I was blessed to have two grandfathers who fished. My PA pop pop was a fly fisherman and my Panama City granddaddy was a catfish and shell cracker assassin

So awesome things like this exist! Great to see people doing this type of stuff for sure! But I have to wonder if everybody on the boat knows they’re fishing with a couple sword fishing legends! When I was a kid in W Palm Beach in the late 60's, I went out on a party boat out of Riviera Beach every time I could put together $5. Red snappers were nearly gone, and our target was kingfish. So much fun.
Wow red snapper nearly gone . In the 80s on the west coast use to see my dad and uncle 25 dollars 6 to 7 hr night fishing party boat come back with big snappers . Couple keeper groupers
My sister and her special needs son along with her friend who brings her special needs daughter do this every year. In fact they are both going tomorrow on their annual trip. This is taking place in Southern California by Dana Point.
The kids absolutely love this trip.

Have been fishing this boat for more than 30 years now. From my regular fishing Sundays with Captain Walter until now with Ray and Captain Andrew and the other crew members. Was recently there a few weeks ago and had a great time as always.
Through the years I have never and I mean never had a bad day on this boat. Always catch some fish and the crew is totally awesome.
Look forward to being back on board in the next week or so.

Love to see people helping families with special needs get outdoors enjoy life to the fullest. takes me back when I was a Boy Scouts in the 70-80's and would volunteer to help with the summer camp program for special scouts, met so many great people.

I have gone out on this boat several times. Call ahead and reserve a spot on the stern. I always take some medium/light gear to hammer them snappers

Trippy seeing a party boat anchor. On the west coast Rockfish Halibit , Ling cod they idle and drift and run all day.
Fabulous way to get kids introduced to the greatest sport on earth, well done guys, and Miss I is a lovely looking old style fishing cruiser, as usual the cook up looked a success with the daughter, but did teddy give it the OK,, love your work to all involved

I took my son out on a head boat in orange beach 7 years ago for red snapper he was 14 at the time. I caught 1 huge trigger out of season and he limited out on big red snapper.

Love the Channel, always great content. With that being said, By far this affordable charter was the worst customer experience I had ever had. The captain was some old retire fire fighter who did not care what so ever about the people who pay to fish that day. My parents and I were promised that the back would be rotating for yellowtail for every guest; However, only 10 guest actually got to fish and the rest of the time its was the crewmate fishing. When asked by the captain he took no responsibility and said if we had any problem take to the front office when we got back. Once back I did talk to people at the office and they just play the cat on mouse game that it I should take it with the captain. At that point I just let the issue go and promise myself I would never fish there again. I hope the standard has improve but I know you lost me as a customer
Sorry to hear it wasn’t as enjoyable as it should have been. Andrew is the full time captain nowadays, I think you’d like him if you ever make it back down

Nick I love your vids...this one was great...already knew you did this stuff. But my wife and I would like to visit and help. She will be visiting between Sept-Nov hopefully this year... we aren't sure of a schedule...was an LDR, married after 10yrs of dating. So, it's New Orleans or you. I've not suggested you yet....but you are number 1 on my list. Asking you Nick, fall of this year....is there a similar event?....give some pluses and minuses about visiting BudnMarys or N.O.s? BTW....we have opposite seasons, she will be going into summer when we go into winter.
BTW, I am a very old floridian....lived in Clewiston 10yrs in the 60s. There is pre-history with parents....mom's fam from Ft. Myers....my last physical visit was in the 90s. I've never been further South than Miami and Alligator Alley to Naples.

Thanks for watching the vids. The Mission Fishin Trip is always a fun day. We don’t have any other trips like this planned for the rest of the year, but hopefully we’ll do it again next year. Mission fishin tries to do a monthly event, but most of them are in the Lighthouse point area. I would suggest reaching directly out to them and see if they are looking for volunteers and they can tell you the schedule.
I like the Fall here, not as many visitors and a little bit of everything when it comes to fishing. New Orleans probably better night light than Islamorada though
