t usually get hot dogs from restaurants thought) was from Hungry Dog when I was in SD. The video didn’t even mention the best thing about it though. From what I recall, they have their dogs made especially for them, and then smoke them. I bit into my dog and saw a nice big smoke ring all the way around it.
I’ve been hoping my kids have another hockey tornament out there because I don’t want to drive 4 hours for a hot dog…
Really enjoyed your video!
Famous Lunch been in business for 90 years in Troy , NY . Dogs were served in American Embassy in Russia .
This is awesome. Inflation can be beat. The hotdog.
Coney Island in downtown Tulsa best ever . I can't wait to have them again .
Buldogis kicks ass! I used to live a couple miles from them. They are the Best! Now I'm outside of Chicago. More hot dog stands than McDonald's!
I've been eating Gus hotdogs for 55 years. Great dogs!
Saws BBQ in Birmingham. So good!!
Cut the cap
Got 2 places that come to mind right away. Zacks in burlington north carolina and the roast grill in Raleigh north carolina.
Been to Voss's, calahans in Buffalo, best New York Dog Nathans in Coney Island,Surf and Stillwell. So good all you need is the mustard.
I live maybe 5 or so minutes from fritz! Their Betty rogers sandwich is absolutely phenomenal.
Good Dog on Studewood in Houston. Scratch made meat, locally sourced buns and incredible condiments. Too good.
I live in upstate New York so I'm biased. Tony's Texas Hots, Johnson City, NY. Been there forever. GREAT hot dogs!
Well Hula Dog is no more in Waikiki so guess that doesnt work anymore however I suggest the replacement be Hanks Haute Dogs in Kakaako yes it is expensive but theh are good.
Bunyan’s BBQ’s Slaw Dog is easily Alabama’s best hot dog. It’s a national treasure.
THE Coney Island in fort wayne is fantastic. been eating them for over 50 years...
Great Video! However, I can't believe that you left out Northern California! Casper's Hot Dogs has been an east bay go to for hot dogs as long as I can remember. They have been around since 1934. My go to when I am craving a hot dog.
I have been going to the Casper's in Pleasant Hill for about 30 years. Even though I now live out of state, I make the drive for a double cheese dog (or 3!).
The pictures of Hungry Dog in South Dakota is actually a dog stand in Belmont, NH.
Solid video
Love the Brighton HotDog shop.
Went to the place in Fort Wayne Indiana. That place was amazing.
Guranteed!! American coney in mi bought there spot on this list. Every detroiter knows it’s layfayette coney all day!
those dogs at jimmy buffs in new jersey look awesome
#thebest #mississippi excellent video!
G&A Restaurant in Baltimore has the best coney dog in Maryland. Outstanding. Second place for Maryland dogs is Catalyst.😊
Nick's Nest in Holyoke, MA. Great dogs!!
That's not even a Chicago style hotdog! Looks tasty but there are no onions on Chicago Style, and it's missing tomatoes, pickle spear, poppy seed bun, neon relish, and celery salt.
It is a maxwell street polish, which is in Chicago.............
Idaho's best dog cones from Jonses', the Tater Pig is, at best, the 4th best at WEISF.
1. JONSES' w/ grilled onions
2. Pronto Pup
3. Pig n' a Blanket (potato)
4. Tater Pig
Sure, you posted one for SOUTHERN California, but what about Northern California? (We're honestly night n' day difference from SoCal...) Honestly, for me, it's gotta be Casper's in Richmond. They sell some of the best hot dogs I've ever eaten, and they actually commercially sell their dogs in the supermarkets!
Love the video it was too fast am hungry 😋 now
Connecticut, Blackies in Cheshire. Grilled in butter and house made hot relish. Capital Lunch in New Britain in second place.
Blackie’s is the best!
In Ohio it's The Hot Dog Shoppe in Warren hands down. There are a few knock offs around but the original is in Warren. Super cheap & super good. You've gotta get a family fry with sauce & cheese.
Tony packos and I deal"s hot dogs in Toledo, And Rudys Hots are good too Not a chili sauce poured on them
there are no “knock offs” its a chain restaurant. and the original one is in brighton pennsylvania
the new jersey italian hot dog with onions, peppers, and potatoes is the king, not even close
If you had included DC in the video, I'm sure you would've dished about Ben's Chili Bowl or Halfsmoke. So many celebrities dined at Ben's before.
Tony Paco's is famous also for being on MASH tv show. It was mentioned many times by Jammie Farr who played Klinger and was is from Toledo, Ohio.
Adams ribs in Chicago.
Famous, but not good.
My favorite Seattle place to go is "Dog in the Park" @ Westlake Park.
They sell the Seattle dog: Bagel bun, pork sausage, lime cream cheese, caramelized onions, jalapenos
Ohhh I love me a Chicago dog. Dragged through the garden!
Never grilled though. A real Chicago dog is a boiled or steamed Vienna!
Being from New Orleans I have seen the lines and they blocks long at times but Dat Dog selling more then just hotdogs!!!👍👍👍
Live in nola too..i wouldn't pay $8 for a hotdog tho, cant believe how over priced everything is here
Ann's dairy creme in Glen Burnie md has the best chili footling hot dogs and shakes, always a line out of the door!!!!
Best hot dog
Virginia's best hot dogs are at Martinsville speedway and cost $2 fully loaded on race day. Some consider them the best.
For Nebraska, FlyDogz in Lincoln is my favorite!
I live in Tucson and I am glad to see el guero canello on the list
Guero Canelo is good but the quality is going down hill. He should have stuck with the original location on 12th ave. Just like BK's. Even some street vendors are better.
@@stevethepyro420 Yeah and its really expensive too
Hydes just outside of Syracuse in Liverpool,NY. Try the white hots...
Coney Island dogs everywhere except... Coney Island, NY. NJ best doghouse is Boulevard Drinks in Jersey City.
whenever i go north i go to lesage WV for some hillbilly hotdogs, but back in the day phils coney island in cols ohio was the bomb. and the southern kitchen in charleston WV. rip SK.
The Dog House in Delaware does make a good product. But I feel obligated to give DeerHead Hot Dogs a Shout out. They got A secret sauce with a nice kick. Double dog, mustard, onions, sauce. Yup! Wilmington and Newark.
Ohio checking in. Tony Packo's is a solid choice.
Bills Hot Dogs in Eastern North Carolina. Unbeatable.
So Cal PINK'S YUM 😋
Flo's from Maine would crush everybody on this list.
Try Al's French fries in South Burlington, Vermont.. It is the very best......
Pulliam’s is definitely an institution in Winston-Salem. Did y’all try Red Caboose or PB’s?
Blackie's Hot Dogs in Chesire, Connecticut. This place has been around for almost 100 years, same building, same homemade relish, same closed on Fridays to observe the old no meat on Fridays.
I have to try it first then tell you, Alright! Thanks!
I’m an expert about beef sandwiches and hotdogs. In Chicago their are many excellent stands Portillo has a great dog
Coney Islander has the best hot dogs for sure although personally I love Saugy hot dogs nothing beats those. Never heard of a Dynamite Dog or a sloppy joe referred to as a Dynamite now that I think of it. Must be an upper Rhode Island thing.
Not a hot-dog per se, but there's this dude with a little bratwurst stand outside of home depot in my town. He makes the absolute best brats I've ever had, and many of them are wild-game. Such a random spot but he gets some serious lines come lunch time!
The Varsity in Atlanta is the Best Dog!!
The absolute best place to get a Hot Dog in New Jersey is "The Hot Grill" in Clifton NJ just off Route 46. You're welcome!
I know DC isn't a state but show them some love on these videos
Ben’s Chili Bowl!
It’s who you make them. You can make the right decision by making what the people feel is right and with your touch.
The best hotdogs I've ever eat were in phenix city AL at hidden grill
Really?? Gotta try it!
Western new york. You definitely want to go to zorbas depew ny
Being from Missouri I've never even heard of Steve's hot dogs and we have been almost every where. Obviously they didn't do research but if you are in the midwest go to Freddy's for a glizzy. Try their Chicago style dog.
What's a glizzy
@@robertstoudt4578 a hotdog
The Tater Pig was created at the Western Montana State Fair in Missoula, MT!
In Minneapolis LITT which used to be called tilt. Is ungodly expensive. $10 for a hotdog? And if you wanna get a soda pop, that’s gonna cost you a lot more. And if you start paying to play the pinball games, make sure you have at least 25 bucks per person.
the veribest is Heid's in Liverpool NY ♥♥♥
OMG ,I'm hungry now.🌭
Nothing beats Habibs 3 day old 7-11 dog...grilled under a hot lamp.
Missouri I Had a St.Louis Hot Dog with Cheese Whiz & Bacon Bits.
Pott's hotdogs in Bethlehem PA are the best in Pennsylvania .
I can attest biker Jim's is legit!!
Boar, bison, ostrich, yak , rattlesnake and a few more. Try the charred cauliflower it's addicting
Rawley? Never heard of it. That tells you how good it is. The absolute best hot dogs in CT can be found at Capitol Lunch.
Where I live in Bridgeport, Connecticut, there was a tiny little shack on Huntington Turnpike called: "World's WORST Dogs! DON'T EVEN STOP!" Actually, they were pretty good 👍👌😄 Unfortunately, folks must've believed their sign, cause they kind of went "bust" rather quickly... 😞
If you're going to talk about hotdogs in Texas you have to talk about James Coney Island. A Houston staple that has been around for 99 years and counting. So popular they even expanding to some of the other major metros in the state. The classic chili cheese coney with onions really hits the spot, and it's not a one off gimmick from a place that no one I know in DFW has ever heard of.
The place that they mentioned is now permanently closed as well
Did they mention Texas Hot Dogs?
They got Michigan wrong as well!!!
The best dog in jersey is a a place called Hotdog Johnny’s. They do a hotdog with pickles onion and mustard. It’s easily my favorite hotdog.
It’s known for its view, the hotdogs are not very good
Ight, I'm bout to learn y'all with your Virginia dog. I used to work next to Sam's, and they don't have anything close to what Gus's Hot Dog King offers. You guy's need to update your list STAT.
Louisiana's best are the Lucky Dogs from the Lucky Dog Carts in the French Quarter and the Airport. No chance that any other Hot Dog in Louisiana can beat it.
In North Carolina almost everybody likes chilli and coleslaw on their hotdogs.
N.Y. - Ted's plain n simple. Charcoal grilled Sahlens toasted bun with whatever. Works is good - onions, mustard, their sauce, dill pickle.
Tis a hot dog. If I want mac n cheese, fried potatoes or what health crap someones using I'll have it on the side. TY.
In Minnesota? It's the Coneys at the Gopher Bar in St. Paul that should be listed, instead of some place I've never even heard of in my life (Twin Cities resident).
If you're going to get a Coney in Detroit go to Lafayette right next door to American.
shoutout to my hometown joint Rawleys for making the list
I'm from Chicago and I'm already triggered. Illinois hasn't even come up yet.
I am as well, so who would be the best joint to go to?
Super Dawg?
@@phitzy1974 I've seen a story on Superdog before. If I ever get out to Chicago I plan to go there.
I am a Jimmys Red Hots fan, but Super Dawg, you cant go wrong.
@Derrick Pierce That's for the tourists.
my favorite hot dog in New York state is Zweigels doesn't matter from where as long as it's grilled
