To be fair when I first saw Z unpack the IEM I thought it was actually for the shortlived Eva 03, never crossed my mind it would be for Kaworu.
Cuz he has this AT field that can cancel any noise and produce the best Beethoven background music without any amplifier.

Been using these daily for about a week since I needed a replacement for my Sony wf1000xm3 that barely last two hours after a year of constant use. Your comparison to the ikko oh-10 is pretty spot on. Slightly less bass and soundstage but very similar tuning. Great battery life, no app to mess with, no ANC to keep tweaking, super comfortable for long time use. Love them so far. Only complaint is they don't seem to have a low battery indication sound or I've just missed it, but they are lasting close to 10 hours a charge so far so only minor complaint.
Turn the NC off then genius.
@@CAL1MBO NC was off, they lasted maybe an hour with it on. Nor would two hours be acceptable battery life with it on even if that was the problem.
I'm struggling to find any information on it, do you know if they have any level of water resistance? I've got some Sony SP800Ns that I use because of the water resistance, but they have noticabely worse quality than the WF-1000xm3s and it'd be cool if I at some point could get a pair with good audio and good water resistance. Also would you have an idea if these sound better or worse than the WF-100xm3s? I know you don't touch true wireless that often but I was just thinking you had potentially tried them out at some point.

are you also going to try to review the TRN BTS20 pro along with the FIO UTWS3? It's basically the same thing made by a different company. I have the TRN and it can power my tin P1s for quite a while and sounds pretty good (better than what I expect from a tiny bluetooth device under $100) too, not as good as the little bear b4-x portable amp I was using before but much more manageable than having the cables. There's also the Shure RMCE-TW1, iBasso CF01 and probably some others also, it would be cool to see a comparison.
He did a video saying the original was the future and incredible, just needed a pro version. We now have the pro version, but maybe it's impossible to get? Idk

I have the Eva-02 TWS since last year.
The case is a fucking pain to open that's for sure.
The manual mentions there's an app for it but.. I got it around 6-7 months ago & the app isn't yet available. If you care at all.
& at times the right side doesn't charge proper when I place it into the case. Got to ensure it lights up. It's fairly wobbly inside the casing for sure.
But yeah sure it fits perfectly in my ears.
So is it worth the money
@@mr.angryman3599 if you're a fan of the series, and know the average quality of TWS currently, I think it's somewhat worth getting. That said I might grab ev-01 just to collect anyway.
Maybe the rest will come later. I would love a Ghost in the Shell set XD. Or regular haedphones like these :O

There is one thing that stops me short everytime when it comes to wireless...battery life
Right now, regardless of how a product is made, I personally will not payi hundreds of dollars for a device that will eventually stop working not because of my many faults as a human but by design.
My question is what does this say about the market of audio devices? Is it proposed as an augmentated reality theme that rationalizes the price tag? Or is it just a fashion statement? A neat one if nothing else but utility seems to take a backseat.
@@Huskasin it is a fun device for fans of an anime that performs well as a very good wireless bud. Final also sell pricy wireless buds for the Japanese market.
@@Huskasin I understand that my view point isn't mainstream, if anything it goes against the flow to some degree when talking about portability, and I certainly didn't mean my original comment to offend anyone or their taste in audio equipment if that's the case I apologize. Wireless to me, to be honest is just another possible point of failure in the audio chain...but I'm willing to admit my ignorance on this matter. Seeing that I'm relatively new to this and all.
Issue is, is that most if not all products are designed to fail at varying degrees regardless to promote consumerism.
But yeah i agree about being wary of products that might fail and have parts be irreplaceable. The price is the mark up for fans & you could get comparable wireless buds for much cheaper.
@@Piggurt I agree all products do have a 'shelf life' and some last much longer than others, and still there's others which can be augmented with newer components. With today's tech specifically, there's less and less consumer capability {or end user upgrades/fixes/repairs}. And it's that point on which I argue. I have an old pair of Marantz Imperial 6-G's, they've got to be nearly 50yrs old now and I've replaced the woofer several times and the tweeter once in all those years, but have a drawer full of portable music players which died with no way for me to fix them.
There's a NERV themed pair that are black and red. NERV is a special organization that was put together to combat the Angels after the Second Impact and is the organization responsible for the creation of the Evangelions and they still couldn't fucking make one for Rei

Every other day vids are great honestly. the Sundara and other headphones vids are my favorites but IEMs and speakers are nice too. I thought it was funny the unboxing vid for UTWS3 came out in Feb but that was the IEM month but they broke. I bought them, I like them, BTR3k is better but the absolute convenience of them is stellar
the fiio collab should be lilith, but i do agree that there should be a collab. also maybe the headset they have never said will release will be rei, that would be nice. i would pay desk real estate on my very small desk to have an eva unit hold my headset though instead of having them all under my desk on brainwavz hooks

TBF Evangelion has been around for awhile and is considered an anime for a more mature audience. The colors are meant to match the giant robots that only a specific set of teens are able to pilot.

And for any of you who've never seen Eva do yourself a favor and watch Neon Genesis Evangelion anime then End of Evangelion movie. Rebuild is a complete and disgusting bastardization of any special meaning the original Anime n movie had. Characters have their motivations destroyed and raped and is made purely out of cynical anger and greed by the series creator Anno.
