You have to wonder how many of those young men and women featured in this film ended up dying for their county. I'm not Armenian (I'm Greek) but we have many Armenian Orthodox who immigrated to the USA and attend our church. The stories they have told us are heartbreaking. May God have mercy upon them all.
I am latvian from Latvia and let me tell you how this conflict/war looked to us overhere: we (majority) think that it is not realy "their country" (meaning Khrabach = armenian), when even Armenia does not officially recognize Kharabach as part of Armenia. For us it is "just another local conflict far away from our mother land", sorry to say the truth. Now let me be clear: we (the majority) are sorry for all the losses and injustice and war crimes, BUT we don't want to take any part / be on one any side because again- "it is not their land, it is not our problem, even their goverment not recongise it it as such".
