FL Keys Bay Boat Offshore FRENZY! Tuna, Swordfish, Lobster! Catch and Cook

- In this episode we head offshore on our X3 bayboat from Shallow Sport Boats. First we load up on live bait, then we head to the humps. It's a tuna frenzy on the hump and we catch what we want including one really nice blackfin tuna! After that we head to the ledge and catch a swordfish on the first drop. On the way home we found a piece of bamboo and caught and released 2 juvenile wahoo. Back inside the reef Sara takes us to one of her spots and she catches a few lobster for dinner! It was an epic day and we did it all in a bay boat! You don't need a big offshore boat to go out there and have a great day fishing. Y you do have to play the weather right so always keep an eye on that. Back at home we cook the fish a couple different ways for dinner.

Great video. I have to pay respect to my mom and her shave every day, clean cut living that my dad always lives by, even at 86. He’s my Dad and I respect his respect of mom’s view that mullets are scruffy. I think you looked better short haired but you be you.

The bay boat offshore that’s the way I learned that’s the way I lived when I lived in Pasco county. Yet I never caught a tuna or a swordfish I wouldn’t trade my memories for a bigger faster boat…. Uh maybe during those nice north wind spring days great content Capt. Nick

That Swordfish could be a record for a Bay boat!
It was the first one on this bay boat for us but we did catching about a dozen on our old bay boat years ago. Always exciting out there though!

i live in Hilo, Hawaii... home of the one ton chips. i was surprised to see and hear the mention of one ton chips from charlie. that is good tasting chips! you should also try the one ton cookies that they have also... u will love it!! LOVE watching your videos!! and yes, some of us here love eating the blood line from Aku's (skip jack tuna) and Ahi's ( tuna ) also lol. ALSO, i think u should shave your head bolo head (bald) or close to it just once. u might like the change lol

Glad you are all having fun and showing your catch. What do you do to help replenish the ocean. Good stewards help keep our oceans healthy.
I am a big advocate for tag and release and have been fortunate to receive top tag and release honors in the Atlantic Ocean from the billfish foundation 5 of the past 6 years. Hoping we win again this year, we will know next month how wound up.

Nick I’m planning to come down the the keys and rent a boat for a week and fish. What tackle should I bring to catch some tuni and mahi-mahi. I fish out of nj a lot so rods aren’t an issue. Thanks
I would say 15-30 lb rods and you’ll be good
