He’s a musical genius gifted by God and that’s it. I’ve been a die hard fan since I was 12 years old. First time I heard the album “Moonflower” was all it took, this song has 3 versions now, originally from the “Amigos” album, a master piece, then live on “Moonflower” and now this version with the horn section, singing, musicianship, it just doesn’t get any better. If this was a fair world, “Carlos Santana” would be in the top 5 best guitarist/musicians in the world in my opinion. I’m 57 years old now, I’ve seen him in concert over 40 times and never miss an opportunity when he plays San Diego or any place near, 5 times in Vegas now and he and his band never disappoint. Long live Carlos Santana!!!
Amigos is the album that did it for me when I was 11 in 1989 my Pops was playing the cassette at my uncle's house while we were visiting a lot of family in Alamogordo New Mexico from The San Francisco East Bay Area Contra Costa County. I've seen Santana Live 3 times in California and 3 times in New Mexico. Still waiting to hear this Epic Classic Santana Joint and Europa (Earth's Cry, Heaven's Smile) Live in Concert. Viva Santana
